Amazing place for a family getaway! We had such a great time here. One of the things we loved most was how safe and relaxing it felt for families with kids. The children could ride their bikes around freely and enjoy the outdoors, and the lake was perfect for supervised swimming and playing. There is a huge aggressive raccoon that almost attacked my husband and the campground refuses to even put a trap out after the thing has come back 3 nights in a row and came within a few feet of my son saying they cannot do anything to guarantee our safety. With small children running around this is a serious safety issue. The lady at the front laughed in my face and insulted me asking where I was from. On top of that they decided to start cutting trees at our campsite while we were camping. Couldn't even access my children after coming back from the bathroom. The workers are now harassing us parking in front of our site to intimidate us. BEWARE. CAMP at your own RISK this place does not care about their guests and will do nothing to ensure safety. UPDATE: Shortly after posting my honest review, campground management informed us that we were no longer welcome because of the review we left. Instead of addressing the serious concerns we raised, they chose to retaliate against paying guests for sharing their honest experience. I would like to add that the front desk lady informed me this was an ongoing problem and it was not just our site that was having aggressive raccoons, in the midst of insulting me. Therefore, the problem couldn't be fixed by moving sites, which would have been a half a day task, at minimum for me being alone with 5 children even if moving could solve the problem. It clearly was not a solution either way with it being a widespread issue. This tells me everything I need to know about how this campground operates. When confronted with legitimate criticism, management's response was not to fix the problems. Their response was to remove the customer. We reported ongoing safety concerns, including persistent raccoons repeatedly entering campsites and approaching campers. Rather than taking meaningful action to address those issues, management decided the problem was the guests who spoke up. If this is how they treat customers who leave an honest review, imagine how they handle complaints that are not made public. I stand by every word of my original review. This update is based on what management told us directly. Other campers deserve to know that leaving an honest, unfavorable review may result in being told they are no longer welcome. Businesses build trust by addressing legitimate concerns, not by punishing customers for speaking honestly. This is our second stay and it couldn't have been more different. The cabin smelled awful when we checked in and we had to air out the place for a few hours to get rid of the worst of it. There was food in the fridge when we arrived, and the floors were dirty. I didn't expect that we'd need to clean the cabin in order to use it. They were doing heavy construction throughout the campgrounds, including directly in front of our cabin, waking us up each of the mornings we were there. It was difficult to use the amenities available, and we ended up leaving early because of that. The campground lost WiFi early in our stay and it was still out when we left. Seeing as how the TVs in the cabin depend on the WiFi, they were unusable. Our issues were met by shrugs from the management. Would not return read more

We stayed in one of the cabins, while our son ad his family stayed in Safari site#1across from us. Unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The raccoon problem was much more than we expected. We understand wildlife is part of camping, these raccoons were extremely aggressive!! One kept circling our campfire and my son did not feel safe with the younger children. . Clear posted signs would be a option warning of possible aggressive raccoons. The other thing I didn't appreciate were landscape workers blowing and pushing tree brush toward my son's campsite. Definitely need for improvement at Native Falls. read more

When we got there it looked like we were going to have an amazing week. However the first night we were kept up by raccoons digging in our supplies and the abundance of ticks all over the tents and kids clothing kept them up scared all night.. Day 2 tree removal company started cutting trees completely Blocking the entrance of our campsite as we were camping.. That night was another raccoon & tick raid.. this time it walked right up to us and as I tried to spook it away from the kids it charged at me. Day 3 left my family to go to work and by that afternoon my wife was getting uncomfortably stared at by the camp site tree removal company that parked right next to our site again. I called and left a voice message for the front desk to inform them of what had been going on and ask if we can get a trap put out as well as have these peeping-tom's cut the trees down after we depart the camp site. My Wife went to the front desk to inform them about the aggressive raccoon and ask for a trap to be set out. The lady was extremely rude and said they are not responsible for our safety and instead of addressing the problem laughed and asked "where we were from" whatever that is supposed to mean.. We are American. So my Wife left an honest review. Within hours a man claiming to be management approached my wife and asked her and my 5 kids to leave immediately due to the negative review that my wife just left. I'm two hours away at work during this nightmare and haven't even gotten to enjoy the site yet as I had to work the first 3 days. Its just sad that these owners don't actually care about their customers' safety.. We are not difficult people at all and I never even leave reviews but this was a crazy nightmare.. We just asked for a little help by setting out a trap. This is a risk and if it had been another dad, he might have had to traumatize his kids killing it or even worse it attacks some kids.. read more

Staff is great, guests are great, everyone's friendly and most importantly the campground is , beautiful with the lake and so many activities. We had no idea this was here until a friend of ours told us about it. It's an absolute hidden gem. Our kids had the best time. We didn't even bring tablets or devices and they were occupied the whole time. They rented a boat, they swam, we went on a small hike, we sat around the campfire. It rained 90% of our stay so it was very muddy as sites are dirt rather than gravel or concrete pads. Will return during drier weather. read more

We've stayed at Native Falls twice, once in a cabin, and this time in a tent. We'd much prefer a cabin, but they were sold out by the time we booked. The cabins were clean and included everything you need for your stay, including linens, pots/pans, utensils, etc. The air conditioner was a nice break from the heat. We also stayed at a Safari camp site. The site was in the middle of a trailer section, which was weird. It had no water, no table, no BBQ/firepit. There are sites with those amenities, but ours was not one of them. Since I booked last minute, I did not have a choice. The pond was great. The trampoline was fun, and it was nice to have access to the boats and kayaks to rent. We set up our EZ up on the sand and stayed all day. The kids enjoyed the water and playing in the sand. We also took a little hike on the property and used the community fire pits to make smores. So fun! Overall, we'd definitely cone here again, but we'd book far enough in advance to get a more desirable spot than a Safari tent site. read more

This is a hidden treasure for everyone to explore and enjoy for all ages. Honestly the selfish part of me doesn't want to speak of this place on public forums due to the concern of availability for years to come. It's like a resort and a tucked away camping oasis conceived and imbedded all the smaller details that people love while getting away from the day to day grind at home. Customer service and upkeep of the entire facility is immaculate, it's above whatever I had in my head originally before arriving. Unbelievably disappointed!! I booked a campsite for my boyfriend and I for one night. We'll we arrived and i left crying because of the "camping" site. They have is a strip of "camp sites" on the side of a very busy road by the stop sign!! In addition to the speeding cars, the sites are all extremely close together with absolutely zero privacy to have a "camping experience" I cried so hard after driving all the way there just to go back home within 10 mins of arriving. I paid some around $65 for that?!?! The camping sites are so close together that someone was a little too spread out and into our supposed to be site, to add to insult the site is not flat for tents, its on a slant!! I cannot express enough the dissatisfaction and complete shock how this camp ground was is set up. The website is lying to unsuspecting customers. No where do the pictures depict highway camping. You could just camp on the side of the road and pay for a day pass to this place and get the same experience. And of course to get your money back you have to cancel 7 days before you arrive to see the shocking reality of what you booked. read more

At first glance, Native Falls Campground truly impressed us. We were warmly greeted by Ginger, and Matt left us with a great first impression. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the setting is peaceful and scenic. A special shoutout goes to April, the vendor selling coffee and shaved ice--she's an absolute gem and, honestly, one of the highlights of our stay. Our cabin was cozy and had everything we needed, but we quickly discovered a few issues that impacted our experience. First, there were roaming ants inside the cabin--not a dealbreaker, but definitely unpleasant. More frustrating, though, was the overly sensitive smoke alarm. We couldn't even cook something as basic as bacon and eggs without setting it off--even with windows and doors open. This made meal prep a hassle. The real issue, however, was the lack of reliable customer service and support. Our friends were locked out of their cabin, and despite calling every number listed--including the emergency number--no one answered. We also tried the website chat feature with no response. Hours passed with no help, and no one followed up until the next morning, around 9 AM. That means they were left completely stranded for nearly 12 hours without any assistance. Even now, five days later, they haven't received a call or follow-up from anyone at Native Falls about the incident. This lack of responsiveness and accountability is inexcusable, especially for a place that presents itself as a welcoming, guest-focused retreat. What if someone had a true emergency? I genuinely wanted to love this place. It has so much potential. But due to the poor customer service and nonexistent emergency support, I won't be returning--and that's really disappointing. read more

Paid a hefty ampunt for two nights on the hilltop. The house was real nice. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The kids had a blast. My only issue was 1. None of the exterior lights worked. 2. The spa didn't work night one but night two it worked "alright" didn't get hot just warm. 3. The drawers with all the utensils had no knobs and it was a little difficult to pry them open. Also, be cautious with the master tub the water got extremely hot and zero cold water. Night two it was fine. Campers below hit breakers lost power for 30mim during check out, no Biggie Matt from service is great and fixed it! None of these are major issues but for the price I paid I feel like the amenities should have all been fully functional. Still like Native falls, will return but not in the big house. read more

My family and I tent camped here this past weekend and had the worst (nonexistent) management experience. Their EMPLOYEES hosted a Halloween party in the cabin close to my tent site that continued to play loud music and people yelling till 4 in the morning! Mind you the camp rules state quiet starts at 10 pm. At 1 am my husband went to the cabin to ask them to quiet down and someone tried to get PHYSICALLY VIOLENT with him. Then I proceeded to call the "after hours/emergency" phone number 10 times to no answer. Then at 3am I had to go ask again for the party to be quiet. My husband, my two young daughters and I didn't sleep at all that night. I then sent a email hoping to get a response. The most upsetting part was that I never received a call back, not a follow up email, nothing. For $80 a night I expected so much more. Also I hope you don't have to do laundry because the office won't give you change for your dollars because she couldn't be bothered to open a roll of quarters. I'm giving 2 stars because the gentleman who runs maintenance during the day was very sweet and the older lady who stays on site was also very nice. read more

A pond with a beautiful view of a waterfall, fishing, paddle boards, kayak's, paddle boats and water trampoline all for your use while visiting. A beautiful nature/ native hike trail that crosses a bridge up into the rocks while exploring Native creations. We just wrapped up a family weekend at Native Falls and honestly--it was exactly what we needed. My wife and I brought our three kids (ages 5, 8, and 11) and stayed in one of their RV sites near the lake. The kids are already asking when we can come back. The Highlight Today: Paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake were the biggest hits. The water was calm, the sun was out, and it felt like our own private little oasis. There were enough boards and kayaks to go around, and the staff helped us gear up quickly. Even our 5‑year‑old got in on the action (with a life vest and a tow from Dad, of course). What We Loved: The lake area is well set up for families--clean beach, floating play equipment, and just the right depth for kids to feel safe. There's a lot to do beyond the water: shuffleboard, playground, trails, and plenty of green space to let the kids burn energy. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean (at least in the upper section near the Oaks). Staff was friendly and seemed genuinely happy to help. What Could Be Better: Tent sites are a bit close to the main road and get some noise, so I'd stick with RV or cabin options if you have young kids. Bring your own groceries--it's a little drive into town if you forget s'mores or hot dogs. Some of the lake equipment could use minor repairs, but nothing that took away from the fun. Dad Tip: Get to the lake early in the morning--it's peaceful and you'll beat the crowd for paddle boards. Overall: This place hits the sweet spot between rustic and family‑friendly comfort. We spent the day here, visiting friends who rented a cabin for the weekend. What a hidden gem! It was so cute. The kids swam in the pond for 5+ hours, and would have stayed longer! We brought floaties for the pond, enjoyed the floating trampoline and the paddle boat rental. The space was small but clean. My son enjoyed catching fish and tadpoles all day with his net.
