Waterfall and lake at Native Falls campground.
JK A.

Beautiful location. Great place for kids. Brought our teenage granddaughter here and rented a paddle board. She enjoyed taking it around the lake. We didn't camp, just came in on a Day Pass, but the camping options look great here.

I love this place!!! We stayed for two nights and tent camped near the lake. It's clean and everybody here is really cool and the kids are having a ton of fun playing on the trampoline that floats in the lake.

Great stay at this campground in our motorhome We camped with our group 12/30/25-1/2/26 to bring in the New Year. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The campground was clean. It rained 90% of our stay so it was very muddy as sites are dirt rather than gravel or concrete pads. Will return during drier weather.

We camped here last summer in a tent and loved it, came back this summer in our new pop up trailer camper to one of the full hook up sites. Staff is great, guests are great, everyone's friendly and most importantly the campground is , beautiful with the lake and so many activities. Clean bathrooms, free shower, free grills to use, trash etc. Would recommend 10/10. We'll be back soon!

First time coming and it it's full activities to do. Really great for the kids . Came for a perfect weekend get away

We've stayed at Native Falls twice, once in a cabin, and this time in a tent. We'd much prefer a cabin, but they were sold out by the time we booked. The cabins were clean and included everything you need for your stay, including linens, pots/pans, utensils, etc. The air conditioner was a nice break from the heat. We also stayed at a Safari camp site. The site was in the middle of a trailer section, which was weird. It had no water, no table, no BBQ/firepit. There are sites with those amenities, but ours was not one of them. Since I booked last minute, I did not have a choice. The pond was great. The trampoline was fun, and it was nice to have access to the boats and kayaks to rent. We set up our EZ up on the sand and stayed all day. The kids enjoyed the water and playing in the sand. We also took a little hike on the property and used the community fire pits to make smores. So fun! Overall, we'd definitely cone here again, but we'd book far enough in advance to get a more desirable spot than a Safari tent site.

This is a hidden treasure for everyone to explore and enjoy for all ages. Honestly the selfish part of me doesn't want to speak of this place on public forums due to the concern of availability for years to come. It's like a resort and a tucked away camping oasis conceived and imbedded all the smaller details that people love while getting away from the day to day grind at home. Customer service and upkeep of the entire facility is immaculate, it's above whatever I had in my head originally before arriving. Your family and friends will forever be grateful for inviting them or sharing this experience for life. Would post more pics of my family enjoying the visit but that's something I'll keep for myself and fb , lol. Cheers

Great campground. We are definitely coming back. You can see and feel pride of ownership. There are quite a few amenities the place is just so cute.

Ask the Community - Native Falls Campground

How clean would you rate the water on a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the cleanest? Thank you.

For a lake , I would definitely rate it a 5 in clean, fresh and cool!

Do the rv sites have fire pits?

There were a few but I didn't see that all did. I'd inquire about the exact sites with the admin office. There are a few community pits that seemed to be available most of the time.

How is the bathroom for tent campground?

The restrooms are decent. I stayed in my trailer about a month ago. But when we were exploring I used the restrooms. Obviously didn’t try the shower but the restrooms were clean

How late can you arrive?

You can arrive as late as you like once you've received your arrival email, that will have all the info you will need to gain access to the park and/or cabin

How many cars are allowed per campsite as well as cabin?

We allow 1 Vehicle per RV Site and 2 Vehicles per Cabin. (A motorhome, Class C and Sprinter Van are considered 1 vehicle for RV sites )

Do the campsites have fire pits?

They have 2 fire pits in the main courtyard. But not at the campsites

Is there a store or snack shop?

There is a cute little store about a mile down the road

So excited to see the renovations. How dog friendly is it? Can the dogs play anywhere in the lake, For example throwing the ball in and letting them chase it?…

Hi Kathye! Absolutely! We love having dogs play in the lake too! We just ask guests to be mindful… Read more

We stayed in an older more developed part of the campground and it was semi ok. Sites were tight but clean. Had all the hookups and a fire pit. But it was loud. Neighbors across from us in the center portion of the section were obnoxiously loud. We could hear their conversations clearly because they were yelling across camp sites (they were a group traveling together.) And I'm all for fun, but show a little courtesy. And one night, they illuminated the entire campground with what can be only described as the sun. It's the brightest light I ever seen. It was stronger than movie studio lights and they had it raised high on a pole so it shown down on the entire area. It's the first time I almost went to another camp site and told someone off. Our site was at the base of a hill and you could see our shadows against the hill the light was so bright. I had to move our car to block the light. I ended up not going over to their site and they finally turned it off. Unreal. Then the music from the restraint area was blaring until 10p. Electric bikes and golf carts were everywhere as well. It's a huge campground so I get people need them but they're a little dangerous in the evening. The bathroom stalls were flooded and the showers had holes in the walls and were very run down. I had great time with my wife and our dogs, plus we had nice neighbors on either side which was good, but I don't think we'll be back. For the money there are better options. I'd suggest this KOA fix up the bathrooms and put some courtesy rules in place. I still can't believe those people with light.

There's a dog park, a dog washing station, a laundry room, showers, a pool, picnic areas and hook ups for water, electricity and sewage. I felt at ease. I couldn't wait to come back... Unfortunately things changed and broke my heart. My suv was experiencing power steering issues so security was kind enough to allow my partner and I to gather up some items at auto zone and work on our car in an empty area of the Pala parking lot. As my partner was finishing up, I told him we may as well just pay for another night at the rv resort so we could use their showers because he was covered in sweat and car fluids. I walked over there and spoke to the nice young girl I had communicated with earlier and told her I'd like to reserve another night and I'm happy to pay (my stay was comp'd due to my player status at Pala Casino). Her reply was "I understand but unfortunately your RV is not allowed to be at our resort anymore. We cannot accept it. The photos you submitted were not the same as what we saw in person." See, I had to get my RV approved to even be allowed before I arrived because of the year (1998). I sent in good pictures of course with great angles... I want the vehicle to look as nice as possible. It was the motorhome version of "you can't sit with us" from mean girls. I was stunned. I'm still stunned. We fit in with every other person there at the resort. I'm sorry our motor home wasn't 6 figures. But it's not an eye sore by any means. It's just not a crazy luxury one like the others that surrounded us. I mean, one of the neighbors admitted his vehicle was $400k+ and invited us to come in and look around. It looked like the Taj Mahal without exaggeration. I know my face fell and I simply replied "...oh..". The girl then goes "I see your stay was a casino comp, can't you go to the hotel?" I was mortified. I just said "yeah... I guess." And I walked away. And I cried. Apparently because my RV isn't brand new and expensive, I am undeserving of a nice, comfortable place that feels like a second home to visit with my loved ones and our humble motorhome. Weeks pass and after my partner spoke to the manager, she let him know that two things needed to be fixed on our Class A: the awnings and the apparent unsightly what appeared to be small areas of "rust" towards the top of the RV. We went ahead and removed those issues. I proceeded to attempt to book a few nights there and I received a response stating that although they appreciate us fixing the cosmetic issues, now apparently we are told from our last visit, either the RV or my Mercedes SUV left a, once again, unsightly oil or liquid substance behind on the pad where we were parked. And I quote, "To stay at the Pala RV Resort, all vehicles must be well maintained and in good running condition. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate a stay at this time". Honestly, I don't know why I continue to become shocked by the types of responses I receive from this place. I don't know what kind of training they're given but the elitest vibe and the "you guys aren't good enough" attitude shot back at adults who are just trying to find a comfortable, safe and pleasant area to reside for a few days in our motor home along with our sweet dogs is just so unnecessarily rude, cruel and demeaning. Is the upscale reputation being upheld far more important than respect, kindness and a helpful, welcoming vantage point? In conclusion, as long as your trailer or motor vehicle is pristine, less than 20 years old and you are upper middle, upper class or better yet, a one percenter, this place is PERFECT for you, all your needs will be met, respect will be given to the utmost degree. If you are anything less than that, go find yourself a spot in a Walmart parking lot or the bureau of land management because you won't have a place for yourself here... well, you may get a "pass" for a stay but then you'll be reminded how unworthy you are to be in "such a high standard establishment." Above offended and angry, I'm hurt, upset and appalled by the way this has been handled. Thinking of these interactions actually gives me a great discomfort in my stomach and it's a shame.
