We had a wonderful experience here! We walked in and were seated immediately with no wait, which was a great start to the evening. To begin, we ordered the fried green tomatoes and fried gator, and both were absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. For my meal, I ordered the fried shrimp dinner--wow! It came with a huge portion of shrimp, and the batter was perfectly seasoned and crispy. My son ordered a burger, my husband had the grilled grouper, and my other son got the lobster mac & cheese. My husband said the grouper was very fresh, and the lobster mac & cheese had large chunks of lobster and was another very generous portion. The service was excellent--our waiter was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, the food was fresh, the portions were large, and the service was great. We will definitely be back!

Saw an Instagram post about this place so decided to check it out. The restaurant is located inside of Avay strip mall. The website indicated that reservations were recommended so I made a reservation online. When we arrived, there was no need to utilize the call ahead that was done because seating was available immediately. The restaurant is spacious and clean. One note on the bathroom the soap dispenser was broken and the floor was a bit sticky. Our waitress was friendly and professional. We placed our order for drinks, appetizers, and entrées at the same time. That was probably a bad decision because our food was not timed appropriately by the kitchen. We received our appetizers and within 2 minutes we received our entrees. This caused us to rush through our meal to try to eat it while it was still hot. However, my baked potato was just warm. Also, the lobster bisque was sent back because it was too salty. That was taken off of our bill. The green beans and seafood casserole were under salted, but that is better than being too salty. The haddock was good. Overall, I would say this was mediocre. Not worth the hour drive for me.

Calamari was hot fresh and delicious

I wasn't even sure if I was going to write this review, but I feel like It needs to be shared. I have been wanting to try this place for awhile now and i was finally able to last night. When I came in i waited just a couple of mins for the waitress to come back up to the front. She seated me right away. Not too long after I was seated my male waiter came over and asked what he could get me to drink. I just wanted a water and he walked away so quickly I had to almost pause him so i could put in my order of calamari. I was a little shocked because it was my first time there and in most cases the waiter will ask you have you been there before, before telling you a little about the menu and I didn't receive any of that during my experience. There was several times where i would go a long time without seeing him. The second time he came around he asked me if I wanted to order food. Mind you I hadn't even received my calamari yet. I politely declined and told him I wanted to wait until after i received my app. By now I was starting to feel some type of way and ready to leave because it seemed as if I was being rushed or he didn't want to service me. But since I was already there i went ahead and ordered my lobster roll. Soon as I finished I immediately asked for my check because I didn't want to spend another min in there. Some of my other observations I noticed is that the floors were filthy, looks like they only clean the table tops and not underneath when they turn tables because there was all kinds of leftover food, straw wrappers on the floor and not to mention how sticky it was. And my last observation was that they sat myself and 2 other black families all in a row, im not sure if this was coincidence or because of anything else, but it kind of made me raise my eyebrow while also observing who i think was the manager circle around to certain tables to check in on their experience and not all the tables. All in all I'm not sure if I would come here again just on the customer service alone but the food was good so if you like seafood you should go for that.

Fisherman's Platter

What a hole in the wall place in Lutz. We got the Fisherman's platter which was a great deal with fried haddock, Ipswich clam strips, giant sea scallops, shrimp, fries AND onion rings. $30! Plenty of food for 2 people Their lobster rolls are popular too. I saw alot of families dining and seemed like a local spot. They have daily specials including all you can eat haddock on Sundays. Overall a surprising seafood

This place was a great surprise. Located in a strip mall without a marquee sign. Look at the windows to find it. Inside is a great decor and really clean. Our server was really great and funny. Hostess was also really nice. The food is reasonably priced and pretty darn good. We got some apps, grouper and seafood platter. WARNING the platter is huge, could be shared among three.

The salmon was absolutely delicious! grilled, of course. The service was outstanding . Ambience was delightful.. The only thing different from last time is that the price is increased. That's nothing new with the economy the way it is.

Is this lobster lol

We ordered 2 lobsters rolls to go When I arrived to pick up order I saw the lady pack the order as I was waiting. She was doing 2 orders at once When I got home I got 1 lobster roll and one shrimp. I called the store to tell them about it she talked to manager he said he packed them him self that I was wrong as I was looking at shrimp at my table. has I said I watched a lady pack it not the manager! shrimp is a lot cheaper I would understand if there was no refund per policy but for him to tell me I was wrong does not fly with me. She said that the other party did not call. Let's be real if you got lobster instead of shrimp would you complain.

My husband saw an ad on FB for, The Great Catch by Taste of Boston, and decided to take us there for lunch. I was a bit apprehensive when I saw the place. A smallish entrance in a not to nice looking strip center. ( never judge a book by its cover. Lesson learned) The atmosphere was nautical themed. Lights down a bit made it very cozy. Several large screen TV's were playing different channels. Everything looked clean, a bit old fashioned, but very nice. We were seated by a very nice, cheerful waitress named Alayna. The menu's have seen better days but were easily read. Alayna took our drink request and hurried away. People began arriving, filling booths and tables. I only saw Alayna taking care of the guests. She was very quick attending everyone, yet maintained her cheerful attitude. She returned with our drinks, took our orders and headed away. I will admit, I was taken aback with the prices. Yes, they were a bit high for lunch but we were even happier when our huge pile of food arrived. I ordered clam strips. They were very lightly covered in a thin batter that didn't disguise the flavor of the clam strips. The meal came with a hefty amount of fries, also lightly coated in a tasty dusting of flavoring. The meal came with coleslaw too. My husband ordered a hamburger...a monster of a burger! A pound of meat, with lettuce, tomatoes and other additions. He couldn't even fit his mouth over it! We also ordered crab bites which were ok. We ordered French onion soup too. The soup was fantastic! None of that greasy stuff or fake tasting stuff used at other places. The ice tea also tasted like it was old fashioned made with tea and real sugar. We were very happy with our entire meal. The Great Catch by Taste of Boston is a most definite try. We will go back. Yes, the price was high, $70.00 for lunch but we had enough for our dinner tonight. I highly recommend The Great Catch by Taste of Boston.

Lobster Bisque cup w/ Garlic Bread
Samantha Q.

To start I ordered a cup of lobster bisque with garlic bread which was delicious. For dinner I couldn't choose and liked the option to pick 2 items. I ended up choosing the blackened scallops and buffalo shrimp. They're usually served with fries and coleslaw but I didn't want the coleslaw so they offered double fries. The blackened scallops were good but I loved the buffalo shrimp.

The fish was fried in a cornmeal batter which is my favorite way to eat fried fish. The grits were savory and creamy and paired well with the fried fish. The dessert was a dish I had never tried before but will definitely be requesting it again the next time I get food from Chef Ava. So good! We arrived around 6:30 PM and weren't seated until well after 8:00. The restaurant had noted they weren't taking reservations due to the holiday, but you could join a waitlist upon arrival--which we did. What made it more frustrating was watching other large groups linger at their tables after finishing, leaving just one person behind to "hold" the spot while they went out to enjoy the festivities. Meanwhile, we saw smaller groups being seated, which made the wait feel even longer. Once we were finally seated, service started off a bit slow. It took some time for staff to come by, and when our food arrived, multiple servers were bringing out dishes without clear organization--walking around the table until someone claimed each plate. That said, the food itself was a highlight. I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla Fajita, which was delicious and a generous portion--enough for leftovers. I also tried the mango margarita; while it leaned more toward an orange flavor than mango, it was still enjoyable. The atmosphere was vibrant and fun, especially for Cinco de Mayo. There was lively music, colorful and creative wall art, and even a photo-op wall, which added to the experience. Parking, however, was another challenge--it was chaotic, with cars parked on curbs and anywhere they could fit. Overall, while the wait and initial service were frustrating, the food and atmosphere made it a memorable visit. I'd be willing to give it another try on a regular day to see how the experience compares--and to explore more of the menu, since everyone in our group enjoyed their meals.

Restaurant was clean, white table cloths, older decor and booths, but cute. Place was full of two large family groups celebrating the holidays together. Bathroom could use a better cleaning and update. We decided to get a small appetizer plate: Humus, Baba Ghanhuj, Falafel, Labneh, we opted for no grape leaves as we don't prefer them and got extra falafel instead. Portion was great. Our favorites were the Labneh absolutely delicious and perfect taste and texture, humus was seasoned perfectly and falafel was good, but I can't say it was amazing though, something was missing in taste to me. We also ordered the mixed meat entree, portion was large, no way I could have eaten it alone! We shared and still had left overs. The entree came with Kufta Kabob, beef shawarma, chicken kabobs, beef shish kabob, tzatziki, fattoush salad, pita, basmati rice. We had wanted a side of extra tzatziki but instead received a large side dish of tzatziki (we let it go, but neither of us truly enjoyed the tzatziki that much. It was bland to our liking). The one thing we absolutely did not like was the bland, no dressing fattoush salad. It literally had no dressing, no taste, not recommended at all, as the side. So here's what we did like a lot was the chicken kabobs, beef shawarma, basmati rice, beef shish kebabs, kufta kabobs, humus, and loved the Labneh on and with everything. The chicken kabobs were our favorite meat, tender, juicy, seasoned perfectly! We truly enjoyed and savored the Pistachio Baklava, so yummy for dessert! Overall we gave the place a 4 out of 5. We enjoyed our food, service was attentive and friendly. We had to downgrade from a 5 because we did not like the no dressing fattoush salad and the tzatziki tasted bland to us (we are used to the more Greek style). We will be back to try some other dishes!
