This place is just great. Dipped in for happy hour on a Wednesday. Nice size crowd, a group in the lounge and a birthday party set up on the high tops. I found my way to the bar and pulled up a seat. Immediately created by Amber, the bartender. I don't know how she feels about being called a mixologist( is that cool anymore?) but she knew her way around some spirits! For my first drink she mixed me up a classic old fashioned. Nice balanced drink. I ventured through some of their other specialty cocktails. I just couldn't get enough! It has a good feel and attracts an interesting mix of people. And the location in an area of downtown Abilene that's being restored is fantastic. I came here to treat my friend on her 21st. She was excited to see that y'all offer a cold brew martini which has a similar foundation to an espresso martini. We came here on a Friday (technically Saturday) at 12:30 am. The hours on Friday and Saturday are till 1:00 am (according to Google), but to our surprise, all of the chairs were put up and they had already closed. This is not only an issue because the owners lose money, but it's also a problem for those who are dedicating their time to visit the establishment and are met with fallacious business hours. read more

I was super impressed with the drinks here! I was in town for a quick weekend and met friends up for drinks. I ordered their double old fashion and boy was it amazing! Went here tonight because my high school reunion was at the venue next door and they only had beer and wine and we wanted cocktails. Natalie was behind the bar and she took amazing care of us. We were in town from Saint Louis where I work at a craft cocktail bar. The drinks here were top notch. Haven't been to Abilene in 20 years and I was surprised to find a place of this caliber. What a disappointment. We knew Colby as a bartender over at Amendment 21. He's a great bartender and we looked forward to trying his new place. Maybe if Colby had been there the experience would have been better. We got two drinks. One was excellent. The other was undrinkable - totally watered down. The cocky bartender refused to replace it. I've never had a reputable bar not fix a drink. The music was loud, not good, and the vibe of the place was uncomfortably eclectic. We had high hopes for the place and it failed to deliver. The lounge is a very nice space and the decor is really instragramable! The drinks made by Colby are really solid. One can tell he has spent time on his craft and his showmanship is on point. It's a cool looking place in a secluded location.... that part is great. The line to get drinks was horrible- who wants to stand in-line for 15 minutes? They really should have a waitress. I know it's Abilene, but I hate to go to a nice place and see people dressed so casual. The drinks were hit or miss. For the money and atmosphere, I would rather go to amendment 21 - the pours are harder and the parking is better. read more

We sat down, 15 min later we were asked to move to a filthy table for a table that was "reserved" for 30 min later. Not sure why the table was open to begin with but not sure if I will frequent here especially with one bartender two thumbs down.
