I love the old, but sophisticated bar feeling. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. The Old Fashioned that I ordered was amazing!

They opened in April 2018 to find a hidden gem like this is Abilene Texas is amazing. They have classic whiskey cocktails, staff created cocktails and local and other popular beers on draft as well as some bottle beers. I had the Texas whiskey flight or (Tejas) I like the Rebecca Creek and the Balconi blue the best. The also have some appetizers available. Checkout the social media and website for upcoming events they have a lot planned in the next couple months. It was super busy after 7:30 on a Saturday. They need a few more servers but they will work that out overtime. (They had a mother bartender arrive at 8:30 so never mind) A great cocktail experience. I recommend a Sazerac for New Orleans flare or an Old fashion. The bartenders know their whiskey history so be sure to ask questions if your curious. This is a great location for a friends night out or that nervous 2nd or 3rd date. Remember to Uber or have a designated driver. I pass through Abilene here and there, and never expected to find such a gem. Was there on a Thursday night, and it was perfect. Not overly crowded, great service and great conversation. Nice selection of whiskeys and those rare finds. Will be back every time I'm in town. read more

Not what we were expecting. With the name, we were thinking it would be more of a classic cocktail, even speakeasy vibe, especially with the industrial area location. Instead, it was very rustic, honkeytonk. The chairs looked like they were repurposed from an old Cracker Barrel. There was some weird gold foil junk "decorating" the top of the bar shelves that resembled 1980s Christmas decorations. There was Hank Williams, Jr. and other old country music playing and only a few people there. The bartender was nice, though. read more

On a girls trip, my group (four 30ish year old ladies) hit up this place at 3pm on a Friday. We loved it! It has an old school, saloon, texas country feel to it. It was not very crowded when we were there given the time of day, so we got to chat with the two bartenders. They were nice and chatty and were so fun to talk to. After they made our drinks, we sat at a picnic table on their porch. It was a gorgeous day outside, so that mae their patio even better. I wish we could have stayed longer than we did (we were there about 1.5 hours) but we had to head out for dinner plans. I definitely want to go back next time i'm in town. read more

I usually go for the Manhattan or Old Fashion and both have been prepared well and more importantly, correctly. They also have a nice selection of local craft beers as well so there is something for everyone here. If you've never been, you must go! Hands down, best craft cocktail spot in Abilene and would also do really well in any city that you put them in.(my opinion) The location and atmosphere is great and the space allows for groups large or small. Cool place: beautiful space, fantastic service, so many options. My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday night for drinks before our dinner reservation at a local steakhouse, it was about 7:45pm. Though we were only one of 5-6 couples/groups, it began to really fill up shortly after we arrived. The space is beautiful, vintage-inspired, with original tin tile ceilings. The decor is rustic modern: exposed pipes and reclaimed wood. There is an outside patio that seemed to be super popular (even in the July heat). Service was excellent. We got wonderful recommendations on whiskey from the bartender, and continued prompt service throughout our stay. We didn't try the food, seeing as we were going to dinner. They have a nice selection of whiskeys, with a large number of rye, bourbon and Texas offerings, but also some of the most popular Scotch pours, Irish Whiskeys and even a few Japanese offerings. On tap they had a few local beers--and I mean "made in Abilene" local--as well as others. I don't see myself visiting the area that often, but I would 100% come back to Amendment 21 every time I do. read more
