Good things: We thought the bathrooms and showers were very clean. The food at Moes was good as were the drinks. The store was well-stocked with toys, food, and clothing. The pool and jacuzzi were great, and the kids loved them. Kids' activities and games were plentiful, and they also enjoyed the playground. Staff was helpful in the office. Security was present and doing lots of rounds the first two nights (did not see them the busy Friday night). The camp was VERY, impressively, quiet at night. Middling things (mind you, the campground is not in control of these!): the sand is not soft sand like at the coastal beaches. Kids will probably need shoes for the shells and rocks, and it's packed super hard. The campground is under the flight path of John Wayne airport, so expect to know when it's 7 am each day since that's when the planes begin roaring overhead. Not-so-great things: the sites are super close together. Yes, you will be packed in like sardines, especially in the "standard" back row sites, which were completely filled when we visited. It is hard to back in when trucks are parked along the road, in front of the tiny sites- there is VERY little room for error. The sites are ALL DIRT, which I did not think would be so bad until I lived it. (Never again, unless I buy some turf at some point.) When campers dump their waste, expect to get some whiffs. (Many reviews note something about the angle of the dump/hose- we don't have a bathroom in our trailer so I can't attest to that issue.) Finally, the single biggest deal breaker for us was the allowed use of wood burning fire pits at sites. Since everyone is crammed in there, people burning wood on Friday night resulted in the paths and trailers and even the bathrooms being filled with smoke. They should only allow gas burning fire pits! So yeah- if we return it will only ever be mid week and preferably in the off-season.

I hope management takes customer experience more seriously moving forward and provides better staff training.

I actually decided to do this last-minute on Memorial Day because I accidentally drove to work when it was a holiday. I arrived a bit before 7 AM, and the trail is well-maintained, with restrooms at the trailhead. The parking spots do fill up pretty quickly, so come early! The other hikers are friendly, and the views were great. At the start, there are pretty flowers to look at, and the air was so refreshing.

The panoramic views of the rolling hills are breathtaking and being deep in the canyon, with very few people on the trail makes you feel immersed in nature. There are multiple trails in the area, all of which are well-maintained and clean. If you go on a weekday morning, it's especially peaceful--very quiet, empty, and feels wonderfully isolated. There are several parking lots and trailheads/gates for different entry points, but parking space is limited (shouldn't be a problem on the weekday).

However, I was extremely disappointed by the inconsistency regarding their pet policy. Before booking, I reviewed the campground rules online and understood that pit bulls were not allowed on the property. Because of this policy, I made the difficult and expensive decision to board my own dog elsewhere during our stay. To my surprise, throughout the weekend I saw multiple pit bulls openly walking around the campground. I brought my concerns to the front desk, and the only explanation given was that some guests do not disclose that they have pets and simply arrive with them, which is not an acceptable excuse. While the staff apologized, nothing changed, and the dogs remained on the property throughout our stay. My frustration is not necessarily about the dogs themselves, as I am also a pit bull owner and lover, but about the lack of enforcement and consistency of the stated rules. If the policy is not actually enforced, guests should not be expected to spend additional money boarding their pets based on the information provided online. Unfortunately, because of this experience, we will most likely not be returning for future RV camping trips.

Love this park went there today to check it out. Probably going to move there. Patrick the Park…read moremanager is really professional. Seems like a really good guy. The park is clean. Has coin laundry facilities, has shower facilities. It seems like all the lots have a little nice patch of grass. I would imagine maybe would sprinklers because the grass looks so good. It is a 55 and older, which makes it pretty quiet during the day. I can't wait to move in and meet everybody it's in a nice part of old town Tustin. There's lots of trees. The cool thing is you can stay here forever if you like it month-to-month pretty much move out when you want. Space rent., does not include electricity or cable, but does include water, trash, sewer, you are in the heart of Orange County. You're not at the beach, but you're close. You're kind of centrally located around the 55 freeway, the 5 and the 405 is really close. The 22 is relatively close too and the 91. Can't wait to move in. I'm looking forward to it.

After making it to the top of the turtle rock trail most of the walking past that point was relatively downhill, sometimes steep drops. You definitely need a pair of good hiking shoes for this venture (the Nikes I had didn't grip steep slopes up or down well. Awesome sights once you reach the top.

I'm an avid cyclist, and I recently took up Pilates for cross training 3 months ago; I've tried at…read moreleast 10-12+ studios trying to find what will be my "home studio," and I think I found it with Neaumix. The Von Karman and Northwood locations are under the same owner, and I love that I can use my passes at either location AND book up to entire month in advance; I'd give them more stars if I could, as that's truly rare among Pilates studios with 1-2 weeks being the norm. Parking is super accessible at both, and the studio size is perfection and capped at 9. I've tried different studios that cram 15+ reformers in a room, and there is simply no way for an instructor to be diligent in checking the form of that many people at any given time. Some studios sacrifice quality for quantity - not here at Neaumix though! I appreciate the classes at both Irvine location being a tad longer at 50 minutes, instead of 45 which is common at other studios (including other locations in the franchise). 5 minutes may not seem like a lot, but you can do at least 2 additional movements in that time period to maximize your workout and target additional muscle groups. I have genuinely enjoyed class with each instructor so far. Mariana (Von Karman) and Emily (Northwood) are especially top notch for their incredible attention to form and wonderful cueing. I also enjoy the movements in their classes, as I find them more dynamic, often engaging multiple muscle groups simultaneously to get an efficient, engaging work out. I consider myself fit and in great shape, but I leave each class humbled and sweaty. Today, I had a glitch with their booking platform where it wasn't deducting my passes properly, essentially giving me extra classes. Not wanting to abuse the system and take advantage of the error, I called the owner to report it in case it was a wider issue. John was so nice and appreciated me raising it to his attention; he even gave me a complimentary pass, which was truly too kind considering that they already give each client one free class. Can't recommend Neaumix enough, especially Northwood and Von Karman.

The "this" she was referring to was the unmitigated disaster that was the rideshare situation in Parking Lot 4. Drop off was fine, but the parking lot pick up procedure was both confusing, frustrating and a complete debacle. Keep in mind there were 45,000 attendees at least a third of whom probably booked a rideshare. Not only did police and event staff block off entry completely around 11:00PM (the show ended at 10:00PM) we were redirected to another parking lot supposedly letting drivers in (but didn't end up doing so) leaving people completely stranded to fend for themselves for their way home. Nobody seemed to have any idea what was going on or who had accurate information. You were completely out of luck if your phone died. Lord knows how you'd manage to get home. Our party didn't end up getting home until 1:30AM, 3.5 hours after the event ended. My guess is there's probably some kind of bizarre city ordinance that requires event spaces/parking lots close to residential homes to close at certain hours which is why they forced everyone out of Parking Lot 4 before anyone actually got picked up. I know this is the first year this music festival was held here and the space isn't properly prepared for traffic this size but this was completely unacceptable and avoidable. Shuttles and parking closer to the event were both pricy and sold out so for some folks the only reasonable alternative was a rideshare. What was otherwise an enjoyable space gave people a terrible impression and a bad taste in their mouths not to return to a place so poorly equipped to handle transport. If you're going to hold huge events like this, sort out the rideshare situation after the event or not do them at all at Irvine Great Park.
