Salsa options

Ambiance was decent, but music was extremely loud. Placed speaker next to water and seemed to be blaring louder than most other restaurants. Service seemed to lack in refilling the salsa bar and cleaning tables after guests leave. Food was just blah! Super bland and no flavor. Had Carne Asada Burrito, with Jasmine rice, beans and onions. Found it strange they use Jasmine rice too. Was disappointed.

It was late and we were hungry and this little spot worked well. Friendly service and the food came out quickly. We got the queso to start and it tasted good, but it was soupy and the cheese was separated so you had to kind of dig to get the gooey cheese along with the saucy part. The carne asada quesadilla and the chicken empanadas were great; the burrito was just ok. The problem was they use plain white rice and a lot of it, so the burrito didn't have much flavor. I found myself eating the half of the burrito with the meat cheese etc and avoiding the rice half. It would be vastly improved if they used Spanish rice and used less of it.

Frozen margarita and shot of Patron

I went here for dinner on a Saturday night, sitting at the bar, and had an excellent experience. The bartender, whose name I neglected to ask, took care of me for drinks and food. He was excellent and I thank him, and I wish I got his name. I did not get a receipt so I can't even look it up. The restaurant's ambience is casual. You order at the counter and check out at the cashier. I guess they bring your food to you but I am not sure about that. The menu has all the usuals--tacos, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, fajitas, and the rest. I sat at the bar because I was solo and started with a house frozen with a shot of Patron. The frozen margarita was ok but not very strong so that is where the shot came in handy. Next up was the house lime margarita which I asked for with no ice so I got half a glass. But it was tasty. I liked it. To break up the drinking I ordered two original tacos, one ground beef and one grilled chicken on soft flour tortilla. They were $4.50 each, which is reasonable. I liked both and both were very tasty, but I liked the beef more because it had more flavor and there was more of it. The chicken taco seemed to be not much chicken and a lot of lettuce. Last, I finished with a Ceneto which is a combo of tequila and mezcal with curraco juice. It was smoky and smooth and absolutely delicious. I should have been drinking those al along!! Overall, the drinks were very good. The service was friendly and professional. And the food was quite tasty. Not the absolute best Tex-Mex I have had, but nothing to complain about. I liked this place and would definitely return again. The best part is that after drinking three margaritas I did not get run over on the busy road that separates the restaurant from the hotel. So it was a successful night.

Empanadas

We came in for dinner one evening and it was our first time so we needed a second to look at the menu. You order at the counter so the staff showed us where we can get the menu. The food menu didn't include the drinks menu and I didn't realize it until we were at the counter and the drinks menu was there, so I hurriedly ordered. They gave us two festive flamingo stickers because it was December/the holiday season. That was friendly. The bathroom was very clean. It was crowded inside but we managed to find a table for two. The staff came by during our meal to make sure we were ok. The food was good. I liked the taco and the empanadas and the salad was decent too. I would like to try more menu items...as well as the drinks! In all, we had a welcoming and delicious experience at this Lime.

Chicken fajitas
Lauren H.

We stopped by over the weekend because it was within walking distance from our hotel. We shared a chicken fajita meal, but I was a tad disappointed. I wish it was a couple dollars more so that we had more chicken. It was also pretty flavorless... it tasted just like grilled chicken but with no taco/fajita seasonings. The chicken empanadas were good, but almost tasted like something you'd get at Costco in the frozen section. They were about half full, so half of the time you were just eating the empanada dough. The chips and queso were yummy. It did take about 30 minutes to get our food. In my opinion, did not seem that busy and other people were waiting, just as long as us who got there before us, but it seemed a tad long to wait in my opinion. I will say that the prices were fair for almost every single food item!

Pork Taco

TL;DR Go to Taco Bell. The tacos will be hotter, cheaper and MAT (Make A T). It Will also be frustration free. Food is cold and nothing served at the same time. Atmosphere is very loud. With a party of three who were a bit hungry, we ordered street corn as an appetizer to share. It was brought out at the same time as our meals. It's probably 4 ounces in size and served with a spoon. No chips...at all. One spoon. No way to share. My wife and I got the same thing one American Taco and one Pork Taco. The flavor of both were good and could be better if they were served warm, if not hot. Yup, all four tacos were cold. (Ice, Ice Baby). We were too hungry to send them back and worried about getting clean food in return. Our son's burrito was hot but it came off the griddle to the table 5 minutes after the tacos off did. I know what you're thinking. Our tacos were cold because we waited for his food to come out. Sadly, no. We were hungry and did not wait. We started eating without him. We were still hungry and went back for another order of street corn but added chips and salsa and churros. We were brought out chips with an empty bowl and instructed to fill it from the salsa bar. It had so much potential. However, there were only two salsas available from the bar. The rest were empty. WTF? Who's watching this thing? I selected the only one salsa on the hot side with 4 fire emblems and it lacked heat and favor. So very lame. When I asked the person who collected our plate if they could refill the salsa bar, she told me to go find the person in charge of the bar and pointed in a general area. WTF? This place is shit show with so much potential. I ordered a Modelo Negro and received a regular Modelo. For what you get, it's so very over priced. Go to Taco Bell. The food will be at least hot, cheaper and Make A T.

4 Rivers Burrito

When my wife and I first started dating, yes many many moons ago, we used to visit the Lime Fresh Mexican Grill located in the Sand Lake area. Sadly it closed and we hadn't had Lime since then. So when we learned that there was a Lime in our area, we had to go check it out. We walked in and saw this place had a nice little bar, and thought it had a nice little vibe. At first we were very confused on where to queue up and where to get a menu. As, we dinned we noticed this was a common issue. Maybe they should have a little sign with an arrow directing you where to queue, and have menus available along the wall. My wife and I both ordered burrito's and we decided to get a side of the Street Corn. I was excited to see they had a 4 Rivers BBQ burrito, and my queso loving wife, ordered a queso burrito. We paid for our order and sat down and waited. And we waited some more. Our food finally was delivered. The mexican street corn was ok, seemed to have a lot of pico de guio on it and was lacking that good mexican cheese. Probably wouldn't get it again. We also thought the size for the price was a little small. My burrito was really good, I loved 4 Rivers BBQ flavor in the burrito. My wife burrito was sad and very dissapointing. It was the most dry and flavorless burrito. At first she wasn't going to say anything, but she decided to go to the counter and mention it was dry, then she ordered some sour cream, which she was charged for. She thought that would help with the dryness, but it did not. She spoke to someone and they offered to replace it. A few minutes later she was presented with a new burrito. The new burrito was much better, it actually had queso in it and was not so dry, it was still missing one of the ingredients, but it was an improvement. Being a very observant person, I could not help but notice how overstaffed this place was. At one point I counted 6 people behind the counter, standing there doing nothing. This does not include the person who appeared to be a manager who walked around the restaurant alot, but never spoke to anyone of the customers or checked to see how things were. This person was near our table when we spoke to someone about the poor queso burrito the first time and was leaning along the counter, when my wife went up to the counter to reorder. I wish I knew the name of the one person who never stopped working, he keep the tables clean, the floor swept, and the salsa bar stocked. Not impressed with the lack of service, quality, or management,

First time at a Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, and it was a good first impression. It was not overly busy on the day we went, but there were still plenty of seats, and ordering was fast and easy. It is not a very big place, but it does have good seating available, and the food came out hot and quickly. I had the quesadillas and they were very good. This is a good spot if you want a quick meal and do not want to wait for a table at one of the bigger Mexican restaurants in the area.

Carne Asada Bowl
Rebecca C.

Classic Tex Mex spot. Convenient, quick, and good options. Really hit the spot for dinner. A little bit pricier than expected, and not every order comes with free chips. There's a free salsa bar with 8 types of salsas, tomatoes, corn, jalapeños, and cilantro. The carne asada bowl was a standard rice bowl. The steak was decent, not super flavorful but ok quality. For drinks, they have a lovely bar! In addition to their extensive tequila menu, you can order custom drinks. we just had a simple limeade and vodka, which had the perfect ratio and tasted so fresh.

Lime is located in the Flamingo Crossing Plaza near Disney. It's a very cool restaurant with a bar that serves inside and outside seating. We placed our orders pretty easily, but I believe the price is what is keeping this a 5 star for me. The food quality is good, the hot sauce and condiment bar is a very nice touch and for the most part it was clean in the restaurant. I also asked for extra tortilla chips because I had barely any with the burrito. This wouldn't necessarily stray me away from coming back, though.

Every visit we've had here has been consistently good. Service is usually attentive, the food comes out quickly, and most importantly the quality is always excellent and reliable. This time around we tried something new: the Azteca chicken soup, and it absolutely blew me away. It was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Best chicken tortilla soup I've had. For our entrees, my husband ordered the al pastor tacos with sides of rice and beans, and I stuck with my usual: the Grande Combination with a chicken enchilada in mole sauce, a chile relleno, black beans, and plantains. The mole sauce is fantastic, and the chile relleno is one of the best I've ever had. We always leave here happy and full. Quick question for the chefs at Azteca D'Oro--do you have any seasonal specials coming up? Would love to try something new next time! Pro tip: Don't skip the Azteca chicken soup--it might just ruin other tortilla soups for you.

From the outside, the restaurant is pretty unassuming, but if you've spent time eating at authentic Mexican spots, you know that's usually a good sign. Inside, it's small and quaint and honestly feels like you've stepped into someone's home kitchen in the best way. We ordered plain bean and cheese burritos to-go (a true test for any Mexican spot) along with a small order of chips. While waiting about 10 minutes for our food, we loaded up at the salsa bar. We tried four salsas: roasted tomato, enchilada, habanero, and tomatillo, and every single one tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. Serious salsa bar goals. If I had to rank them, the roasted tomato and tomatillo were my favorites, but honestly you can't go wrong with any of them. Then came the burritos. One bite immediately took us right back to the LA food trucks we grew up with--simple, comforting, and exactly what a good bean and cheese burrito should be. Finally, a bean and cheese burrito that tastes like California. I wish I had taken photos, but honestly... I was too excited and dug right in. Safe to say we'll be back soon. This has officially become our new go-to spot for Mexican takeout. Pro tip: Don't skip the salsa bar--grab a few different ones and experiment.

We ended up being seated, but had to wait for them to clear off a booth because they didn't wanna seat in the other section. They clearly had closed off. We ordered our food, but our server seemed really disengaged like she was just going through the motions. Food came out super quickly.
