    Breakfast Burrito

The breakfast here is soooooo good! The bread is fresh and perfectly toasted. The hash browns are crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. The eggs were perfectly cooked to order. The bacon was thick and crisp! Drinks were served quickly and the coffee kept coming. Our servers were very friendly and so attentive. All this is a very classy atmosphere. What more could one ask for?! I will be bringing my family back again!

Good, but not great. Definitely not a Greatroom... food was decent, staff was nice but lacked attention to the customers. Over priced for what you get. I'd recommend if you needed a place to eat, but I'd probably not return.

This place is a reminder not to judge a book by its cover, don't want to call this a greasy spoon because there was nothing greasy about the food. Quaint and clean. The food was sooo good! Eggs, hubby's scrambled and mine over medium, were perfectly cooked. The sausage patties were delicious; nice crisp sear on the outside and tender in side. Best execution of hash browns I've ever had at any restaurant. The rye bread toast.... To make this place even better, the service was incredible. Wish I had gotten their names to give them the proper appreciation, both were attentive and friendly. Sad they are so far away, best breakfast ever!

I've been a customer of Marcia's Silver Spoon Cafe for years, and this was, by far, the worst…read morecustomer service experience I've ever had. This morning I called to order two chicken fried steak omelet pans for pickup. I was told there would be an additional 20% surcharge because ordering two pans would take up their entire grill and slow down service for dine-in customers. I was surprised because I've never heard of this policy before, and I couldn't find it posted on their menu or website. Considering the pans are already around $45 each, adding another 20% felt excessive. So I decided to order just one pan instead. The reason for the order makes this experience even more disappointing. My family and I were bringing breakfast to a close friend whose sister had passed away from cancer the day before. We simply wanted to take one thing off their plate during such a difficult time. We love Marcia's food, and we knew it would be comforting for the family. After placing my order, I called a family member to let them know I'd only ordered one pan and that we could pick up fruit, croissants, and orange juice from Costco to make up the difference. Without me knowing, that family member decided to call the restaurant separately and order another pan, intending to pay for it themselves and meet us at our friend's house. About 20 minutes later, I received a phone call from the restaurant. Instead of asking questions, the employee immediately accused me of having someone place a separate order just to avoid the 20% surcharge. Her tone was aggressive and confrontational from the start. She even told me she had spoken with Marcia and that they would no longer serve us. I was completely confused because I honestly had no idea another order had even been placed. When I asked why they believed I had orchestrated this, I was told they had asked the other customer if they were "with Tila," and because they answered yes, they assumed we were trying to get around the surcharge. It was a complete misunderstanding. If someone were actually trying to avoid paying a fee, why would they openly admit they knew me? My family member was placing and paying for their own order. What bothered me most wasn't just the misunderstanding--it was how quickly the restaurant jumped to accusations instead of simply asking for clarification. Calling a customer to accuse them of being dishonest, involving another customer's order, and then telling them they're no longer welcome before even hearing their side was incredibly unprofessional. Because of the way we were treated, we never picked up either order. On a day when we were simply trying to comfort a grieving family, this added unnecessary stress and disappointment. The food has always been good, which makes this even more unfortunate. But customer service matters just as much as the food. Sadly, after this experience, they've lost longtime customers, and I can no longer recommend Marcia's Silver Spoon Cafe to my friends and family.

Extra bonus points that it's in Proctor - my favourite stomping ground. I got there not too long after they opened and about half of the tables were already taken. I found a place at the bar and was quickly greeted. I didn't see a drink menu, so I figured a mimosa is the obvious choice. They also have apple and grapefruit juice so you can mix it up a bit! For breakfast I went with the Mediterranean Veggie Hash, which was excellent! Good ratios of all the ingredients and I will absolutely be eating another one! It seems like this is one of those places that you're going to want to get to early - by the time I was leaving it was a full house with no seating left!

Took everyone's drink order but mine. When she came back I asked if there were adult drinks. There are no drinks listed anywhere in the menu. When our food came I asked for butter.... butter never came. She checked on us 20 mins later and I just gave her my card. She came back with the credit card slip to sign and my copy. There was no itemized receipt so I dont know exactly what I paid for but I assume $134 for 5 people sounded about right I gave 4 stars cause the food made up for it... or atleast my dish did! French toast was nice and fluffy. The syrup tasted like a caramel/maple mix. Goodm but too sweet toward the end Blueberry pancakes were nice and fluffy 6oz steak and eggs was the winner. Your choice of bread. Comes with hasbrowns. The steak was cooked medium which was fine. The sauce on the steak is what got me. There was pesto, shredded cheese and some type of ketchup/may/ maybe Sriracha mix. But it was REALLY tasty. Southwest hash - great portion. Has brown postion was nice and crispy. They were very busy. It was father's day. So im sure it was just an off day with the service. Would definitely try again The only suggestion i would make would be to put the items that dont fit on the main plate, on a smaller plate. These tables have limited room. So giving each patron 2 large plates (one for french toast and an equally large plate for eggs and bacon) took up a lot of room on a 4 person table where you sat 5

Bowl of Chorizo, home fries, egg over medium, cheddar cheese, sausage gravy. It really hit the spot. I went with the biscuit on the side instead of toast. Again, glad I did. Flakey and buttery. Next day I came back for lunch. Had the BLTA on sourdough with a side of fries and a Bloody Mary. The sandwich had perfectly portioned bacon and produce ratio. Silly metric, I know but a sandwich with too much tomato or mayo or avocado can spoil the meal with a mess. Fries were great too. Had a bit of an onion ting taste to it which wasn't unpleasant at all. Bloody Mary was mid. Came with skewer of jack cheese, olive, pepper round chunk, pickled asparagus, and celery.
