The sun bright and warm as it slowly set in the west. Lucy was our waitress, relatively new; she was kind, polite and helpful. When she didn't know something she had it checked out. We ordered a few drinks; I ordered a side salad with balsamic dressing ( good taste). For entrees we had the vodka plate, with slaw and sidewinder fries. The sidewinders are always good, especially fresh. I had the wings with side voo-doo sauce. She Mentioned it had a bit of a kick to it. The fish, slaw and fries were all good. My wings were good tasting and nice portion. The voo doo sauce was just right for me; hot, but not that hot it took the taste away. We struck up a conversation with a stranger from Nashville who was here for work. It's nice that people can be outgoing and have a nice side conversation Nice day, nice restaurant, good food, staff and a new acquaintance; doesn't get much better.

Brezzie ( sp ) was our waitress; she was totally spot on with everything. The setting was again awesome with a nice day over looking the river, the Louisville skyline and the bridges. Walking bridge was busy. Drinks were ordered and food orders placed. I had aside salad that was fresh, crisp, nicely crafted and tasty. Along with that I had the dry rubbed wings. So good and nice portion. My wife had the Reuben which was new for her (use). It was very, very good and well put together. I'm not a big Reuben person but I tasted it and it was very good! And when Breezie was busy another waitress perfectly slipped in to keep us well served. Their training is spot on. In my opinion this location probably has some of the best trained staff in the Clark County area. Not that others a bad this place just feels like a step up. Good food, service and view keeps us coming back!!!!

The menu rotates, but it's always a huge portion and so good. The dry rub Cajun wings are a must. The wraps are big and filling. I'm hoping they bring back the chicken salad sandwich h

The decor was fun with painted murals and designs covering every surface. I especially liked all the "climbing men" stationed around at various places. Agave & Rye Tequila and Bourbon Hall is mainly a taco place with a few other menu items. The tacos are not your usual run of the mil tacos and there are many delicious variations to choose from. Being a non-drinker, I can't give you any info on the alcohol, but they seem to be pretty proud of it. We did happy hour, 5$ mocktails, Pick 3 Chips and Dips, 15$, and the Three Taco Flight, 12$. It was plenty of food for the two of us and Eveything was delicious. We left just enough room for the huge piece of Chocolate Cake, $14. We ate the bottom two tiers and took the rest home. Yum. Kyondre (Dre) was our server. What a delightful young man. He was very helpful and pleasant, while checking in on us frequently. IMHO, Agave & Rye is well worth a visit.

The pick your 3 mini tacos is a good experiment with the different flavor options. Yoda taco- play on kung pao chicken- has the heat from the sauce, while the egg fried rice holds it together with the crunch of the peanuts. For a plain chicken taco - I would suggest the Chipotle Chika - honey comes thru with the chicken while the queso brings the rich and creamy flavors Service is lacking a bit- and hard to get refills on drinks. Overall a solid 3/5 for a small local restaurant.

Like I said, super appreciated. Just not on the same sheet of music. Second, went in on a busy day, had a waiter, took out order, brought our drinks, never saw him again. Went to the bar to ask for a fork to be told, we are out. My son and husband shared a fork, had to ask a random staff member for our check, no refills on drinks. Went back, employee got hurt, son is an EMT so asked if there was anything he could do, he was told no.
