The historic brick walls and overhead wooden beams created a vibe that I've always liked. It was mid-afternoon, so there was no line and a few tables were open. I ordered the Almond Joy and, after a quick look at their pastry case, chose the trinity cookie (made with three different types of chips). We came just for the coffee/drinks today. I had the chai tea and asked for it less sweet. It was very good and wasn't sweet at all. I think next time I would just order it as it comes. My friend ordered the matcha, and she says she now has a new favorite. She also asked for slightly less matcha powder, and that was perfect. The price for 2 drinks was $16 which is slightly higher than elsewhere, given the fact you also get served in a paper cup, but the quality was there. Another friend ordered the breakfast sandwich with sausage, which she says she gets regularly and loves it. Service was very friendly and I would say average as far as speed. There was only one person taking orders and making the drinks, but he was pretty efficient. We will definitely be back for the matcha and chai and also to try some food.
