For an instant as we entered we thought we were experiencing the scene from Bob Seger's song Turn the Page. We looked at everyone and they looked at us. Like many lounges, they have a high % of local clientele and we clearly were not that. Nevertheless the friendly guy behind the bar welcomed and joked with us as we ordered our food and drinks. The overall place looked spotless and fresh unlike some places that have sticky tables and smell like stale beer. Below is the breakdown: Wings - amongst the largest I have ever seen. They came breaded with Buffalo sauce on the side. They were juicy and delicious even without the sauce. I asked for "hot" and the sauce was Franks straight up which is just right for me. Apparently they offer four Buffalo heat flavors and over a dozen other sauces. Burger - a 1/4 or 1/3 pound burger with standard toppings. Breaded Calamari strips - first time I have encountered Calamari that looked like a fish stick. They were tender and good. Frys - these were amazing. Everyone does frys and it is hard to get excited but these were fantastic. Crisp and medium sized they came out hot and fresh. We think the kitchen is related and shared by the chicken place next door. The service was just right and the gal working the table was super nice and helpful. Prices were more than fair. As we left we said goodbye to a now fully occupied bar and had several farewells come our way. Overall a great place run by great folks.

I ordered a Corpse Reviver #2 and my husband went with a Paper Plane--both cocktails were absolutely delicious and well-balanced. The menu was a bit unexpected for such a stylish lounge, leaning heavily on fried comfort food. We tried the cheese curds and the charcuterie board, and both were surprisingly good. Service was a bit uneven. The bartender, while very chatty with locals, didn't acknowledge us at all--which made it clear we weren't part of the regular crowd. Thankfully, the waitress was friendly and attentive, even though we were seated at the bar. She's the one who took our orders and made us feel welcome. Overall, it was a pretty good experience--especially if you're from around here or don't mind a little local-clique energy.

We will definitely go here again, just with lowered wine expectations haha. price was very reasonable as well. maybe next time try the cod which others have loved. be aware this is a casual Irish Pub - which is what we wanted

Was looking for traditional London fish and chips *Found It Here*…read more Cod dipped and fried to a light crispy texture. Fish is super moist and meaty. Good size portion of cod. The tartar sauce is really good. The ranch dressing is excellent! Not at all vinegary, it may be house made. I don't normally order something like the bangers and mash, but it came highly recommended. I am SO GLAD we did! It's not regular mashed potatoes, it's the whole potato prepared with a crisp outter shell, smashed down and seasoned to perfection. The sausages were surprisingly good and bursting with layers of flavor. The star was the onion gravy! I don't think I've ever had "onion gravy", but it is my new favorite thing. I even went home and checked Pinterest to see IF I could somehow replicate it... for now, it would be easier to just come back and order some more *smiles* The fish tacos are the same dipped cod used for fish n chips, but in set in 2 large white corn tortillas (per taco) instead of on fries. Fish tacos don't come with a side, but 2 fish tacos can be split into 4 smaller tacos. It was very filling and I didn't need an extra side of anything. It's a complete meal *cheers* The daytime service was excellent. The adult beverages were exactly as expected, water was refilled w/o asking, food was served hot and the guy checked on us a couple of times to see how the food was *yay* I could see this venue being super festive later in the evening. Lots of seating, high tables, low tables, wrap around wood bar, shuffle board, a pool table and speakers throughout. The place is very clean and has plenty to look at on the walls without feeling cluttered. Opens daily at 3pm.

There is certainly chicken so if you are hungry or want some pretty good bar food with drinks, there is that, be sure you have your cab money though, its easy to get swept away, its a lot of fun. The staff in general are quite good too. For the part of town you find Chicken N Cheers in I think they do a VERY GOOD job at conducting the overall atmosphere. They aren't there to be baby sitters, they are there to create an atmosphere that people would like to hang out in and they accomplish that in spades; I think that is the sign of a GOOD bar. Having been to many of the bars in town, Chicken N Cheers does it right. I have gone around 5 times now and every time I enjoyed myself. The crowd is generally on the younger side and are sociable. And that is GOOD. I understand that some have maybe judged them a bit too rowdy, but I'd say to those folks the establishment does do a GOOD job at threading that needle, you know "boys will be boys" and to be realistic with those sorts of expectations. Chicken N Cheers lives up to its name, practice your song at home, then bring it by and hand it off to Weezy, please, know your limit, and don't blame them for not being mind readers. 5 Stars.

After that, a worker said she couldn't seat me, that the hostess had to. The hostess was in the middle of cleaning up a table and asked for us to wait a couple minutes while she cleans up. I thought the table she was cleaning was for us, but after cleaning, she seated us at one that was already cleaned. So I was confused on why not seat us first, and continue cleaning. After sitting for a few minutes, hostess walked by and gave us the impression that she wasn't the one to take drink or food orders, but since our waitress was no where to be found, the hostess got us a couple waters. She came back, saying the waitress was on the phone and it would take a few minutes. This experience is already not going well. After finding out the waitress was busy, I had to ask "when would we be able to put an order in? Because we're on a time crunch" and another available waitress comes to take our order. Food was decent! I got the St. Louis ribs and okra and wife ordered a burger. The fries were seasoned so well and the cook on the okra was great!! But the ribs on the other hand were very mediocre. The "spicy" bbq sauce wasn't all that spicy, just a tiny kick. The food was not at all the problem, it was the weird service. The place does feel older but it was decently clean. During the meal, I never saw the waitress that was on the phone, I wondered how long we would've had to wait just to put in an order if I didn't ask. Scale of 1-5, food was a 3.5 and service was a 2.5. We had felt that if they could, they would've just had us wait around on their time for us to get service. Most likely will not be visiting this place again.
