Just your average bar to watch a game. It's pretty small inside. I didn't try any food so I can't rate the food. The drinks weren't that pricey. I had a crown royal on the rocks ran me about $7. I went here on a Saturday afternoon it was pretty dead. Good music playing though. 90s hip hop I grew up on that. So that was a plus. All in all not a bad place to watch a game and grab a drink. Next time I will have to try the food. read more

WORST BARTENDER SO RUDE AND SEXIST YOU WILL ONLY GET GOOD SERVICE HERE IF YOU'RE A MAN. As a Laurel native I was so shocked that I have never heard of this spot! I saw they had a decent happy hour so I decided to check it out. WORST SERVICE EVER. The woman behind the bar had an attitude (only with me) from the moment I sat down. I ordered a drink and didn't like it and she told me she "can't do anything about it, the most she can do is add cranberry juice". At this point it was clear she didn't care to serve me or make my first experience there a good one. So I just ordered my food and waited. The bartender brings me my bill before my food even comes out... I look around and see she hasn't done this to anyone else, so I'm confused. I just let the bill sit there until my food comes. At this point I'm just trying to eat and go. So I do. I put my card down on the bill and all of a sudden her urgency is gone. I'm waiting to pay and she's walking right past me for about 7 minutes, but I wait patiently. She finally swipes my card when I notice that she charged me an extra $10??? When I try to get her attention to ask about it she pretends like she can't hear me. So then I ask a man standing behind me it automatic gratuity is a thing, just so she doesn't try to gaslight me, he says hell no. He also says that he's been going to this spot a while and noticed the bartender isn't very attentive or kind to young women who come in the bar. Now I look around and notice that the bar is full of older men. I thank him for his honesty and basically have to yell "EXCUSE ME" to get the bartenders attention. I point out she overcharged me and she pretends it was an accident (I've worked in the food industry, I've seen it all). She then tells me she accidentally put the man at the bar next to me's drink on mine... he had a rail drink which was $6 so that can't be true because you charged me $10 extra? She also charged the $10 AFTER I gave her my card and it was so clear I only ordered one drink and one sandwich. I would not let my husband go here after this experience. Somethings off. read more

The Hideout is the right name for this bar and grill. Tucked away in a shopping center, it's not very well lit or marked, so you may miss it. However, it was a cool vibe to get some drinks and bites with friends. Small bar area, a few tables and chairs. The other side had pool, but we didn't check that part out. The drinks are STRONG! You definitely get your money's worth and then some! The food was decent, nothing special, but it got the job done. Service was pretty good and definitely friendly. I hear they have a ladies night on Saturdays, so if I'm back in the area, I'll come check it out. read more

Vibes upon vibes in this place! I went on a Saturday night, it was kinda quiet but great for what I was looking for that night. The bartenders are amazing, very friendly and attentive and makes great drinks! The music was good and it was a great crowd! I ordered the fried deviled eggs with bacon and it was so amazing, unlike anything I've ever had before. I'll definitely be back! read more

The mambo wings, tenders, potato skin, etc. Is delicious. The drinks are good and the atmosphere is pretty chill for a local bar. Everyone knows everyone which means less drama. The service was great all the way from the security, DJ and servers. I def recommend this place if you are a local or not to go and hang out with friends to eat good wings and nice drinks. read more

I went there, to meet a friend and check out the place, it was ok, kinda small, there was a dj that started playing around 10am, the bartender was really nice, made me a drink, I don't know what it was called I really don't drink, so I asked for a drink that was more on the sweet side than alcohol, it was a Kool Aid type drink very good, food was very good, wings were piping hot would go back again. read more

I found this spot by accident, and I'm glad I did. It's less than a mile from my house. I ordered breakfast, and was very impressed. The French Toast was moist and fluffy, and the Omelet was very good. The prices are great as well. I went to another minority owned spot for breakfast, and portions sucked, and prices were way too much....not the Hideout!!! The prices and portions are great, so If you're in the area, stop in to this bar....I am sure you'll be impressed. I didn't get a drink, but they have lots of TV's and a Pool table. I will be back. read more

The Hideout is just that, a low key, but semi-classy roadside bar, tucked away in a strip center. You my drive by it and never know it is there. To start, let me say, it would be wrong to judge this book it's cover. Once you walk into the bar, you are greeted by the bar staff. The drinks are flowing and food is fresh and hot. Any bar where they hand pour the liquor is my attention. The bar is fully stocked. Happy is everyday at the Hideout. Moreover, their apps are devil-licious, especially the fried devil egg appetizer. The Tuesday Taco special is fantastic. Fried taco shell with rich Mexican spices. The fried pickles are a nice change up. I here many of the other menu items are sensational too. What is also a nice plus is that they host venue of entertainment. So basicly, there is always something need exciting happening at the Hideout. read more

I've been to this place a few times and every time I come in the food is amazing and the customer services is great. They have an variety of flavors to choose from for the wings and the fried Devil eggs are great. They have karaoke, a live DJ, pool table, and comedy night every first Thursday of the month. It's a black owned/women owned business. Looking for some good food and good drinks it's a great place to go. read more

A neighbor gem! Food is delicious and served hot, drinks are strong and the vibe is just right. If you're looking for a bar where everybody knows your name then look no further. Service can get a little hectic, but the bartenders are sweet and still seem to juggle the chaos quite well. Come here for HH, to play pool or watch the game i bet you won't leave here disappointed. I'll definitely keep the hideout in rotation! This place is budget friendly without skipping on good food and cocktails. You know sometimes you get one without the other. The wings, garlic fries and Quesadillas are delicious! I'll be back very very soon read more

Excellent little bar in Laurel. I stopped by at the recommendation of a friend while in route to Baltimore on a Friday night. I had a glass of wine but was more intersted in the food. I had old bay wings and the fried deviled eggs. WOW. FRIED DEVILED EGGS. They are a must have in this place. We stopped back on Sunday when leaving Baltimore to grab two more orders. Also, drinks are good and inexpensive. Good food, a nice vibe and drinks at the right price. This place is a true five star! read more

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this spot! The vibe is everything! We ordered some bbq wings, the cheesesteak and nachos. The wings were excellent! We even got extras to go! The cheesesteak was meh... the nachos were eh...wouldn't order again. We also had to go up and get our refills from the bar because there's not a server just the bartender. Never disappointing my fave wing spot. Hours only work for dinner wished they were open during lunch.

SO - I Was Actually SHOCKED At The End Reaction That I Had Upon Leaving Tbis Establishment. I Must Say That I Waa Pleasantly Surprised By The R&B/Hip Hop Vibe Of This Location! I Don't Know Why I Had The Impression That This Was A Country Style Typed Bar, But Boy Was I Wrong :) Drinks Were Tasty And The Food Was Satisfying For Sure. I Would Highly Recommend You Stopping Through To Check Them Out As I Thoroughly Enjoyed Myself! read more

Ordered pick up through Yelp, noticed that they had forgot one of my items but, it was totally understandable because I ordered two of the same thing, easily missed. Definitely out of the way! Came of a Friday and got the buffet. Great wings and fried green tomatoes! Will have to return again

The first time I came here my experience was flawless! So I live in the area and decided to come back; my drink were good. I ordered food for myself and a friend as I was leaving I specifically asked for beef nachos everything on the side as I knew I had a ways to go before I reach my destination. the kitchen put the protein in the cheese on the tortilla chips, which when I got to my point of destination they were soggy. Then to add insult to injury I ordered wings which were great the first time around but I guess tonight there was another Cook. I ordered wings, grilled lemon pepper, and the attached is How they came out they were burnt on the flipside the chips was soggy, so this didn't make for a great 2nd experience, especially being that I had to feed the alcohol that I ingested while I was there. I also call once I reached my destination and someone picked up and put the phone down then after holding for four minutes I hung up I called again several times for the line to be busy so if I could give a minus on customer service communication I would. read more

Saturday night (9pm) was the first time me and my friend coming here and we were impressed. The music was on point ( hip hop and RnB) the crowd was mixed with young and mature, the people were friendly, it wasn't overwhelmed at all. However there was only 1 bartender which made the wait time a longer. Ladies night have a open bar however to me its just not worth it, I rather pay the money. The cup was only a half of shot. its nothing I can do with that especially when u want to get tipsy lol. Overall we had a great time. We will go back read more

This place is one of those good ol "hole in the wall"spots, but the food and the service is good. DJ Pino (went to school with him) definitely brings the noise when he comes through. I gave it 3 stars, for the reason that, I didn't see any security, nor did I see anyone being patted down or having their bags checked for weapons. Most places with a DJ usually charge you to enter, not H|O(which is a plus). They also didn't check your ID (but again, I was there before 10p, so maybe they do all of that after 10p). Overall it is a nice local spot to chill at. read more

Surprisingly, okay bar! I had heard about this place and what it used to be under a previous owner/manager. I was looking for a different HH spot, so I said what the heck give it a try. I didn't realize it was a hole in the wall. But that is what it is. The bartenders were pretty attentive for what it is. The guy bartender was new, so he made a few blunders. He said he had just started a day or two prior, so I think that was more of a training issue. Please adequately train folks before they go live! The food: I tried the HH tots, fried pickles, and hot wings. All were hot and tasty. I'm a bit of a fried pickle snob, but these were done pretty well. They came with a spicy ranch, which was good. I want to try their burgers, as I heard they were really good. A regular confirmed this, so I'll try one next time. The wings and tots were standard fare. Pretty good. Overall, down to earth and relaxed atmosphere. The customers are pretty friendly and sociable. Most seemed to be regulars. Mix of straight and gay/lesbian. You could tell the gays typical paranoia and checking out every guy who walked in LOL. The DJ took over later in the evening and played a nice mix of old school. It was karaoke too. Added plus the bathroom was clean. All in all decent experience. I'd go back. read more

This is the perfect neighborhood bar. If you begin often you'll start to see the same regulars there and it honestly turns into you just drinking with family. The owner Gina is the sweetest and will immediately make you feel welcome. The music will always keep you moving in your seat, and the drinks will never stop flowing. It can get rather packed so either get there when happy hour is just starting or be prepared to stand. Either way you'll be in for a treat! read more

Was in there last Friday and it took the waitress 28 minutes before she acknowledged me. Between her texting numerous times in kitchen and paying special attention to only one dude at the end of the bar (who Im assuming she knows personally), she said NOTHING. WHat really pissed me off is this was not my first visit here, nor my first experience WITH THE EXACT SAME RUDE waitress. The bar itself is ok, nothing special, VERY small. The crowd is sketchy. The music is ok, except when the DJ plays old a$$ throwbacks back to back, WHEN NOBODIES dancing to it. The food is great, depending on who makes it. May I suggest the "Fried Deviled Eggs" prepared by the lady cook. Thinking they should market towards older people. Convenient but not a fan. read more

Don't let the outside stop you from coming in. The inside is small but very nicely decorated & very cute & has TVs Came here sat at the bar. Had a turkey burger which was surprisingly the best turkey burger I've had that was not cooked by me. The music was great! The drinks were strong!!(which is always great) The only thing negative I can say is the crowd got a little iffy. I think they should monitor how the crowd makes other patrons feel. To make sure everyone is enjoying themselves & comfortable. The crowd sorta took over the bar with overly loud convo & cursing & ppl soon left because they felt uneasy... Besides this it was great food & great drinks. Would stop by again for a quick bite. read more

Really really good carry out food. Didn't realize it was a bar so heading in to pick up the order was a surprise and they had my food ready but seemed confused and kept asking where I ordered from (yelp through another vendor). But the food was AMAZING. This was my cheat meal and worth every bite. Fried deviled eggs were great and I also got the sampler with wings, tenders and mozzarella sticks. I had asked for two different flavors with the wings and tenders. One came with old bay which I didn't order at all and the tenders with buffalo as I had ordered. You only get four wings and one was overcooked to the point it was barely a wing. Could have fixed the minor details but I still really enjoyed it and ate on this meal for two days. Will be back. read more

I enjoyed a handful of visits at the old PW's that used to exist at this location, but it was a bit dated and dank. The Hideout is newly-opened, newly-remodeled and full of life.
