We didn't get our taco fix from another establishment, so we decided to try Tacos my Guey. We ordered the carne asada tacos, pork tacos, tostada, elotes and fries. I discovered a coupon for a free churro on Yelp, so we went ahead and ordered that too. (This was a few years back, so I'm not sure if that promo is still available). I didn't care for the elotes, the tostada was ok, but I loved the tacos and churros. Yum, I'd definitely dine here again! There's 16 photos that should be posted with this review.

QUESO DIP AND CHIPS

Stopped in and had a great experience love that they are open so late until 3am! Service was quick, and I really like that you can order either from the kiosk or in person -- makes it super convenient depending on your mood. The seating was comfortable, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. Both the red and green salsa were fresh and packed with flavor. The queso was served hot and tasted great too. Overall, a solid spot if you're looking for fast service and good, fresh food. The only thing is you're not able to edit the burrito to add things in but you can remove things such as cilantro if you don't like it.

Chicken and fried shrimp taco with red salsa

I went in late on a Tuesday night and had great service. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. I did take out and it was very easy to order my meal. I didn't have to wait long before they walked my meal over to me. My favorite taco was the shrimp taco. It was fried well and tasted very fresh. I would definitely come back and get three of these tacos just alone! The red salsa also added a nice kick to both tacos.

We stopped here for a quick lunch! I'm so bummed didn't try drinks. But the food was good! Very flavorful, juicy, and fulfilling. Quick service and it was pretty busy lots of families. Salsa was good. For locals on their Instagram page they do have flash tacos sales for 99 cents. Restrooms available & lots of parking.

Amazing place, I love how a place is reinventing itself and growing as a company, I hope it continues like this for many more years, delicious food and drinks as always, cold and super refreshing

It's been awhile since ive been here but, it's still just as nice. Chill, good music, not too loud, very nice staff, very clean and the food is delicious, as always. That horchata still hits.

Absolutely worthwhile! Their quesadilla is amazinggggg and comes with sour cream, queso and a beef broth, it's literally the best, I love it! Such nice workers who work really hard and they bring out your food so quickly.

The Rundown: local chain with friendly service featuring tacos, quesadillas, and other Mexican food favorites. The Review: I was seeking a late night food option and saw this location was opened. Wanting to try something more local, I gave it a go. First impression upon entering was enjoyable. The atmosphere is colorful, with small decor features all over (even up in rafters) giving a very pleasant vibe especially for a quiet (due to late hour) location. They offer a self-service kiosk if you don't want to wait in line. I had questions (like what half and full meant for serving sizes) and talked to the counter staff. The staff were all very friendly and clearly there with the goal to provide an enjoyable food experience. First question, on sizes half (for quesadillas anyways) meant 3 pieces (or 1 folded tortilla) and large meant 6 (2). They had a birria menu going so I figured I'd try this seasonal option (which only came in half size). The agua frescas offer three options (pineapple, jamaica, and horchata) - after tasting I went with the horchata. The staff member was helpful with my navigating options and ensuring that ingredients were suitable for my taste. Pricing felt a bit steep overall, coming in at around $18 for half quesadilla (3 pieces) and a large drink. Though I did appreciate that the agua frescas were similar cost to fountain (~$4). While it is a local and smaller option, it's hard to not compare the cost to that of a sit down restaurant. Taste was overall excellent fortunately! The quesadilla was flavorful (though difficult to dip in the birria, which was kind of the point - I'd recommend perhaps considering smaller cut sizes instead of sticking with the three?) and I appreciated the queso and sour cream additions. The agua fresca was alright, I've experienced better elsewhere. Overall, I'm glad I stopped in. The happy vibe and tasty food was a nice end to the day. I would certainly return but probably only if I happened to be in the area for their lunch options though as menu appeared to be bit more reasonable in cost for the offerings for my taste than the evening pricing. I'm definitely curious to see how this chain expands in the future!

Strawberry mango margarita

This is the second location I've been too and wasn't disappointed! My drink was absolutely delicious. The strawberry mango margarita was honestly so refreshing and tasty, definitely a go to drink of mine. I forgot to take a pic of our tacos, but we got pastor, chicken, and carnitas. They were super good. We went on taco Tuesday where you can get 3 tacos, a drink, and chips & salsa for $10. Everyone there was super sweet. You can order on the screen or with a worker. They were playing great Spanish music that fit the ambiance!

Went for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. The place wasn't busy at this time. The girl who took our order was nice she let me sample the horchata before getting it. The agua fresca horchata was good. Kevin got the strawberry mango margarita, it was so delicious. Starting at 3pm they have a happy hour on the margaritas. We got the birria quesadilla and I regret it. It was greasy and had no flavor. We ordered queso but wish they girl had told us the birria quesadilla comes with a side of queso. It also comes with sour cream and the birria dipping sauce. Wish we ordered the tacos instead. If I was to go back it would be for the happy hour and to try the tacos.

The service was really good, staff was super friendly, the ambiance was good, music not super loud, it was nice. The food was ok, I believe it can improve, but it was a nice experience. Their churros a bit underdone for my taste, but good flavor. Will definitely come back

Had the birria tacos with consomé and an horchata for pickup . Taste was good, tacos had a good amount of meat on them as well.

Very good food but portions are small. You typically have to order add-ons to get even politely full.

Disclaimer: this review is for the lunch buffet only…read more I went with my family to try the $18.49 all you can eat lunch buffet. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

I bought 3 chicken tacos (about 12 dollars), then sat in an empty table to wait. It was ready for me in under 10 minutes. The tacos were small, but they had a good amount of chicken, cheese, onions, tomato, and cilantro. A choice of sauce was included, and I took the hot red sauce. The sauce was small, but still ample enough to pour over the three tacos. The flavors were pretty good (thanks to the heat from the sauce) and it was filling enough for me, though the flour tortillas was a bit too hard for me. The service was pretty good, though I ordered from the kiosk and I picked up my order after they called my name. However, they did check up on me, as well a provided water to cops, and removed empty items from the tables. The staff were quite friendly. The dining area was small and a bit boring. There were 2TVs showing ads for their products, and 1 displaying a horse race. The restaurant was quite cramped, and I was thankful to find a table. It's located in downtown, so parking will be either in a meter or a garage. This restaurant serves pretty good tacos at a reasonable price, but the atmosphere was a bit bland for a taqueria. It was also small and can get crowded and full easily. Best to have this to go or delivered. It's still a nice restaurant for tacos in downtown.
