I loved their side dish of cornbread salad So Much and raved about It to one of the owners like a maniac. He was so kind to let me know his wife's recipe had been featured in a new-to-me food truck cookbook and I finally tracked it down on my Christmas wishlist! Woot woot! I continue to visit the locations (food truck around town and the building in New Albany) to get takeout orders of their burgers, as it's one of my fave local choices. I'm happy I can make this side dish at home whenever the craving hits though. :) read more

We got the angus beef hot dog with their award winning chili, shredded cheese and grilled onions $6.50 The booty burger: 1/3 LB hand patty burger, American cheese, house chipotle mayo, romaine lettuce, tomato, dill pickle on a toasted Brioche bun $7.50 I also got a side of chili cheese tators with Award winning Chili and shredded cheese $6.50 The service was great because of owner is great! I used to get my weekly hotdog at Five Guys. Not anymore. The Angus hot dog from Booty's is juicy and tasty and where I'm going from now on.

Food truck that provided food for our first neighborhood block party. A huge success. The vendor was so sweet in taking orders and delivering food in a short period of time, literally everyone I talked too enjoyed their food orders. We split a burger and loaded potatoes. Burger may have been the best I ever has. It was 1/3 lb of meat cooked perfectly, with bacon, lettuce tomato, and mayo. The potatoes were fresh, chucked with a cheese sauce. Piping hot and a bit of spice. It was a huge success and the neighborhood appreciated their service. read more

Ive been here several times and I'm always pleased. It's usually a crap shoot with food trucks but not here. Everything, from the burgers to the sandwiches to the sides is made with high quality ingredients. The catch is you are going to pay a price for it though it's not unreasonable (I've payed more for worse food at bars in the city). The staff was INCREDIBLY friendly. One of my favorite things about this truck is that they are open to experimentation. If you see something on the menu you can add it to anything else. I ordered the pulled pork sandwhich but dressed it with jalapenos, grilled onions and pepperjack cheese at no extra cost and they were happy to do it. I've had the deluxe burger, jamaican jerk and pulled pork and all have been good. The one criticism I have is their sides. They do not have many sides to choose from, it's just the tators which are not fried. I appreciate the healthy option (they're a roasted potato, no fries at all here) but after a few repeat visits I wanted more and its just not there. Overall this truck is great and definitely worth a visit. If you get the side of tators, go in for their queso as well, its surprisingly good. read more

I'm always in search of good burgers - you know the kind I'm talking about. Thick, juicy patty, crispy lettuce and a slice each of tomato and onion, fresh condiments, all stacked between two halves of a toasted, fresh bun. My mouth waters just thinking about a sandwich that good! "Get it on a Bun at Bootys" offers just that kind of burger. I was lucky enough to sample several of their offerings at a recent event and man was I blown away by the burger. Trust me, this one is worth tracking down! Thankfully, it may be that this burger is in your neck of the woods, depending on where the food truck is. That's right, GIOABAB can be found at various events and locations around town, especially with the warm weather coming up. If the burger isn't enough, might I suggest "Not your mama's nachos." It's your regular tortilla chip until they smother it with yummy pulled pork barbecue, homemade salsa verde, and queso blanco. The combination of sweet, spicy, and salty is to die for and way better than the traditional nachos that most food trucks serve. We used Get It on a Bun @Booty's for a work event. From day one Tammy was great to work with, she was always responsive and helped to ensure I accomplished what I needed to for my staff. She even made recommendations to the menu and catered to all our needs. I had a headcount of 50 people and everybody was full from the 1st round and didn't need seconds. The food is delicious, especially the Deluxe Burger and cheese sauce was a major hit. Pulled pork was very good as well, and my staff loved the Jamaican jerk chicken. Tammy's entire team was amazing and they did a phenomenal job. We will be using them again and I highly recommend working with Tammy and her team. read more

I'd heard good things about this place, but being vegan I don't expect many (any) options when dining out. This place has a regular menu and a whole vegan menu too! I had the fully dressed vegan cheese burger. O. M. G. The bun was amazing, the onions grilled and hot, melted cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, even vegan mayo...all perfectly crispy and greasy... just like it should be. I ate from food trucks before they were popular and swear by the food they serve!! Especially these days...no more roach coach! Had the opportunity to sample some pretty scrumptious noms from Booty's at a recent Yelp event and without a doubt I will be looking to hunt them down in the city next time I want some great BBQ. Their pulled pork is out of this world, paired with their bourbon glaze BBQ sauce almost melts in your mouth. No chewing required! I also thoroughly enjoyed their jerk chicken sandwiches...not a dry piece of bird in the house! Very tender and juicy which is rare these days. The best part of the sandwiches, I think, are the buns...grilled and warmed to perfection. Kind of reminds me of the butter burger buns. The only reason I went for a 4 rating is because I wasn't impressed with the cheese sauce on the nachos. I LOVE fresh, real cheese so if it comes anywhere close to tasting processed, I'm out...but the green chile sauce was muy bueno!! Great job Booty's. Me Gusta!! read more

This place is awesome and the price is way below what it should be for the premium Ingredients they use. The burger is massive with applewood smoked bacon and smoked gouda cheese with a side of premium baked beans, not to mention the grilled peppers and onions all for 9 bucks. This is easily 15 dollars or more at any place the wife and I eat. We ordered 2 premium burgers, a pulled pork sandwich for our 10 year old(which she devoured), 4 different sides, a bowl of chilli, and 3 drinks, all for 50 bucks. We could have easily fed 5 people. Food took so long that the other people I was with were able to order their food from another vendor and finish their entire meal and we STILL had to wait about 15 minutes before our food was ready. The order taker asked me three separate times what toppings we wanted, apparently they are in need of pen and paper. They also need to do their prep work BEFORE opening. I could have personally prepared 20-30 patties, toasted buns, prepped toppings, and cooked in the time that it took them to prepare our two sandwiches, and I don't do this for a living. The lady at the window seemed to take note of my frustration and started making jokes about the ridiculous wait to my face and then launched into a verbal altercation with me when I explained to her how long we had been waiting. Food was adequate but not worth the wait and gave both us us indigestion. Wouldn't eat it again even if someone else was paying. Booty's take note: you're shooing yourselves in the foot with this customer hostility. It is utterly inappropriate. I saw a number of folks move along after seeing how long we'd been waiting and even more so when your employee started an altercation with me. There are good reviews on here so I'll assume that they just had a bad day, but regardless they've lost my business forever. read more

Savory food, cooked to order, and done right takes more time than a typical fast food burger joint. Their sandwiches are huge as well as their loaded nachos.
