Naw, just a bee keeper suit hanging around waiting for someone to buy. The back room is filled with quality makings for hives.

One week before they called me and scheduled our pick up date and time. The 1 hour drive down SR 135 was scenic once we got south of Greenwood. Downtown Morgantown has it going on! Local businesses, not chains, dominate the Main Street. When we walked into the bee store we found many more beekeepers waiting for the colonies to arrive. Apparently the bees are kept outside of town and brought to town inside this big box truck. Everyone was so nice while we waited for the 'NUC' boxes to be distributed. I spoke with a charter school teacher that lost 4 hives last winter and was picking up 4 more. She was driving a hatchback and I felt way better driving my truck with the bees outside the cab. Great experience, great people here!

Located off cedar creek road near the zoneton and Shepherdsville lines this family farm has very limited days and hour when they are open for business. Living not to far away from this place I've been wanting to try it for years. We finally made the stop in to his holiday season as we were gonna make Christmas Eve ribeyes for my in laws and wife family at our house. So we stopped in on a Thursday at 430pm as soon as they opened. You pull into a drive way and follow it back through a gate to the first set of buildings. You walk in and they have a spacious area with different refrigerators for your different types of meats. They also had eggs and jams and things in different areas. Truly a family owned business as when we walked there we met 3 generations of workers in the grandma, mom and daughter along with some other family members running Around. We purchased I think 7 ribeyes and they were priced very fairly. My wife actually said they was a few cents abound cheaper then big chains like wal mart and Meijer. So anytime you can shop local and save money it's a win win for everyone. The place does sale whole cows and pigs or portions of them at special pre designed cuts and prices. They also have some pre setup meal in bags like a steak and more breakfast that you can purchase. That like all of there food is purchased frozen so you have to still cook and prepare it yourself. We cooked up the steaks Christmas Eve night and they are delicious. Very good flavor and very tasty. So absolutely no complaints here. Overall glad we finally checked this place out. Now that we have and no they have good steaks and pricing we will have to try and be available during there limited hours of operation so we can keep supporting this local business.
