    Tenderloin + the gravy boat
    Cassandra G.

Literally the best biscuits I've ever had!! WOW- spectacular!! Make sure to come here when it's not peak drive-through time so anytime after 11 AM. The line can get pretty crazy bc it's so good! Literally all of the delicious breakfast items are here can't wait to come back next week but they are closed on Sundays. Had to get my fix before they closed at noon. The tenderloin is exceptional the biscuits are to die for, The grits are like a dream and the sausage gravy is perfection. I cannot wait to come back to this place it beats any waffle house or Chick-fil-A or Cracker Barrel or all of the names above any day of the week. Everything's homemade in-house and next on the bucket list is going to be cinnamon rolls and a sausage rolls. It's definitely a hole in the wall but definitely one that you need to go to when in Rome!

terrible food, should've known better, no one was in line, only two people working in the morning , so disappointed they've went down so badly, they really need to close down, threw this crap in the garbage, don't waste your time going here.

It's like a meal on a biscuit.. these biscuits are so massive you are not safe to drive and eat one. The biscuit i got was loaded with bacon cheese and like 2 eggs. The only downfall is it's small and limited menu and hours but if you want a good breakfast then this is it you won't be disappointed

Took my Gravy Boat meal (two eggs, biscuit, steak, gravy) over to Swift and Finch.

Best biscuits and eggs I ever had. The price is very reasonable for such good food! The people that work there are so friendly and cheerful.

Fun, eclectic eatery located in the heart of downtown Rome…read more The space is wide open and has a small, hometown feel to it with fun art and memorabilia hanging from the ceiling and walls. The menu is full of classic, comfort style dishes that will make you feel at home. Or server was a true southern belle with all the charm and kindness you would expect. I had a burger and it was delicious. This thing was MASSIVE and cooked to a perfect medium well as I had requested. The fries were also pretty good. They could have used a bit more seasoning but there was salt on the table!

This is a Southern Restaurant in a southern town. So I opted for a Shepherd's Pie from the St Paddy's Day menu. Yeah, go figure. It was rather bland. When I make this dish, I use ample cream in the potatoes (Irish style) and make a thicker, more moist pie, with a good deal of tomato in it. This was a bland substitute. Far better the next day when I added in enough butter to make the potatoes shine. I will give props for using lamb on this. She had the salmon patties. Fairly simple, also rather bland. Mashed potatoes as well. Breading on the okra was fine. Staff? Very friendly waiter. Answered all the questions and even described the drinks. As this has a good craft beer selection, I opted for one I had not had before and she got a smokey old fashioned. The old fasthioned did not have the cherries or orange peel you would normally see, but was rather strong and did use a rye whiskey. I would not go there for the drink, but reasonably priced. The ambiance is great. Typical of Rome, GA establishments, you can feel the history. They also have a rooftop bar and a separate bar area, for those seeking out a drink or two. Summary: The experience was good, but the food was bland. If you like to heavily salt your food, this might not be as big of a deal. On the whole, 3 stars, for average. Compared to other places in Rome, some of which are really bad, you would prefer this to many places. Nothing really bad to say, but nothing really good. Just average.

I came in here on a whim on Thursday June 10th 2025 right around noon. I wasn't planning on eating…read morehere I had just met up here with someone to purchase something off FB marketplace, since I was in the parking lot I decided to go in and get some lunch and I'm glad I did. On first impression coming in I felt like I went back in time to an old cafeteria for senior citizens, and it is kind of that way but it's open and airy with plenty of good booth seating. The music is depressing as it's all old mostly from the 70's stuff, which is ok but I don't like crying over my food usually! Bit of a joke there so don't get upset if you love it! The good news is the food is actually pretty good! Usually these types of restaurants actually do cater to the local elderly crowd and so sometimes the food is understandably bland but not so much this time. I was seated instantly (apparently seat yourself) and was greeted immediately by Kelci,, a great server with a very pleasant and beautiful smile and a very professional and efficient demeanor. I ordered the grilled catfish with mashed potatoes and green beans. The catfish was surprisingly good with a nice flavor (even though the filet was almost tiny, luckily I wasn't too hungry, it still tasted good and the tartar sauce is came with was perfect). The sides I had were mashed potato's (again, nice flavor but no gravy) and the green beans were pretty fresh even though probably from a can, and those were pretty bland. Funny thing is there were no bread options for the meal but it was lunchtime so maybe that's why? They also have a large selection of desserts which Kelci helped me pick through. I got a slice of German chocolate cake which was huge and delicious, I couldn't finish it. Also the tea is good old southern tea, I had the half and half because it's pretty sweet but that's the way it's supposed to be! Overall the place was very clean and smelled nice. There's ample parking outside and the location is convenient. I will probably come back when in the area but won't make a drive from where I live in Cartersville just to eat here. So overall I'm giving 5 stars for the excellent service (thank you Kelci), 4 stars for the food, 3 for the atmosphere (kick up the music to add in some modern rock or something!) and 5 stars for cleanliness, parking and location. Definitely recommend for locals and folks passing through.

We went for the weekend and got the romance…read morepackage, as we arrived into our room the bed had a heart shape with roses along with a bottle of champagne. We were given credit in which we got a couples massage, gun shooting and horseback riding! They have many activities on the resort and the staff is extremely welcoming and friendly! The only downside was we were told something different about the credit and got charged $456 for the massage, the staff realized their mistake and luckily granted us what we were initially told. (I will admit the massage was mediocre for the price.... in my person opinion I wouldn't really recommend doing it but the spa itself is lovely) We visited woodlands grill for lunch and dinner and were extremely surprised with how tasty the food was! 10/10 recommend eating there at least once and visiting the beer garden for additional food options because the menu for the most part is the same at the restaurant and it is the only restaurant on the resort. The beignets were soooooo good, everyone needs to try this. I also recommend getting dinner earlier rather than later because they do run out of certain foods towards the end of the night. It's pricey in the fact that you have to pay for every little thing. (a small water bottle is $3.00) Highly recommend for families or couples just wanting a weekend getaway! For families with children there are lots of activities to keep them occupied such as corn hole, smores outside every night and bike riding that you can rent! I will suggest booking the different excursions in advance because it does get booked very quickly and certain excursions (axe throwing, archery and horseback riding is only available till 3pm at least that's what we were told. Regardless, I will definitely be back one day!
