Another amazing meal at Rustica!! Once again, Chef Jean-Marie & staff did not disappoint. We…read moresampled some incredible appetizers like Argentinian shrimp & Ahi Tuna nigiri, HOMEMADE brioche toast with brown buttered Shitake mushrooms, Crab cakes & mussels steamed in a Vietnamese curry (sublime!). For main courses we opted for the braised beef cheeks & the Berkshire pork chop. Both wonderful, served with an array of farm fresh vegetables. Not sure what more you need except a nice wine & some fabulous house-made desserts: Raspberry Yuzu cheesecake & Molten Lava cake. WOW!!!

We made an early reservation since we saw they do Happy Hour 4PM to 5:00PM everyday so we had to get in on that. We walked and and were seated at our table. They made sure to let us know you can sit anywhere during Happy Hour and still get the specials where many restaurants limit it to a bar area. Rustica does a great job of Happy Hour. They have appetizers, cocktails, beer, Sake, wine, and even main course happy hour entrees too. I started off with a cocktail going for the Liliko Martini which I really enjoyed. I have really been into my Passion Fruit drinks lately. We of course had to get some of the Happy Hour appetizers too and we might have gone a little overboard but for sure worth it. We got: The Naan Bread Yellow Beet Salad Crispy Tofu Roasted Pork Belly Bao Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia Japanese Style Fried Chicken These were a great way to start off dinner and not one of them were $8 or less. If I had to pick favorites the best was for sure the Roasted Pork Belly Bao. I think it might have been the best Pork Belly Bao I had ever had. I was a large thick piece of Pork Belly but it just melted you your mouth and had so much flavor. We also very much enjoyed the Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia which were much bigger then expected. The Japanese Style Fried Chicken was great too and the BBQ Ranch took it to the next level. For my entree I went with the Basil Crusted Roasted Monkfish which came with Vietnamese Yellow Curry, Crispy Shrimp and veggies. The Monkfish was cooked perfectly. I had a great sear on it too which gave it a bit of a crunch. I know Monkfish can sometimes be intimidated people because it was pretty ugly looking but let me tell you if it's prepared like this you're going to love it. Some of the best fish I have had. The Vietnamese Yellow Curry paired very well with it too. Wasn't too heavy and didn't over power the fish but just added an extra boost of flavor. I know what you're thinking who could was possibly be hungry for dessert but it sounded good so we ordered the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee and the Yuzu Cheesecake. Both were light enough that we could still really enjoy them after all we had eaten. We really like that the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee also had bubble boba in it which we didn't expect. We had an amazing meal and for sure be coming back sooner rather then later.

Both were addictively good. For dessert, I had the s'mores pie, which was surprisingly good. Fudgy creamy goodness with a nice texture from the graham cracker crust. I really love the roasted marshmallow fluff on top and they brought it with a candle for my birthday. I really appreciated that extra touch along with the FREE champagne for the table. They really know how to do birthday dinners If you want to get the horseshoe booth check for it on the reservations.

We came here with my sister and her husband for a belated Valentine's Day dinner…read more When we arrived we were greeted by the hostess. We decided to have a drink at the bar. I ordered a lemon drop martini. My drink was made well and was cold. When we were seated, we looked over the menu. There menu hasn't really changed too much. We opted to start with fried pickles and split a wedge salad. My sister and her husband each had a salad. My sister had the burata and her husband had the ranch. Our apps/salads came out quickly. The wedge salad was cool and crisp. I wish it had more pieces of bacon, the bacon looked a bit sparse. The fried pickles were great. I loved the light crisp batter on them and the ranch dip had a bit of a kick to it. For dinner I got the braised short ribs, my husband and brother in law both got the chimichurri steak, and my sister got the pork schnitzel. I've been looking forward to the braised short ribs all week. I was a bit disappointed that when I bit in, it appeared to be pretty bland. Normally when I get this meal it's bursting with flavor. My husband and BIL enjoyed their steaks. My sister enjoyed her schnitzel, but said the pork could have been a bit thinner. We ended the meal with their skillet cookie. Typically the cookie comes out piping hot, but on this occassion, while the skillet was hot, the cookie wasn't. We'll give them another shot, but I was a bit disappointed this time around.

Hello everyone and we are back and we even have a new guest who goes by the name of tragic. It was a nice day until I got 3rd degree burns all over my body at the beach, so we figured to go to a bar and grill to cool off and watch St John's make me lose money. We were seated almost immediately to where we met with a beast of a waiter. His name was Ricky and you could tell he knows for sure what he's doing. With his funny jokes and quick responses he more felt like a homie than our waiter. I was feeling different so I ordered a shrimp platter and had a quesadilla app (which the ogre took part of from me). She's so fat too it's actually crazy, I mean it's all "food food food" with this girl. Anyways everyone got boneless wings and again I got something different.. I'm a leader not a follower. Side note if you were wondering why Doctor B and his wife weren't together he decided instead of hanging out, he had a rugby tournament??? So anyways onto the reviews Wife: "They left my lips with a tingy feeling, but it was more than good" Ogre: "I liked the coleslaw" Tragic: "Wood" My good buddy bezos: actually unfortunately I can't say what he said on here because it isn't pg Me: Sure I mean bar food nice people, food was probably all frozen but it was a good time and great people. Nice job Ricky, thanks for being dope

It's a typical sports bar type of a vibe and I believe they do drink specials while games are on and if a certain team scores, etc. The people are always friendly and nice. We sit at the bar area and we're usually greeted right away. One of our favorite things on the menu was the blackened mahi wrap they removed that on their new menu, but we went in there and we were able to get it ordered because they still have whitefish it might've been grouper, but I didn't care. I find that there is inconsistencies with the kitchen. Sometimes we would get the wrap and it would be perfect other times there was hardly any fish and it was mostly lettuce and others it was lacking the other things such as the salsa and the cheese, etc. They have a great taco happy hour. Everything is 4 to 6 dollars from 4 to 6 PM , and this is again sometimes they're amazing and sometimes they're just so so. Overall, for the pricing and the atmosphere and the location, especially for us is a good go to for us. I just wish they were more consistent with the kitchen. All of their well drinks on happy hour is five dollars so that's a good deal right there. Also, they have side orders of things like onion rings and french fries if you don't wanna do a whole basket of it, which is super helpful if you wanna grab a few tacos and just want a little bit of onion rings

The margarita was good, not great, but pretty good. My husband had deviled crab with a baked potato and applesauce. I had the 2-item platter with shrimp and scallops. What a fantastic deal the food arrived hot delicious and they also had half-price appetizers so I wound up getting the fried green tomatoes. Very healthy portion and tasted delicious. If you get a chance, check them out. They have good value, good food, great drinks, and good friends to be had.
