I went there, to meet a friend and check out the place, it was ok, kinda small, there was a dj that started playing around 10am, the bartender was really nice, made me a drink, I don't know what it was called I really don't drink, so I asked for a drink that was more on the sweet side than alcohol, it was a Kool Aid type drink very good, food was very good, wings were piping hot would go back again. read more

I found this spot by accident, and I'm glad I did. It's less than a mile from my house. I ordered breakfast, and was very impressed. The French Toast was moist and fluffy, and the Omelet was very good. The prices are great as well. I went to another minority owned spot for breakfast, and portions sucked, and prices were way too much....not the Hideout!!! The prices and portions are great, so If you're in the area, stop in to this bar....I am sure you'll be impressed. I didn't get a drink, but they have lots of TV's and a Pool table. The Hideout is just that, a low key, but semi-classy roadside bar, tucked away in a strip center. You my drive by it and never know it is there. To start, let me say, it would be wrong to judge this book it's cover. Once you walk into the bar, you are greeted by the bar staff. The drinks are flowing and food is fresh and hot. Any bar where they hand pour the liquor is my attention. The bar is fully stocked. Happy is everyday at the Hideout. Moreover, their apps are devil-licious, especially the fried devil egg appetizer. The Tuesday Taco special is fantastic. Fried taco shell with rich Mexican spices. The fried pickles are a nice change up. I here many of the other menu items are sensational too. I've been to this place a few times and every time I come in the food is amazing and the customer services is great. They have an variety of flavors to choose from for the wings and the fried Devil eggs are great. They have karaoke, a live DJ, pool table, and comedy night every first Thursday of the month. A neighbor gem! Food is delicious and served hot, drinks are strong and the vibe is just right. If you're looking for a bar where everybody knows your name then look no further. Service can get a little hectic, but the bartenders are sweet and still seem to juggle the chaos quite well. Come here for HH, to play pool or watch the game i bet you won't leave here disappointed. Excellent little bar in Laurel. I stopped by at the recommendation of a friend while in route to Baltimore on a Friday night. I had a glass of wine but was more intersted in the food. I had old bay wings and the fried deviled eggs. WOW. FRIED DEVILED EGGS. They are a must have in this place. We stopped back on Sunday when leaving Baltimore to grab two more orders. The first time I came here my experience was flawless! So I live in the area and decided to come back; my drink were good. I ordered food for myself and a friend as I was leaving I specifically asked for beef nachos everything on the side as I knew I had a ways to go before I reach my destination. the kitchen put the protein in the cheese on the tortilla chips, which when I got to my point of destination they were soggy. Then to add insult to injury I ordered wings which were great the first time around but I guess tonight there was another Cook. I ordered wings, grilled lemon pepper, and the attached is How they came out they were burnt on the flipside the chips was soggy, so this didn't make for a great 2nd experience, especially being that I had to feed the alcohol that I ingested while I was there. Saturday night (9pm) was the first time me and my friend coming here and we were impressed. The music was on point ( hip hop and RnB) the crowd was mixed with young and mature, the people were friendly, it wasn't overwhelmed at all. However there was only 1 bartender which made the wait time a longer. Ladies night have a open bar however to me its just not worth it, I rather pay the money. This place is one of those good ol "hole in the wall"spots, but the food and the service is good. DJ Pino (went to school with him) definitely brings the noise when he comes through. I gave it 3 stars, for the reason that, I didn't see any security, nor did I see anyone being patted down or having their bags checked for weapons. Most places with a DJ usually charge you to enter, not H|O(which is a plus). They also didn't check your ID (but again, I was there before 10p, so maybe they do all of that after 10p). Surprisingly, okay bar! I had heard about this place and what it used to be under a previous owner/manager. I was looking for a different HH spot, so I said what the heck give it a try. He said he had just started a day or two prior, so I think that was more of a training issue. Please adequately train folks before they go live! The food: I tried the HH tots, fried pickles, and hot wings. All were hot and tasty. I'm a bit of a fried pickle snob, but these were done pretty well. They came with a spicy ranch, which was good. I want to try their burgers, as I heard they were really good. A regular confirmed this, so I'll try one next time. The wings and tots were standard fare. Pretty good. Overall, down to earth and relaxed atmosphere. The customers are pretty friendly and sociable. Most seemed to be regulars. Mix of straight and gay/lesbian. You could tell the gays typical paranoia and checking out every guy who walked in LOL. The DJ took over later in the evening and played a nice mix of old school. It was karaoke too. This is the perfect neighborhood bar. If you begin often you'll start to see the same regulars there and it honestly turns into you just drinking with family. The owner Gina is the sweetest and will immediately make you feel welcome. The music will always keep you moving in your seat, and the drinks will never stop flowing. Between her texting numerous times in kitchen and paying special attention to only one dude at the end of the bar (who Im assuming she knows personally), she said NOTHING. Didn't realize it was a bar so heading in to pick up the order was a surprise and they had my food ready but seemed confused and kept asking where I ordered from (yelp through another vendor). But the food was AMAZING. This was my cheat meal and worth every bite. Fried deviled eggs were great and I also got the sampler with wings, tenders and mozzarella sticks. I had asked for two different flavors with the wings and tenders. One came with old bay which I didn't order at all and the tenders with buffalo as I had ordered. You only get four wings and one was overcooked to the point it was barely a wing. Could have fixed the minor details but I still really enjoyed it and ate on this meal for two days.
