Love this place! View is amazing fire pits on every night staff is great thank you! Santa's village is across the street and lake arrowhead is 12 minutes away!

stayed one night at one of the tent sites. it was so awesome and the view was great! bathrooms are a little bit far from tent sites. but the fire pits and friendly people were so nice to experience. would definitely come back again.

We stayed in the Airstream at SkyPark and overall had a good experience. The camper itself was well-furnished, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. However, I was a bit disappointed with a few things. When booking, the website didn't offer clear pictures of the outdoor areas for each camper. I chose Camper 6, and unfortunately, it had the smallest outdoor lounging and dining space. I came with my children, who brought several outdoor toys they were excited to use, but there just wasn't enough room to enjoy the space comfortably. We also had issues with the outdoor chairs -- we tried to move them to make more room and because they were causing splinter on my children, and they broke. Lastly, the propane fire pit, which was a great feature in theory, kept going out at night and needed to be relit every few minutes, which became frustrating. With a few improvements and more accurate online info, this could easily be a five-star stay. Still, we appreciated the cozy setup inside and the kindness of the staff.

Great View along the edge.

My wife & I really enjoyed this campground over the July 4th weekend. Even though the site pads are smaller we found it to be plenty of space. Quiet at night and the sites are just far enough apart to feel like you're not in someone else's site. The camp hosts were very friendly. The facilities are clean & well maintained. My wife & I are not the adventurous couple and we still found it to be a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely return for another visit! Couple very very minor issues that are completely out of the camps control. The wind can come up and since you're right on the rim it can be gusty at times. Also there are wild flowers everywhere so we did notice lots of bees doing their thing. Again nothing the camp can do about these issues but just something to be aware of.

Firepit, sunset right were we camped! It was beautiful & a nice but close little get away for our family.

We absolutely loved our visit. The staff on site was super helpful, informative, kind, & welcoming. Thank you for a great first time experience. Bathrooms all with showers, plenty of changing area, hooks on walls & benches inside to place your items & not on the floor (total plus) they were emaculant! We'll be coming back for sure. Our family is already planning our next visit & bringing friends/family to join us. Weather was perfect! Spaces @ the campsite were still available, it wasnt overly crowded. Fun activities for the kids to dress up & go trick or treating, scavenger hunt for kids thru out the RV park. By 9:30/10pm campsite was quiet & all you heard was nature.

What a gem in the forest and mountains so close to home!! We love the Skystream's for the glamping experience!! They don't come any more charming - everything is provided for that you can think of!! We love the beautiful sunsets and easy cooking and bbq at the camp kitchen!! We can play hard mountain biking and come back to camp, have a nice hot shower and relax at the campfire!! We will be coming back again and again!! Also the camp hosts Sydney and Cece are so helpful and friendly!! Thank you!!

This is directly behind our spot.

The camp spot was great. The Rv park is very clean. We didn't use any of the amenities so I can't comment on those. We will definitely come back!!!! We didn't go to Santa's Village which is across from the park, but if you have young kids they probably would love it, but for $50/pp is a little pricey. Skypark is beautiful.

Loved it so much we came back! This was our second time here, and we came with some friends and family. We rented the airstreams, and everyone loved it! We treated the kids (teens) to mountain bike lessons, and they learned valuable skills. I brought my new here and my wife's seriously upgraded hardtail, and these trails do not disappoint! I kept getting compliments on my bike. It's not even an e-bike. Regardless, this place is amazing. Sydney- the admin that runs the camp sites, is a godsend, #employeeoftheyear! The community bathrooms are always kept clean, and the floors have radiant heating!

Night time view from the community fire pits.

It was our first time RVing at SkyPark. It was a weekend storm so it was cold, rainy, and foggy but that did not dampen our stay. The staff are incredibly friendly, especially the RV host. She is full of energy and kind! The bathrooms are WELL maintained! They have showers in each individual bathrooms. Each bathroom is passcode protected. Showers are timed. Full hook-ups and well maintained as well. It was a beautiful 3 night escape and we can only imagine how gorgeous the views are during the spring and summer months. We stayed in camp site #27. The view was incredible, but given the storm, our trailer was shook with intense winds. Despite that, we really enjoyed ourselves. An enjoyable getaway with family and only 7-10 minutes from Lake Arrowhead Village!

Very effective heater and extra blankets

Do we need pay for the shower?

Showers are included as a complimentary amenity for camp guests. In our efforts to conserve water, please note that there is a 6 minute timer per shower cycle (restart if you need more time). Hope that helps!

Is there a good spot onsite for the kids to go sledding? We dont need anything fancy and long.

Depending on if the area has enough snow, sledding is available across the street at SkyPark at Santa's Village (weather permitting, camp guests receive 10% off Day Pass tickets) or you can go to Snowdrift Snow Tubing Park (approximately 10 miles… Read more

Hi! Does anyone know if all the RV spots have picnic tables?

Yes, all the site have very nice picnic tables-newer and moveable😁

Can you set up a tent in an RV spot?

Yes, tents may be set up in an RV site as long as they stay within the space (not on landscaping between sites).

9/7/2026 thru 9/9/2025…read more We come to Dogwood every year because we really Love it here. We do the hiking trail twice a day, grill some meats, take Hot showers before bed and sleep in tents. It is beautiful here, the facilities are clean and most importantly you can take Free HOT showers. This year we planned to stay two nights at Campsite #87. But left early, only staying the one night leaving around 1pm on 9/8/2025. During the night around 1am we heard someone or an animal walking around outside our tent. (We have Never experienced any kind of wild life animal or people walking into our campsite before. This was the first time this happened to us). The steps were light and almost human. The light grunting and chewing on what sounded like twigs or maybe acorns and light heavy breathing is what made us realize it was not human. But we were not sure and all of us were scared to look outside. After staying still and playing dead for two to three hours we finally fell asleep and woke up around 5:30am. And started our day. Went for a hike and came back to our tent / campground. HUGE Black Bear encounter. We got back to our campsite before 10ish, ate, relaxed and were drinking tea. When suddenly out of no where I saw a huge Black Bear just casually strolling into our neighbors campsite walking past their RV camper and headed we towards the garbage dumpsters or towards the Rimforest high school. We Jumped into our car and stayed there until the bear was out of site. Then we met with the Park ranger and let them know that we just saw the Black bear. Park ranger then confirmed that the bear was also here last night. And that that there was a Mountain Lion lurking around as well. So we had to be on high alert and if we see the mountain lion to hide or get in your car. I gave my family members one look and within one second we agreed to pack up and head back home. Although we know bears can be seen whenever you go hiking or camping. We never expected it to actually ever happen to us. So to be safe we had to cut our trip short.

Last year 6-year-old nephew got stung over 16 times one afternoon. They ended up having to take him to the emergency room and leave to go back home on the first night. I suggest if you're going to bring traps just incase to hang them around the site. Last year we set up 6 traps around the site and water spout. Each trap had between 50-over 100 in just 2 days. That would be my only complaint about this campground. The bathrooms are plentiful clean. They are serviced and refilled multiple times a day. There are free hot showers too. The sites are pretty shaded and depending on where you stay...some sites are small and others are nice and secluded. There are some sites with hookups towards the front of the campground. The camp hosts are attentive and give you warnings when wild animals have been spotted. We did have a black bear run through our site at breakfast one day but it just passed through and didn't bother us. Best local campground close enough to Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear.

For this most recent long three-day weekend in Lake Arrowhead we decided to finally give this place a try. We are two adults in our 30s with no kids. It is important to note that because honestly, this place is for children 10 and under. It is not for teens or adults. It is honestly pretty underwhelming if you are an adult, but it can be quite charming if you are a child. It is also $55 per person and $15 for parking which is a bit expensive, but I understand the inflated price due to the location and having to staff it. One thing about this place that is nice is they don't have a bunch of add-ons once you get inside, so you really do just pay one price unless you decide to get food as well. The other part of this park is specifically designed for people into mountain biking. They have six different trails ranging in difficulty from easy to difficult and about half of the visitors seemed to be doing that which we would go back specifically for. The activities for adults are pretty limited, so the main ones that we did were the bike in the air that goes around the rim of the property. This is the ride that you see in all the marketing and is the most popular. It was probably the most fun we had but it was honestly a bit scary once you get to the steepest point. It's about 50 feet above the ground so it would be quite a fall down. After that, we tried some archery and ax throwing which was surprisingly fun. After that, there was honestly nothing else that we could really do given our age and size so we headed out after that. This would be a great place to visit during December with children 10 and under because they do have Santa Claus and people in costumes and what not and each of the buildings is alpine themed and is very quaint. They also have a very large area that serves as a wedding location so I'm sure that is also another part of this place. There is a large free parking lot attached in front with EV charging available as well.
