There's a butterfly conservation area and a small little area with a gazebo surrounded by water. A bit of a dirt road in some parts of the conservation where I can see bike treads, so I assume a lot of people bike instead of walked around. I kinda got lost, but that was more on my part. While walking around, I realized how big this park was. It's 1 mile by 1 mile in area, but there was way more to see inside the actual park. I explored a lot and saw a bunch of different cacti and flowers. I went when it was quite hot, so a bit more bugs than I wanted to see, so I plan to go again sometime end of the month or even early November to see what I can find. A lot of cool colored dragonflies and some ladybugs too while on my walk. I think it would be a lot more enjoyable when there is a bit more greenery and walking in cooler weather. I plan to go again in the near future. I would recommend exploring the park more instead of just doing the outside 4 mile walk on the outskirts of the park!

We parked in the first lot that we drove by directly in front of the adorable Park Bench Cafe, which is located in the park. We walked the paved path from this location, which circled the large park.
