My husband had the Peruvian shrimp with yellow rice, salad, and black beans. We were both raving about the taste while eating. They have a range of dishes from across Latin America, and lots of gluten free options. They aren't safe for celiacs though. They use a shared fryer. If you are super sensitive or have celiac, just beware of that. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Conveniently located in the theme parks area near Orlando. You should not miss this restaurant. Try something new if you've never tasted Latin American cuisine, or try it if you've grown up with it. You won't go wrong and you'll likely be back.

You order at a kiosk fast food style, but all of the food is then prepared freshly and authentically. They have a huge menu with all kinds of delicious Latin eats like sandwiches and platters. We absolutely loved our Cuban sammies which came on thick and sweet bread. My kids kept it simple with tenders and fries and also enjoyed! They have a big drink selection and you can find everything from juices to fresh cocktails. The biggest hit was their large indoor screened patio - perfect for my kids to run around. If you want to avoid fast food but also don't feel like taking your kids to a proper sit down restaurant than this is a really great option.

With that said, the food was excellent and there's a ton to choose from - it's easy to get overwhelmed, but the thing I enjoyed the most was the service and how sweet our server was (I forgot her name, but she was always so sweet and patient with our family). There were tons of folks eating mofongo so I'm sure that's a fan favorite here. We tried a few appetizers, juices, rice and beans, and shared a large platter that had multiple options for the family since it was our first visit and we didn't know what to try first. The tostones rellenos de churrasco (skirt steak stuffed fried green plantains) were delicious and come with five little cups and a dipping sauce that I'm pretty sure was mayo/ketchup. They also put a little PR flag on top which my kids enjoyed playing with. This ended up being my main meal because I wasn't that hungry, and it was the perfect bite of crispy, salty, and creamy with the dipping sauce. We also tried another appetizer that I didn't try, alcapurria de carne, which comes with two rolls cut in half (husband enjoyed it) and the Assorted Pal Campo which comes with chicharon, fried yuca, chicharron de pollo, tostones, fried cheese topped with a sweet guava sauce (that my daughter was not a huge fan of - I would ask for it on the side next time), and sausage. Definitely a heavy meal - and I felt like I needed to eat salad for the next two days straight after this meal - but it was tasty. Next time I'll ask for a side of cucumbers or something to break up all of the fried elements, or order something that comes with slaw/veggies.

The night began with the valet parking attendant, who was incredibly welcoming and professional, setting a great tone for the evening. The high standard continued inside with the service, our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. We started off with drinks. Drinks were a bit pricey but one was enough for the night. For appetizers, we had the burata and prosciutto which was excellent. We also ordered empanadas that were delicious and filling. I ordered the Chilean sea bass with risotto. The sea bass was soft and perfectly cooked. To wrap up our meal, we ordered flan. It had a silky texture and had the right amount of caramel. This is the perfect place to bring a date and have delicious food.

We were one of the first groups seated in the restaurant, yet it took over 1.5 hours for our food to arrive for a party of four. During that time, there was very little communication or reassurance regarding the delay, which made the experience even more frustrating. Our server, Sinah, was not attentive and did not check in consistently throughout the wait. A little acknowledgment or hospitality would have gone a long way considering how long we were waiting. When the food finally arrived, it was cold. After waiting that amount of time, it was disappointing to receive dishes that clearly had not come out fresh or hot. The reason this review gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. The decor, ambiance, and aesthetic are stunning and clearly designed with presentation in mind. It's definitely a visually appealing space and great for photos. However, if you are looking for a stellar dining experience with strong service and timely, quality food, I would not recommend this spot. Come for the pictures, not necessarily for the overall experience.

The food was fantastic (our table shared both the Crab Guacomole and the Cha Cha Cha - both yummy; I had the Vaca Frita which was succulent which with the rice and beans were just divine). The drinks were great too, as our table shared passionfruit mojitos. Ambiance was perfect - our corner table was the perfect place for us to catch up and have our own space in this vivrant restaurant. Our server Jason was super cool and accomidating, making sure we were good without imposing, and was able to roll with our rowdy group. I was immediately drawn in by the music and the LED lights. We started off with a round of sangria, which is always a great way to kick off. We also got a basket of bread and mango butter, which was both unique and really good. The table shared a Plato Cha Cha Cha. I couldn't tell what was what, but I remember the croquetas being super delicious! Definitely worth it on a hungry stomach. I ordered the Ropa Vieja for my entree. It was very good (especially the plantains/maduros), but I was already very full and probably should have ordered something lighter in hindsight. The highlight of the night was definitely dessert. It was my aunt's birthday, and they greeted her with a huge bowl of ice cream and a show. I won't spoil it, but if you have a birthday, Cuba Libre will definitely make you feel celebrated. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Orlando who would like to try out Cuban food.

Their service is great and fast, but more importantly their food is mouth watering good. It always leaves me with a craving to come back and a full stomach ready to tackle the rest of my workday. My favorites have consisted of a Cuban sandwich which is full of pork and sauce and toasted nicely. It also does not fall apart when eating which is a plus when you are trying to stay looking presentable. Their pork is amazingly juicy and just falls apart in your mouth and has been worth every stain I have accidentally caused on my dress shirts. The white rice is fluffy and simple and good but their yellow rice is much better with many items. Their chicharron de cerdo is crispy and breaks easy and it's never been hard or chewy. Their ropa vieja is also delicious and I can't help but devour the entire plate. The rice and beans paired real good with this! My favorite sides have been the avocado salad and their macaroni salad! Both very light and balanced well with light citrus flavors in the avocado salad. I'll keep coming back here because the food honestly reminds me of so many great dishes my family use to make at home and after eating at so many places around Orlando I had yet to find a better place to get Spanish food like this!

Ok this has to be my favorite restaurant in Orlando and I loved the food so much. Alfredo was my…read moreserver and he had the best recommendation and I loved it. The empanada came LOADED with shredded beef and this empanada didn't skimp out on quality. It tastes so good when you dip it with the green sauce and it was chef's kiss. I think this is the best empanada I ever had and when I tried other empanada, it doesn't even compare to this. I ordered another dish but I forgot the name and it's soo good. I was a little disappointed because the menu said pick 3 sides and I chose all beef. Alfredo didn't mention to me that there would be an additional charge for the beef. As a result, I had to pay an additional $10 which was very pricey and didn't find out until I received my bill and saw the charge. I didn't make any complaints because the employees seem not to speak English well and it's hard to be a foreigner trying to adapt to the culture and the language. But this is soo good and I can see why the reviews on yelp are all stellar.

They also have lunch specials, which is nice. Cons- There is ALWAYS a weird perm smell when you go. It literally smells like someone is perming their hair, so not good. Another con is sometimes it takes long to get your food. And last but not least, I think their prices are not reasonable lately. Some of the prices do not match their menu, not sure when they raised their prices but I have never ever heard of a patacon costing almost $26 anywhere, and I frequent a lot of Venezuelan spots. Their name went from Q'Kenan restaurant to Q'Kenan Steakhouse so maybe now they just raised all the prices, I don't know. Their most expensive patacon on the menu is the one with Picańha and it says $17...yet I got charged 25.90. Regardless of how good something is, there shouldn't be a $9 difference from what is on the menu. That is absurd. On my last trip- $43 for an empanada, tequeńos and a patacon just doesn't sound right for Venezuelan food, and I come from living in Miami where restaurants are supposed to be more expensive. Add a tip and you're paying over $50 for street food. That's wild.
