The Brass Social at the top of Blankenbaker Dr (i.e. Electron Dr) is a welcome stop in Middletown KY which is sorely devoid of great restaurants. They host an array of burgers with a myriad of toppings and sides; best of which is the mac n' cheese. I should know, I'm a connoisseur (ahem). There is also a variety of craft bears at 4.00.each But if you imbibe ignore visiting the gun range next door. Shoot first and eat/drink later. Restaurant is easy to get to with plenty of tables inside and out with ample parking. Did I mention the cheap draft bears?

We stopped here for an early supper and were very happy we did. They have a nice draft selection of craft beers and happy hour had them at 4 bucks each. We ordered the pretzel bites to get started and then I went with a mushroom and Swiss smash burger while my wife had a chicken and rice entree. Both were very good. They have a nice burger, selection, but they're all smash burgers. If you love smash burgers, then you'll love this place. If you prefer a big thick burger, then this probably isn't for you. They did also have several other entrée options, other than burgers. Most of their items ran from about 17 up to $20ish for an entrée. The atmosphere was very clean and comfortable casual. We also had great service and a personable waitress. All in all I would highly recommend.

This was a pleasant surprise. This is a well kept secret and a hidden gem. This is really good bar food with even better service. I had one of the burgers and the buffalo chicken dip. They were both a step above your typical bar food and super tasty. Id in the area again, I would definitely return.

My cousin wanted a burger and not just any... "I want juicy, juice dripping from the side of my mouth with crisp lettuce that crunches with each bite, cheese with a salty finish..." So with that, I was on search for a high quality burger that would satisfy the most sophisticated palette for my fam. On a Yelp search, Brass Social was the most favorable option. There was ample parking in the lot Brass Social sat on. We were fortunate to find a spot in front of the entrance. The inside of Brass Social was informal with high ceilings, spacious interior and ample seating to provide privacy between seating. There are seats at the bar to the left of entering, the shooting range is to far back right of the entrance (Yes! You can eat then shoot) and wood tables of different length and sizes with wood chairs and metal details. Their esthetic is industrial. Menus are paper. Service was exceptional. Our waiter was friendly, checked in on us a few times and provided us privacy to enjoy our meals and each other. The women's restroom was bright, spacious, clean and had at least six stalls for everyone in the party to go without wait. The hand towel dispenser was empty and upon telling staff it was immediately refilled. Exceptional! We thoroughly enjoyed our time and meals. The veggies were exceptional. They were so good each one of us couldn't stop complimenting its flavor. Those veggies are insanely delicious! Perfectly cooked. The burgers were more flavorful and juicier than expected and exactly what my cousins were in search for. My salmon was juicy, flaky, seasoned nicely while still enjoying the taste of the salmon itself. Basically, regardless of your selection you will not be disappointed. If I lived closer to some of my fam I would enjoy Brass Social's meals and shooting range. I did not get the opportunity this visit, maybe in a few months we'll see. Overall, I enjoyed the environment, service, food, and time spent and I'm grateful we found a location to satisfy all our preferences.

Greeted warmly upon entering. Nice sized place with a full service bar in the middle of a business center. I ordered a Blue & Blackened Burger with Fries. Let me tell you, it was fantastic!! The fries were crispy and good flavor and the burger was outstanding! This will become a regular spot since my dealership just opened around the corner.

Sorry it's sideways! The Better Bourbon Bureau is my favorite Old Fashioned in Louisville!

This is one of my favorite new spots in the city - it has become a staple in my lunch rotation. Middletown is an affluent area that seems to have the best of everything, but let me tell you - their food scene inexplicably sucks! Brass Social has been such a refreshing addition there, like the thaw of ice in springtime. In particular, their namesake burger might be Louisville's best - and I've tried almost all of them. You can actually taste each individual component of the burger, which is a strange but poignant compliment rendered by my friend, Nate. They also make my favorite Old Fashioned in the city. This place just understands flavors and balance and does everything at an above average standard. The one deficiency is that the service here hasn't been very good over the course of my 8-10 visits. You'll often wait a while... or have to re-ask for things several times. And the atmosphere feels more like a small, impersonal cafeteria. But the food is so good I don't care! A funny note: Brass Social is attached to a gun range. If you drink any alcohol here, they'll scan your license and you won't be permitted to shoot firearms next door immediately after. So do your boozing elsewhere before you visit the gun range. Kidding. But do try Brass Social!

We stopped by for some light snacks after the shooting range before heading home for dinner and ordered mostly appetizers. Most of us tried the garlic shrimp, and while the staff mentioned the shrimp delivery was smaller than usual, we still went ahead, and honestly, it was tasty and well-prepared. That said, at $16 for an appetizer (without fries included), it feels like it should really be considered a meal. I also hope the bread could be served in a slightly thicker cut to make it more satisfying.

Brass Social- A Damn Fine Birger Worth Talking About! Don't be fooled by its location in a business complex. The Brass social creates one the best burgers in all of Louisville, IMO. I personally loved the Signature Social burger. It's a beautiful sweet mess, dripping with what can only be described as liquid gold- a savory, decadent elixir that soaks the bun and coats your fingers in the best possible. Locally sourced beef, an attentive chef, tasty drinks, and great customer service makes this place the spot to check out. It's still in its infancy phase however I'd put money on this place a soon becoming a the place everyone in Louisville comes for a great burger. I highly recommend ordering the 1911 cocktail. You can thank me later.

Hidden in an industrial looking area of j-town you'll find an unassuming burger spot "brass social" it's clean with simple decor, paintings on the walls inspired by the adjacent gun range and shop. The food is strong. All of the meats are locally raised, quality ingredients inside. The Smash Burgers are killer .. no pun intended. My favorite burger is the Hermano Americano. The fries remind me of an upscale long John's silvers fries like they've been lightly dredged in flour or something to that effect. The smoked wings are tasty and with nice smoked flavor and choice of bbq sauce. definitely worth a trip and certainly a hidden Gem. the only time you hear gun fire is when you visit the restrooms... this is a unique and novel experience.

We had a party of eight that they accommodated. Among other large parties we saw. The ambience of the place is so nice so retro. There are about 3 to 4 separate corridors within the building that hold different rooms. Two of them are JUST games. One is half tables half games and then one is just bar and tables. In the summer they have a window that lifts up where you can sit on their patio too. I got a house margarita which I ordered two of because the first one was so good. It was a celebration for my mother-in-law's birthday so she just got a regular beer, but the service was still good amongst all opinions . The bartenders were in good moods and the staff was still super nice and kind even though they were swamped. ----- The FOOD. UNMATCHED! To be THAT busy and push out food of the quality we received is mind blowing!! Good job! I've been here before but no one else had. Note! They only have tater tots. No fries. So I got the Always Sunny Totchos. HALF ORDER Their tots with queso (amazing) & SHREDDED STEAK, GRILLED ONIONS & PEPPERS To dieeee for! So delicious. Then I got wings to go; sauce on the side. COOKED TO Perfection! Buffalo, bourbon bbq, and ranch. My husband got the Mikey Likey burger and he said it was great. (ITALIAN SEASONED PATTY, WARM MARINARA, MELTED MOZZARELLA, PEPPERONI & BANANA PEPPERS) His sister got the "it's a wrap" and she enjoyed it. His mom got the "cougar bait tacos" and loved them. Can't remember what everyone else got because I was on the other side of the table, but everyone enjoyed it. Overall fantastic food! really interesting items. There are so many things on their menu I want to try. I just would probably go on a day they are not so busy. ---- Last notes, their games operate off of tokens that they have machines for that take $1, $5, $10, $20 & it's 25c for each token technically. During my visit, both were out of order so the hostess said that you have to go to the bar and you can swipe your debit card in exchange for tokens, which is a little inconvenient so we didn't do that. But no biggie. I had 4 tokens because it took $1 so she got to play Pac-Man twice and she was happy lol Additionally parking is a little rough when they are busy. Overall great place. Be patient.
