Green Park is a very nice park. Me and my girlfriend come up here sometimes to hang out. Lots of teenage skaters and bikers come up here to do their stunts and all. Lots of grass and sand. Parents bring their children here too. No bathrooms here so, that could be an inconvenience, but its still a great park. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PARK! Our Toddler, can safely explore both playground areas! Secluded, parking lot right in front of the playground, seating area, NO bathrooms. We've met friendly families & residences there! There's a basketball court, sand volleyball on the sides of the playground area & benches all around. My husband loves this park cause it's not 110% adult supervision necessary, he can stand on the ground without going up to watch our little guy. read more

We love this place! I love that there's no sand so it doesn't get dirty or in your shoes. The park is pretty clean and lots of benches and tables for everyone. There's also trash bins everywhere so you can throw your trash away without walking away from your kids. The parking lot isn't big but there's also street parking. The only downside to this place is that there's no bathrooms. So make sure you and your little one pees before going and bring hand sanitizer! read more

The only reason I'm giving this park 4 out of 5 is there are no inclusive play areas. Handicap children would not be able to enjoy this park like everyone else. That being said, it's overall a pretty awesome park. The playground is three levels with bars to the sky so you don't have to worry about anyone falling or getting hurt. They also have a smaller play area for toddlers which is nice! In addition a padded ground, that I absolutely love. It's turf is great if a child is running and gives the cushion if they fall. We have been to this park numerous times and look forward to our next visit. read more

It's a really nice park but the community did not take care of it. There are stains everywhere. People chewing gum and not tossing it in the trash becomes black and stuck on the ground. The seating area for parents is so dirty. It's sad that the community did not take care of it. There's a beach volleyball area and a tennis court. If it was clean, it would have been 5 stars. We love this park so much! It is such a large park! Had basketball courts, a large place to play in the grass. They have two areas for kids I assume for younger and older. Everyone is respectful for the most part in all the times that I have been here. There are two picnic areas where you can have parties or get together. On the end of it all there is a huge area to play in the sand! The big kids area has three levels of fun! Only down side is the younger children's area has duct tape around this climbing bubble to hold it together which seems pretty scary! That's why I give it four stars. But other than that it's a great place to take your children to play! read more

Very big and relaxing park. I have gone during the week and on a weekend and both times the park wasn't too packed. They have different picnic areas with shade if needed. They have a playground for older kids and for younger babies. I noticed they have a tennis court as well. The big kid playground is very cool. Definitely my go to park to take my daughter. read more

I've passed through this area many times on the way to DTHB and never knew there was a park hidden right behind 5 points. HUGE space for the kids to run around & lots of parking in the lot & the street. Two sections of covered park benches to rest or hang out. There's 2 jungle gyms for different age groups, a swing set that seats 10(?) across & the bulk of the playground has that springy ground for shock absorption aka kids falling down. Only downsides I see is its not great for older kids...but by that time they're probably not going to want to go to a playground anyway. Also, there are no bathrooms or water fountains. Peter Green Park is one of the newest, and most kid-friendly parks in Huntington Beach. It features a playground of fun interactive stations, an upscale covered patio barbeque and tables, a tennis court, basketball court and volleyball court. The park is a public park and can be accessed by anyone. It is located on Promenade Street near Main and Gothard. This park is great for kids. They have an area for toddlers, and a much larger playground structure which is perfect for the bigger kids. It really covers activities for all ages. In Hunington, I would say this is one of the best parks we have for kids. -BIG Negitive no bathrooms on site!! read more

This park is great for toddlers. My son is at an age where he is curious about everything, wild, fast and constantly falling and climbing things! This park is clean and very spacious! There's no sand or wood chips on the playground floor and there's not much concrete either! So if the little one falls he won't scrape his knee too bad or feel a big shock from falling! There are age appropriate activities and even the playground equipment has toddlers in mind. Rock climbing wall has openings at the bottom for your crawlers, the normal swings are very low to the ground, and there is a volleyball court next to it filled with sand if you did want the sand option for some sensory play! There are also shaded tables and plenty of room for many many kids to play at this playground without feeling overcrowded or being too overwhelming for your babies! Overall, this has been my favorite playground I've found so far! read more

Really cool neighborhood park. Definitely a dope spot to throw a birthday bash. They have 2 two shade table picnic spots that's available. This park has everything! A mini jungle gym for toddlers, huge double decker jungle gym for bigger kids, basketball court, tennis court AND a sand volleyball court. WOAH! Like any park though it is rusty and sandy. Nice grassy areas and sand volleyball court (never used). But playground is in desperate need of a little maintenance. The wonderful squishy-soft, rubberized playground covering is fantastic (and a great stress relief for parents), but it is breaking apart in many locations (not just in high use spot-specific areas). The playground equipment is in decent shape, except that the big twisty tunnel slide is closed due to a large crack near the bottom. Also, since the equipment is dark blue plastic, it gets way too hot in the sun...Would be really wonderful to have shade sails or other overhead shade structures to help allow kids to play a bit more protected from the sun and enjoy the equipment at all hours. Other play equipment is cool (fire truck/"monster truck"), and the awesome concrete turtles end up in the shade from the two picnic structures. Parking is more than adequate, and off-street, which is nice. I really wish that dog owners would pick up after their pets!!! So gross to play in the grass and come across dog stuff. Please be responsible (and this is true everywhere, not just at a playground/park). Note, there are no restrooms here, which is a bit odd for an otherwise well equipped park (others noted to avoid possible homeless issues). All-in-all a nice place for family to stretch their legs and imagination, until it is potty time. read more

This is our favorite park in the area. It is very clean, has a big playground for older kids and a little playground for toddlers as well as plenty of kids. I really enjoyed this park with my 2 year old. He played mostly in the volleyball sand pit and then in the smaller of the two structures. I loved how both structures didn't have giant wide openings where he could accidentally fall through. Also, the covered seated area is a great place to gather. As my 3 year old boy would say' "this park is amazing"! We were visiting family from AZ and stopped by this park to let the kids let loose. They had a great time on the multiple playgrounds and swing sets. This park also has pergolas for throwing a birthday party, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts. Another big bonus is that the complete playground is covered in that cushioned foam material so no one gets too hurt. This a great park for kids and would highly recommend it. read more

This park is very clean and super fun! Yet I ran into some pretentious parents who weren't friendly. Their child pushed my 19 month old out of the way while he was walking up the stairs and didn't give me a courtesy "sorry bout that" just looked at me and carries on. One of the slides are broken and looks like it hasn't been fixed in weeks. The ground is made up of recycled rubber which is awesome yet there are TONS of holes everywhere and are potential tripping hazards. Finally, no bathrooms big disappointment. read more
