Well to start off we checked in at 11pm! We got stuck in…read moretraffic then got a flat tire. Our 3.5 hour drive turned into a 6.5 hour drive! They were kind enough to check on us when we weren't there at almost 7:30. I explained the situation and they were understanding. I called later to give the night attendant our ETA, she was waiting by at the entrance for us when we pulled in! She showed us to our site and was very descriptive of what we needed to do. She was confident in her trailer parking abilities too, she was willing to give us directions as far as we needed. Though my husband didn't as he drives a trailer all day every day. She said just take care of everything in the morning, made sure we were good and left is to finish setting up. The next morning was quiet and slow paced as we got moving and started making breakfast. We finally made it to the office and the lady there was kind,quick and informative! We went to the pool and hung out for a few then played some mini golf l. They have all kinds of items to change the game up each round/hole. My kids enjoyed getting to use their imagination. The bathrooms are very clean as well as everything else. The maintainer person even went two spots away from us with intent to use the blower, saw us and said he didn't want to stir things up for us. Later that night we were riding scooters and the maintenance man told my daughter "let's race"! She enjoyed that. The hardest part is probably having a 1 year old who just wants to be free but turns black every time he touches the pavement and 85 degrees with 87% humidity The location is great as well! Angels stadium, Disney and so many other things. If I had to choose somewhere to stay close by and save money by using the trailer, this is where I'd stay! You don't even realize you are in the middle of a very busy city! This park is family friendly and slow paced. The amount of cars moving around was so little I let the kids ride around without me. Well done Orangeland! Oh! I forgot to add! They seem to strive to be disability friendly! Now I'm not disabled and don't know everything required but they have ramps in all the public places making it easier to get places. They do not have a pool chair.

There is free Wi-Fi; however, streaming might have issues when the park is full. Free laundry room! Well kept and modern located with the park restrooms. Our Verizon wireless router seems to have issues between 6 and 8 PM but works fairly good otherwise. Great T-Mobile 5G coverage! There's a small NEX within walking distance. No Restaurant on base however they do offer lunch at the gym/sailor Center during the work week. The gym is a very short walk from the park and is open 24/7! They offer a variety of fitness programs if you would like to participate. Very modern facility and equipment! There are several wonderful restaurants in the area! There's even a great little dive bar called Dave's Other Place where many Sailors stop on their way to Main Street when in port.

I read about The Holiday's on Trip Advisr and was pleased to find mid-week openings the next week. I paid for one night in advance, but after the fun my granddaughter had that first day, I paid for another night and am glad to have done so. The turquoise and white trailer, "The Drifter" is adorable, as are all four units. Andy, the owner/ manager is friendly, easy to reach by phone, and stops by each day to provide for the needs of his current renters, and to prep for the next to arrive. With an included fridge, freezer, 3 burner stove, plates, cups, mugs, utensils, bbq utensils, sink with running water, heat, ample sleeping for 4, bath towels, beach towels, USB ports, board games, cards, and a bluetooth sound system, the trailer offers plenty of convenience for its diminuative size. For a small extra charge a generator provides AC, microwave and electricity. Each trailer gas picnic table, charcoal bbq, and a firepit... though we joined other campers at the communal firepit and enjoyed making new friends. The Holiday's Community has a shared storage shed filled with complimentary games (Jenga, Cornhole, Horseshoes, oversized Checkers, Bocce Ball, etc.) beach supplies (umbrellas, boogie boards, noodles). The beach is gorgeous... there are two paths to access the beach, one is quite steep and the hike back up is tough. The other path nearest to the Visitor Center is less steep. All in all, big props to The Holiday's! I will definitely be returning.

They don't enforce it (and these people mostly the under 55 mind you) to slow down, speed bumps are ignored. Cars parked in front of mobile homes, (which is a big "no no") and yet only certain people get scolded for doing so, while others get away. Also, some of the residents "people" are more like ghetto & homies that kinda get away with breaking some of the rules mentioned above - so my loved one has told me he see's it all the time. Other than that, my loved one's happy being there, some other people he knows are happy being there as well, just wish they would enforce their rules alot more and maybe serious security (not rent-a-cops who don't really look after the place) would give a peace of mind.

Trust me in my opinion none of the other parks have compared to Parque Santiago as nice as it is. It is first class and owns it's title. Even while I lived in the park but my job often taking me up to the Central Coast to work at times, I kept my lot because, I didn't want to lose my spot knowing I will never find anything as nice in this area again if I moved out and later try to get back in upon returning for local work once again. As a tenant from 2017-2022, all I have to say, speaking for my wife and I in our own experience, we were so glad and happy we found this nice, sweet little gem. We have found the park during our stay to be always so clean, quiet, peaceful, and such a safe place to live, which speaks a LOT for many of the urban areas in this County. The management has done a fine job providing excellent services and value while keeping the park beautifully maintained and not afraid to reinvest back into the property with upgrades and constant Maintance by making our stay here very comforting. It has been a real pleasure staying here and now moving on to my final chapter in life.... retirement moving back to my house in Arizona! I am a solo traveler with my 2 pets and never did I worry about my safely. The people and more specifically the owner, Steve made me and my fur babies feel at home and welcomed. The washer/dryers are convenient and inexpensive (compared to every other laundromat I've used). The airport is behind the RV park and I was staying in the back row. Some days the airport was busier than others but it was never so noisy that it was distracting. There are a few great restaurants walking distance from the park. The park is very conveniently located to a lot of things and very easy interstate access. I have been away from Hollywood RV park for about a month now and I actually miss living there, but driving on the 405 every day for work became too much. If you are looking for a home to park your RV...Hollywood RV park is the place to go!
