Such good, moist brisket. Definitely recommend! Sweet potato fries were excellent as well.

Had to come back before we left Louisville. Ate the pork poppers and brisket of course. The banana pudding wasn't that good but the bread pudding is delicious. I wish they had this place in my city.

Order at the counter on the left. Small bar with 15-20 beers on tap.

Unique take on BBQ! The Pork Cake Poppers exemplify the uniqueness and deliciousness of this NuLu BBQ joint. Think Pulled pork Cakes instead of Crab Cakes! Cole slaw and BBQ sauce are nice accompaniments. Laid back atmosphere with an "order at the counter, get your number for your food delivery" and fun waiters/attendants. 15-20 beers on tap with 6-8 local breweries represented. Pulled Pork (moist with just the right amount of smoke) Salad with fried pickles was good but lacked depth-variety of salad ingredients-mixed greens and red onions only. Come try it to find your Favorites!

Good spot for dinner. Ordered a pulled pork plate. Pulled pork was perfect. Try it with various sauces. My favorite by far was the spicy BBQ sauce. A surprise was the stew, a Kentucky local. It was amazing. Good beer and the food comes out within minutes!

I was in town for work and a friend suggested we eat in NULU area. We found Feast and decided to give it a try. Walk up order counter and the service was pretty quick. We sat at the bar. I got the Pimento Pork Stacker sandwich and side of Baked Beans. The sandwich was huge. Had good flavor and I tried their spicy BBQ sauce, also good. Their Baked Beans are sweet and I was not a fan. 2 sandwiches, 2 sides, a tea and a beer was $55 with tip, is pricey.

Hands down, one of the best meals and highlights of my bourbon trail trip. BBQ was so good. Laid back vibes and will definitely visit once again. Everything was perfect.

My friend was looking for a place to have bbq after her graduation and this place came highly recommended on Yelp! The restaurant was pretty lively upon arrival but nothing that didn't allow us to order and be seated immediately. The server explained the menus popular items and I ended up going with the suggestion of the Hill Country Holler sandwich! I'm not normally a relish girl but the mustard bbq combo with the pepper relish made a great combination although messy. One of the members of our party also ordered a brisket sandwich which smelled divine and I was told it was nice and flavorful! I loved the laid back casual vibe of the place that felt kind of like a Bubbalou's but with more culture. I need them to open a location in FL so I can get my fill whenever I want!

Feast does a great job serving tasty Q in a cool setting near downtown. I was not too familiar with Burgoo, so I made sure to try it out. I'm glad I did. It was a little spicier than Brunswick stew, but it was 30* outside, so I enjoyed it. The cider vinegar slaw was a nice pallet cleanser. Wings are only $1/each on Wednesday!

Who knew I would discover the most delicious dish and lovely drink at this Feast of a place. I had for the first time a Bourbon Slush which is pretty much an upgraded version of Frose, just with Bourbon. Watch out these things are dangerously good. In addition the Pork Balls, which remind me of Crab Cakes made with Pork, which is Simply just Better. This is an excellent place, please stop on by.

Anyone know what's in the Bourbon slushee? So good!

It varies month to month! My favorite they did was a lavender bourbon slushie. If you follow them on social media, they'll announce what the flavor is that month

    How's the iced tea?

It's not strong and it's not super sweet, but I like it. I usually get 3/4 unsweet and 1/4 sweet when I make it myself at restaurants, but at Feast, I have to get half and half.

It was topped with spices that added a unique flavor. We shared multiple starters The Arancini was good, it was one large rather than multiple like we saw in previous photos. The carrots in my opinion were undercooked, it felt like they were quickly charred on the grill as they were still pretty hard. The marbled potatoes were great! Probably my favorite. I ordered the pork and it came out raw/under cooked bright pink on inside on the first cut. It was sent back and server has chef makes new one. This spot was on a list from my friend's parents for when we visited town, and I'm so glad we grabbed a reservation for our party of 5. Our table took some time, but the host graciously took our drink order and we waited patiently to the side while the party before us paid their check. We didn't mind to wait, but he thanked us 5 times and made sure we had water and drinks. Incredible service that was appreciated. Our server was a quirky guy with great recommendations and I loved him - he took great care of us. We ordered a lot of food and drinks and they were all over it. My cocktails were excellent and it was fun to try some new and unique drinks. My husband's mocktail was solid and he ordered a second, which rarely happens. The food was all delicious. Hot and fresh. Timely. Creative but familiar. The arrancini.... It was so good we ordered a second round for the table. I think we all agreed each person should have just ordered their own, it was that good. I loved the pasta and the carrots and mushrooms. Hands down, my favorite part of the meal. The vibe in the restaurant is fantastic. Busy but not too loud. Modern and restrained decor with that classic vibe with the bricks. It was a really cool place and I would recommend to everyone to come by -- you'll be glad you did.

I will say that the cocktail I had was the best of the day and definitely a good way to start my day. The cocktail I had was the Grape in Rio and it was made with the Copper & Kings Brandy and had coconut creme, pineapple juice, lime juice and a brandied cherry. It was also a very pretty cocktail. We went out on the patio to take a look around, it was breezy out there but I could see where it would be nice to sit out there and have a cocktail. There are also picnic tables out front. You get a faint whiff of the grill/smoker upon entering. Kylie was our bartender and she was fabulous - knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all of our questions with patience. Wife ordered a mango margarita and doesn't like a lot of tequila, so Kylie went half and gave her a shot on the side in case she wanted to add more. It was wonderful. I had a couple of beers. We started with the fried mushrooms, which aren't what you would expect. It's two large portobellos cut into chunks, battered, fried, and served with sun-dried tomato mayo. They were great. I then ordered a duck taco, brisket taco, and a side of Grippo Fries with smoked mayo. I'd never tried duck but that taco was smack-a-lackin'. The brisket taco was also good, and the fries were fantastic - sweet and spicy, fresh cut, and crispy. Wife ordered a pork belly slider and truffle fries. She enjoyed the slider but didn't care for the fries - just not her thing. The portions here are large. A side of fries will feed three people. We took a hefty portion of them home, as well as some of the mushrooms. We could've sat there at the bar and spent 3 hours socializing and enjoying a smattering of cocktails - love the setting. Look forward to going back and trying one of the burgers at some point.

This place is quaint, nice location (on a corner ) decent seating, not a big outdoor dining area, the bar is long and has the memories of the old day saloon. Now the food; terribly good! Menu isn't extensive but good items and variety that will satisfy anyone's appetite. It was Father's Day but as soon as it opened they were quickly filled with patrons and people kept coming; even waiting to get in. The fries in duck fat were awesome. Since so many baskets of fries like this for a long time. The smoked wings are great, meaty and savory. I had the pork belly tacos; my only disappointment was you only get 2 per order. The fine combination of ingredients were splendid and the pork belly so tender. My wife had the bbq pork sandwich on pretzel bun. Very good tasting and this was with no bbq sauce on it. If you're in the area, do yourself a a favor and stop in. I can't wait to go back ( as we live in southern Indiana) so might be a bit but definitely want to try a few other items.

That part was really frustrating--if we had known that upfront when we first put our name down, we could have planned differently. As for the food, it was decent. The burger itself was delicious and definitely the highlight. The fries were very oily but crispy--I personally liked them since I prefer well-done fries, but my daughter wasn't a fan. The layout of the place was also a bit confusing--it took a while to even find the restroom since it was tucked away in another area. Service-wise, I also had to ask for a refill--and only got one--which was disappointing, especially with such a big burger. Overall, spending close to three hours from arrival to finishing our meal just didn't feel worth it, especially with the lack of communication about wait times and limited service. Not a terrible spot food-wise, but the experience could definitely be improved.
