Our home for 30 days! We're halfway through that point now. This park is really beautiful and…read moreexpensive! $72 per night! You pick your space on arrival. Many pull through spaces. There is free Wi-Fi; however, streaming might have issues when the park is full. Free laundry room! Well kept and modern located with the park restrooms. Our Verizon wireless router seems to have issues between 6 and 8 PM but works fairly good otherwise. Great T-Mobile 5G coverage! There's a small NEX within walking distance. No Restaurant on base however they do offer lunch at the gym/sailor Center during the work week. The gym is a very short walk from the park and is open 24/7! They offer a variety of fitness programs if you would like to participate. Very modern facility and equipment! There are several wonderful restaurants in the area! There's even a great little dive bar called Dave's Other Place where many Sailors stop on their way to Main Street when in port.

We were told to get there early before the Los Trancos parking lot is full. We got there on a Saturday around 10:30am and there was only one row in the back with open spots. We opted to take the short walk downhill to the beach rather than wait to take the shuttle. It was a nice walk and there's a cool tunnel along the way too. The visitor center and gift shop were very nice. Everyone working there was super friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they love their jobs. The beautiful beach was busy but clean. There's a nice restaurant there with great Bloody Mary's and food. It does get busy on the weekends.

They have both wide fire roads and single track roads that you can choose from, with varying levels of difficulty. Everything was well marked, and didn't see too many people when I went. Lots of wildflowers and native brush everywhere, glad to see it hasn't been overrun with the invasives like many other parks throughout OC.

My review is regarding site number C 32 and the Campground…read more I made reservations months in advance after planning with some friends. Reservations were easy with no problems. I selected my site based on where my other friends had made reservations. I have never camped at this campground, but heard nothing but good things. As I was driving through the Campground, I noticed that some of the RVs parked look like they are permanent residence. I didn't drive the entire campground, but the area I drove through to get to my site was a very clean a lot of trees and very green grass. I arrived at my site C 32 (back in parking) from what I could see from my car, a picnic table under a large tree was available at my site. The Bluff side does not provide fire pits. On the Bluff there is dry brush so I could understand why no fire pits on the Bluff. Luckily, my friends had the inner sites across from the Bluff, which provided fire pits. I started my hook ups and noticed a smell, it didn't smell like manure, but like dogs business. I noticed a metal trash can on the corner of my site so I opened it to see if it was coming from there, but it wasn't. It seemed like it was coming from the bluff at my site. It was very windy so I constantly could smell this. The good thing is I hung out at my friends sites and couldn't smell the same thing there. I noticed there was a lot of coyotes sounds at night and actually someone walking on the street so I don't know if it's the coyotes business in the bushes. Anyhow, that was just the only issue. My trailer is a Teardrop. So I took showers that was located close by. No coins or tokens needed. There are two shower stalls with a bench located just outside the showers. The shower stall that I used which was the first one as you walk in provided one hook that had two prongs. There are four toilet stalls, one being handicap accessible. The bathrooms were free of spiderwebs and very clean. It is well lit around the bathroom at night. From my site C 32 I had view of the lake but C 35 on up what is centered of the view of the lake. I found this to be the perfect spots. We camped here, September20th till the 24th. We still had summer weather with a couple of hot days, but in this area, it was constant breeze, which helped if you were not directly in the sun. I have to mention that at check-in the staff were friendly and helpful. I also have to agree with one of the other Yelper's that reviewed the prices are high but all of the other campgrounds I have visited are the same so I will not dock stars because of that reason. Everything nowadays is expensive. I noticed that they have Bonelli staff patrol during the day and night. On the day of my checkout, as I was leaving, I heard a voice and turned to see a gal at the kiosk saying thanks for staying with us and hope you visit again. I thought that was a nice way to send off a customer. That would be one of the reasons that would bring me back. I would definitely come back but probably pick a different site like C 36 or 35. Be cautious when booking with Bonelli Bluffs RV Resort. I had a very concerning experience…read moreinvolving refunds for three canceled reservations. I canceled three reservations but never received the refunds. I was told the money had been refunded to the "card on file," but the card they identified was not mine and was not the card I used for the original transactions. I contacted management for assistance, but they refused to resolve the issue and told me that this is simply how their system works. I still do not understand why a refund would be issued to a card other than the one used for the original purchase. Be careful. I am now pursuing the matter through formal legal channels.

It was getting extremely ridiculous!! I guess our state has had restrictions, idk, I think it has to do with each property owner! What if we have a vintage restored? still nobody will take it because of age. So frustrating!!! I'm sure most of you RV'ers and travel trailer/5th wheel owners know this very well and how much it can disturb you. We are not going to pay 50K+ for a new trailer when we have a perfectly good one! They really last a very long time!! So I called the owner and he was friendly, he has had this secret place for over 50 years.(not a secret now) He had 1 spot opened. My boyfriend relocated down in the area for work few months ago,so happy we found a place to take our '83 travel trailer. Didn't want to rent an apartment. The only things are one- its a very very small place- 9 units in total plus a duplex, 2-must have a smaller trailer-under 25 ft. (for several reasons- driveway and the lots itself are small) and 3- only 1 person aloud. Property is older. Not an issue for us. We fit the bill.( I visit 1 or 2 x a month) From what we have been told, he has really cleaned up the place too. Most everyone here has been here a long time, you can tell with most of the trailers. Friendly too. Thank you for this find. It really made things easier for us and finding a place for my guy. Area is great too. Everything is walking distance!!! Huge mall 1 block away and Sprouts across the street. perfect! A little loud,b/c of main street but nothing white noise can't fix. ;-)
