Food, amazing. Service, phenomenal. Atmosphere, Happy Gilmore vibes . Food cooked correctly and soo delicious. Our server was Riley, she made us feel at home and did a terrific job. Very attentive and friendly with a side of great recommendations. 5 stars 10/10 would definitely go again. read more

We stumbled upon a restaurant within a golf course club. To start off with we were impressed with their old fashions being made with Woodford reserve! That was a plus. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with whipped mashed potatoes, cream gravy on the side and green beans. My husband ordered the Kobe Hamburger steak with whipped potatoes and green beans. We started with fried pickles. There was something about the batter that was out of this world. We loved them!!! When our food came... It was home cooking like we are at our Nana's house! Out of this world cream gravy that made me just want to drink it. It was so creamy and buttery good! And the fry on my chicken fried chicken not only was flavorful And the batter was deliciously seasoned! Cannot say enough good about this out of the way, not very well signed but beautifully executed food! We ended with two espresso martinis and a crème brûlée that makes you wanna slap your mama! Try this place out!!! Even if you don't play golf! read more

Had breakfast and early dinner here. Food was very good with efficient and courteous service. Nice casual atmosphere.

The food is really god here. This is the second time we have stopped here on our way home from Lubbock. The people are friendly, and yes, you can order seafood in the middle of Texas! All 3 of us were very happy with our meal. The view is nice and peaceful. read more

We were passing through town on a Sunday and this place was one of the only spots open. We were confused when the route took us out in the country, but this restaurant is a cozy spot on a golf course with great food. read more

Beautiful location nestled in the hills of central texas. Food was absolutely amazing and the chef Emi, rocked our meal. Will be sending friends back for food, alone! read more

Poorly executed food, sloppy and burnt. The servers at the bar were nice but they didn't send cocktail sauce with the shrimp cocktail. I asked about aus jus at the restaurant and they were out, so there also wasn't any aus jus either. read more

We were given a gift card for The Hideout by the Realtor that sold us the house on Lake Brownwood. Wife ordered the 8 ounce Filet pink in the midde, and I ordered a pork chop meal and a salad. We both had iced tea. We finished the salad which was good and then waited and waited for the main course. Meanwhile, teas was empty and no waiter asking if we wanted refilled. Food finally came and Wife's steak was tough and black. The pork chops were also tough and dry. Complaining brought bad attitude and excuses. Then to top off the evening, the gift card was for $30.00 - It covered the iced tea's. read more

American fare restaurant located by the lobby of the main building. Serves sandwiches, salads, burgers, wraps, tacos and appetizers for lunch with entrees starting at 5pm. Entrees include steaks, chicken fried steak/chicken, and some fish options from $13-$24. We ordered the pulled pork nachos which were delicious! Only thing to keep in mind is they melt the cheese vs using gooey cheese so it does get hard. Other than that it's worth an order and is seriously a mask in itself. The chicken ranch sandwich is juicy and the ranch gives it a savory flavor. It's served with your choice of sweet potato fries or shoe string fries. Delicious s well The best part of coming out all the way here is the view of the hill country and golf course on a nice day. Service here is excellent! read more

Disappointed once again. New supposedly "Certified" Chef is obviously just a warm body to fill a job. Previous chef was on his way to getting things to a high level and now things are lackluster at best. Cotton Patch and Chili's are a better choice. It's such a shame for such a nice facility to not have management that recognizes the need for a top quality Chef to make the dining experience worth the effort to return. I've heard it's the owners that are at fault for apparent ignorance on their part as to how to allow a good and proper manager to hire proper staff for success. Patrons are forgiving to a point then they just simply don't return. Not recommended. read more

Gluten Free Burgers and Fries It is safe to eat a burger if you're Gluten Free. They make them to your specifications and they are good. The staff is friendly and the service is great. The menu has plenty of choices for everyone to choose from and the prices are in line with other restaurants. We eat here about three times per month and have enjoyed every visit. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would!! WORST PLACE EVER!! Got there with my family and I asked the waiter a table for 4 and she told me there's not enough space here for y'all. THERE WAS A WHOLE SECTION OPEN!! We sat down at some table and they never took care of us! We sat there for 20 minutes and the waiter was just looking at us!! DO NOT COME HERE!! read more

Our first time at the grill, and our last time to eat most likely. Waited approximately 75 minutes for the meal after order. My plate had long black hair cooked into the batter, and my wife's chicken was burnt. Of course the manager was informed, and with an apology we received the full undiscounted bill, with the failure to discount changing a 4 or 3 star to 1 star. Well, although it's a beautiful area and has a nice dining room, I don't think we'll be back for the food. read more

Been twice for lunch in past 3 weeks. Good atmosphere for golf club restaurant. Food quality very good both times, too. Had Cobb salad w/balsamic dressing both times and would order again. Others in party enjoyed the pulled pork quesadillas and wedge salad w/pulled pork. Nice view from patio, as well. 1st visit had blond waitress who was efficient and personable. Visit yesterday had dark-haired waitress named Mary, who was not helpful and rude. We felt like we were inconveniencing her by being there. Would like to try dinner sometime. read more

We went there for my husband's 50th Birthday where an inexperience teen waiter did not take very good care of us. No refills & didn't check on us! The drinks from the bar were overpriced considering they were skimpy with their alcohol. The waiter didn't know the answers to any of our questions and failed to tell us you had to order sides to go with your entree so I had a piece of dry chicken for dinner and that's all. They got my brother's steak order wrong twice. Disappointed that the service and food didn't live up to the atmosphere. read more

Visiting the grill yesterday morning, I found myself surrounded by such a peaceful environment. With it having such a picture perfect scenery, I realized I was slowing eating so I could take it all in. Not only was our waitress blissful, the chef greeted us with a wonderful hello as well. They were both quick to answer any questions i had. Its wonderful to know they are adding on to all of this very soon. I'll definitely be coming back to experience it all. read more

Like the place. It's quiet in the people that are friendly. Prices on the food are fair the view Beautiful.
