So many negative reviews I had to come break it up with our groups positive experience…read more We camped here the last weekend of July for the Warped Tour music festival down the street. This was our first time camping in a park like this, we've only done some dry camping in the desert prior. I didn't know what to expect but was incredibly happy with everything. Booking online was easy peasy. Checking in was just as easy. Checkout was even easier as we didn't have to do anything besides pack up and go. Now our stay, we were a little worried on the size of the site as we had friends joining us with a second vehicle. Upon arrival we were ecstatic to see that our trailer, tow vehicle, and friends car all fit into our space and still gave us plenty of room to hangout. They had amenities like a bathroom/shower/pool, little market etc. We didn't have time for a dip in the pool but it looked well kept and nice. Our friends used the bathrooms and said they were standard campground showers. I didn't feel they were super necessary as the site has full hookups so I took a nice hot shower in our travel trailer. But hey, they're there if you need! The WiFi wasn't great, but it worked okay. If having high speed internet is important to you when traveling, get a hot spot on your phone or one of those spaceX satellite things. Anyway, we had a great experience, no issues at all. We already booked a site for next year as did a few of our friends!

Finding an RV spot in SoCal during vacationing season is next to impossible. I initially stay at a horrible and cracked out RV park that will remain nameless. After a couple day I had to get out. One of my co-workers suggested this place and let me tell you, it was a God send. Doris caters to the traveling working class people, she doesn't put up with parties drugs or bullshit. She wants her residents to be quiet and respectful of others. What more can you ask?! I would not recommend this place as a vacation destination but would recommend it for longer term stays. Also the monthly cost is very very affordable.

You will not find another park as good as this one in the area. From the start, Doris treated us really well. Left a great first impression of the park. Maintenance man helped me back our trailer as the park is a bit tight. Rose, was very forthcoming and went out of her way to make sure we got every dime owed to us after we left. It was a detail that got lost in the mix on my part, and because of her we got that pro rated rent back. Shes as honest as they get. Would definitely stay again, and recommend this place to anyone in my position.

You are perched away on a small hill with 3 shared fire pits between about 6 - 8 different tent sites. So if you want your own fire pit and privacy I definitely recommend some place else or else you'll be rolling the dice if people are there before you. This also isn't the best place for getting lost in nature as there is lots of light pollution from street lights, RV's, campers and cars coming in and out. You also have great cellular reception - so, if you want that full wilderness experience with a technology break, definitely check out parks further out. Reservations for tent sites are all done via telephone so be sure to call! As of the last date I went in Jan it was $31 to reserve a tent spot and fire wood bought from the campground was $15. (A bit pricey for sharing). The bring your own tent spots are also NOT next to or near the lake! Keep that in mind if you wanted to night fish! The pro is that the tent spot is close to the bathroom and the bathrooms do have showers! I will say this place is very RV and camper heavy with the main bulk of it being RV's - so if you have an RV or enjoy glamping this is an awesome spot!

There is free Wi-Fi; however, streaming might have issues when the park is full. Free laundry room! Well kept and modern located with the park restrooms. Our Verizon wireless router seems to have issues between 6 and 8 PM but works fairly good otherwise. Great T-Mobile 5G coverage! There's a small NEX within walking distance. No Restaurant on base however they do offer lunch at the gym/sailor Center during the work week. The gym is a very short walk from the park and is open 24/7! There's even a great little dive bar called Dave's Other Place where many Sailors stop on their way to Main Street when in port.
