We are so SO SOOOO grateful for this Automotive Repair Shop!!…read more Our previous mechanics weren't being honest with us and messed up some parts of our car so that they could charge us more for services and repairs! But it was also a blessing in disguise... because if it wasn't because of the dishonesty of the other mechanic shop.. we would've never came to C Jae's!! And they're sooo honest here!!! great people and amazing services!!! They helped us fixed the actual problem, fixed some more minor issues for free AND they have life time warranty for the major fixes that they did for us!! They found the root cause of our problems and saved us so much more money!! SERIOUSLY!! I couldn't recommend them more!!!! If you're looking for someone honest, reliable, and great at what they do. This is it! No need to go any where else!!!

Took my car in back in July. It needed an AC recharge. The lady at the front was kind, and quoted…read moreme a 1.5-2 hours for it to be done. After coming back to the shop 3 hours later to pick it up, my car was not at the shop. Turns out they took the car to another shop in town who had the correct machines to get the job done. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time instead of seeing my car driven in to the shop from a different shop. Fast forward to now, my AC went out again several weeks ago and I'll need to take it in once more to inspect what is happening. While this service was cheaper then competitors I feel it may have been worth it in the long run to take it somewhere else because I'll end up paying more to get it done again anyway at this point.

Back in 2003, I was a poor college student driving a 1988 Audi Model 80 Quattro 2.5L 5 cylinder…read moresedan. Things were starting to wear out on it, but buying a newer car was not within the budget. At one point I could no longer unlock the Driver's side door from the outside or inside as the long metal arm between the locking peg and the lock itself broke off. No one made or sold that part anymore. I thought I'd have to finish my last year without a car, and then my first couple paychecks after that trying to get a newer one. The mechanics at Mitchell machined a new part and then installed it for about $20. The car saw me through commissioned officer training in the Air Force, and my young family to our first duty station on the East Coast. I'll always be grateful to Mitchell's for going beyond expectations, and at the same time being super understanding of where I was in my life, how needed the car was, and how limited of a budget I had.

I cannot praise Bodie enough. Honesty, integrity and kindness are what he exudes. I brought my…read moremother's car in to be looked at for a dreaded catalytic converter code. He called me about an hour after dropping it off and asked me to come down so that he could show me what he sees with the car up on the lift. When I got there he walked me through how either the engine or turbo was pushing oil into the exhaust system and is what ruined the catalytic converter. He told me that he recommended not repairing it and moving on from the vehicle as the repair with the new catalytic converter and pulling apart the engine to find the source would be very costly. Having found an honest mechanic, I then picked his brain for another 15 minutes regarding his experience with different vehicles. After driving the vehicle, diagnosing the exhaust system, putting it up on the lift and walking me through everything, he didn't want to accept payment! He felt like he didn't do anything for me! After some haggling he agreed to take half what he had earned. Maybe it was a wise move though. He will now be the only mechanic I send anyone to.

But you don't really get to know a place until there's a problem, and we finally did and they came through. The problem involved a new set of tires on our family wagon, which after being installed created a slight pull to one side. No problem correcting that-- they got a new set in immediately and swapped them. Except it came up again. So, Johnson's did a lot of alignment checking and tried everything (at no extra charge). We finally got to the bottom of it. They really do take care of you, and Jeff and his brother are great! A family business over 100 years old that's very highly recommended.
