We stopped here on our way home from Holiday World and I am so glad we did! The service first and foremost was incredible but let me tell the food was Amazing! There were five of us and every single thing we ordered was absolutely wonderful from the perfect creamy spinach dip appetizer with fresh made chips to my "on some high shit" DADDY'SBURY STEAK which was their burger, serv'd atop garlic smash'd potatoes. Topp'd with white cheddar, grill'd mushrooms, onions, peppers and brown gravy w a side of fresh asparagus and parm! Our serve did a great job even though they were really busy with large tables. I thought the over 30 TVs was a bit much. But I guess if you want to watch them they have it covered. Stopped in for the first time today for lunch. Ordered the double cheeseburger and was asked by the server (Justin, great server) if I had ate there before. I said no, and he said if you are real hungry go for it! I wasn't, and I'm glad I went with the single!! He was right on! The single was a big burger with a mound of great fries! Traveling I-64 and found this place. Very convenient location. The waitress was very friendly but forgetful. The food was only what I would say is average. I had the Daddy's bury steak and the burgers were cooked so well done they were tough. I had pepper jack cheese onions and pickles..basic. The burger was cooked perfectly, the bun was soft and my toppings were plentiful. One great meal! My ribs were not warm and the center of my pulled pork was cold. The fried macaroni and cheese was flat and couldn't be cut with a knife and fork. I was very let down especially for the cost. Flipdaddy's is a locally owned place that we tried for the first time on an evening after a tee ball game near Corydon. We arrived an hour before closing and normally I would never go in that close to closing time. We were sat right away and the place still had quite a few folks there. The decor was really cool as they had beer taps on the wall as you entered and bourbon bottles as chandeliers. Neat touch! Our server Danielle was incredibly friendly and even though she was busy, she took great care of us. Drinks never became empty and she gave us plenty of advice on the menu. We ordered the pickles as appetizer. They were excellent and I like that they did spears and coins for the pickles. We placed our order and I decided to walk on the wild side and have the PB&J burger. I've been wanting to try a burger like this for years and (upon recommendation from Danielle), I ordered it. THE best burger I've had in years!! Everyone enjoyed their food as we all got something different. They have a ton of variety in their selection of burgers but they also have other dishes and sandwiches if you're not in the burger mood. We never felt rushed while eating our dinner and the food came out perfect according to how we ordered it. Side note: they advertise the burgers being cooked medium well but you can request well done. We will be stopping at this location every time we're in the area as we love supporting local businesses that do a great job. Driving past and decided to stop for a burger. Holy cow. Best burger I've had in a very long time. I had the PB&J burger and hubby had a Fighting 44 burger. Mine was slightly spicy and sufficiently gooey. Just excellent. Fries were perfectly cooked. Hubby drowned his chips in vinegar. He loved his burger, too. Service was great. Service was great. When I walked in, I smelled a musty smell like smoking used to be allowed inside and the walls and floor were never cleaned. I ordered my "Hey batter batter burger and fries". Quickly seated and order taken. I ordered my burger medium and it was called out to the kitchen as if it was unusual. I heard waitresses call that out the same way for a couple other guests. "Another medium!" It was ok. Fairly dry. The whole thing was a little stiff. The fries were incredibly salty and I only ate a few. Payed and left a tip. Went to the men's restroom to wash my hands and it was horrifically disgusting and dirty. Stinky and I don't think the floor ever gets sanitized. Recently paid our first visit to Flipdaddy's and I really liked it! We were planning a day trip to the Indiana Caverns and wifey ran across Flipdaddy's so we thought "What the hell?" About a 45 minute drive from Louisville, Flipdaddy's is easy to find right off the expressway in Corydon. We had pre-perused the menu before we visited to we both basically knew what we were going to order when we got there. On this Saturday afternoon we were seated immediately and our server came to greet us right away. Since we had pre-shopped we went ahead and placed our orders when she took our drink orders. The restaurant was pretty busy, but not hectically. Our server was Courtney and she was great and very personable. She had a number of tables and did a great job of keeping everything under control. Flipdaddy's has a pretty laid back, welcoming atmosphere. There are a number of screens around the dining room with sporting events, but nothing obnoxiously loud or distracting. The overhead music was 80s, and I am OK with that! Dining options are a combination of booths and tables, with seating available at the bar as well. I don't know if fast food delivery is the norm for Flipdaddy's or we were just here on a good day, but we got our meals in about 10 minutes. I had the Chuck Norris. It was supposed to be spicy. It had a decent spice to it and I was hoping for more, but I'm not complaining because it was great the way it was. I opted for fries with mine and a side of mayo (why do I get weird looks when I ask for mayo with fries?). The fries were awesomely seasoned and H O T. As in, right-out-of-the-deep-fryer hot. The entire visible staff was busy and constantly in motion. From getting drink refills to taking orders to bringing food out to cleaning tables as soon as possible after it diners left, the staff was hustling. Courtney was awesome and on the spot with drink refills and stopped by to chat for a few. We were genuinely saddened when the table that was next to ours decided to NOT tip her. Not cool, dude and his son that thought she didn't deserve a tip. We were there for half of your visit and she did a great job for you. Our first trip to Flipdaddy's was great. We walked in to Flipdaddy's at about 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon and were seated right away. The waitress seated us and also took our drink order right away. They have Coke products, yes! I ordered the Philly Cheese Burger and my son and husband both ordered the Mac Daddy with a substitute of a regular bun in place of a pretzel bun. I had time to visit the restroom, came back and from the time we ordered to the time it was brought out to us was less than 10 minutes! It wasn't super crowded but I was surprised and happy with how fast it was. Burgers looked homemade and definitely not frozen patties. They were generous with the well seasoned fries on all of our plates. Taste was great. I sampled my husband's Mac and cheese with bacon topped burger and it was delicious. I expected loose and creamy Mac and cheese on top of burger but it's cooked along with it on grill. Mine had a generous amount of red and yellow bell peppers, sautéed onions and mushrooms. I loved it. A little greasy, but that fat gives it flavor. Cooked perfectly, so juicy! We'll definitely be back to try another different burger the next time we're traveling this way. I think I'll try the PB&J burger next time because a server there said he offers to buy his customer another burger if they don't like it and he's never had to buy one yet. The waitress was great, friendly and checked on us several times. We didn't have to wait at all for the check after she asked if we'd like dessert. We were too short on time for dessert but will look next time we're there. Pay conveniently and quickly at the table with her. The place seemed very family friendly and the restrooms were clean and 2 or 3 stalls. My son said the men's room was pretty cool with a beer keg as the urinal. read more

We give this between 3-4 stars. The food was good and had lots of burger selections. I got the BLTA and would have enjoyed it more if my avocados were ripe. The service was great and the atmosphere was good. There are TVs lining all the walls so if you have a kid that can't eat in front of a tv, might take that into consideration. read more

When you've been to some of the hell-holes I've been to you, you actually become more discerning, not less. I've been in situations where I thought I'd tasted my last drop of RC. Next day, crawled out, made some calls, ended up at the embassy that night with nothing but the clothes on my back. But I had my life; had my case. A nice layout, lots of booths. Great burgers. Something different in Corydon. The burger menu is huge. Kind of reminds me of Red Robin. The beer selection is huge too, probably the largest selection in Corydon. It was good. The hot chicken had a good flavor and had the right about of heat. The chicken was tender and juicy. The kids liked their meals too. The sliders do not have much meat on them so be aware. I personally like my fries and tots a little more crispy but no a big deal. They fried stuff had good flavor and was not greasy. The price was about right. Overall the food was good and the service was great. I know this place is busy for dinner so be prepared. There was zero wait lunch. I will definitely come back. I'm giving 4 stars because it's a chain restaurant and everything was good but my socks were not knocked off. A chain restaurant has to knock my socks off for 5 stars. read more

They have 48 craft beers on tap! Theres probably 20 TVS running ...& there grill area has an open-like concept.. & the food was bomb! Excellent food options & drinks too! This has just become our families favorite spot! We also ordered the Flipdaddy's Sampler Platter too. Which was incredible too!! Those flip stix are delicious!!! Oddly enough as plain-Jane as this sounds, the tater tots was cooked PERFECTLY! Not too crunchy, soggy etc .. Our waiter I believe, was Calvin maybe? He was awesome-sauce! The host at the front was funny & super personable. The fore front of a business is made by first your host & of course, how personable your waiter/waitress is too.. and the icing on the cake.. the food!!
