First time at Chuy's and it definitely lived up to the hype. I ordered the 3 crispy veggie tacos with Mexican rice and refried beans, and everything was great!!! The tacos had the perfect crunch and were generously stuffed, which I really appreciated. For appetizers, I got the guacamole with extra serrano peppers. If you like spice I definitely recommend asking for the extra serranos because it really hits the spot. I also tried the Boom Boom sauce, and it's easy to see why it's so popular -- super flavorful with a nice kick. The chips and salsa along with the creamy jalapeño sauce were a great way to start the meal too. The chips had a great crunch, fresh and not greasy at all!!! Shoutout to our waitress Alejandra -- she was incredibly sweet, patient, and made the whole experience even better. Overall, great food, great service, and colorful environment. Let's get into it, this casual sit down has its roots in Austin, TX. Peruse the menu while you fight the temptation to polish off a basket of their chips and salsa and Creamy Jalapeno Sauce and, speaking of the menu, it is the same here as it is back home. My go-to's include the Big As Yo Face Burrito (bean and cheese) smothered in Boom-Boom Sauce, Guacamole Soft Tacos, the Veggie Enchiladas, and when I am feeling real big back that Chuychanga (also always smothered in Boom-Boom Sauce. Chuy's has not only a great drink menu but full bar if their options are not your speed. Side note that they do not offer draft beer, but do have a selection of bottles and cans. Service has always been reliable as has the food quality. If there is a wait, you can join the wait list remote via the Chuy's website. One of my favorite parts of Chuy's is the creamy jalapeno sauce and chips, not too spicy but with a little kick. I got the cheese relleno with chicken enchilada combo. The cheese relleno was delicious! Nice crispy coating with plenty of cheese filling in the pepper. Enchilada was also good, but needed some additional sauce as the chicken was a bit dry. Casual ambiance on the patio, which was dog friendly, exactly what we were looking for. The only thing holding my rating back was the service unfortunately. We had to ask several times for water refills, additional sauces, and napkins before they were brought. Overall the food was great, but the service could be improved. I've been coming here for years and it never disappoints. It's comfort food for me. It's reliable and dependable. This location is quite large and even has outdoor seating. It does get busy in the evenings but I've never had to wait long. I take everyone here. Family and friends and large parties and small. They serve you complimentary chips and salsa. If they don't offer it, get the creamy jalapeño sauce as well. It's my ride or die. They have a ton of options. My go to order is the Chuychanga with rice and beans. It's always fried to perfection. We came here on a whim because it was in the area we were in and I must say it actually was good for what it was! So I'm not the biggest fan of TexMex as I grew up with the authentic goodness of what can be found on the streets of Southern California but this was not that at all but more or less a completely different experience that was more or less unique for me. We got some chips and salsa right as we were seated and to my surprise one of them was a jalapeño dip but I didn't find any in it as it more or less tasted like a good ranch to me then the other salsa was just your basic salsa nothing too crazy nothing spicy at all well at least to me as I'm the wrong person to ask when it comes to spice as I rarely find anything that's hot. For food I ordered Kings Memorial and it was a combination of 3 different enchiladas with 3 different sauces on them each of them being good in their own way but all very similar at the same time making for one big enchilada but I enjoyed it as it all tasted good with a slight twist, the platter came with a taco too just your standard ground beef one but it was still good and hit the spot for the night. Overall our service was awesome and very friendly our food was super hot and actually pretty good like I was actually kinda surprised but either way it's what's good and who knows maybe I'll make it back here again at some point because it was a cool change from the Mexican food that we normally seek out! read more

Service is efficient and friendly, but it's the food and margaritas that keep us coming back. My husband is obsessed with their giant burrito and I go back and forth between the flatuas and tortilla soup. The atmosphere makes you feel like you're welcome in the chef's home. If you like dogs, sit in the bar area; trust me! I don't know what I'd do without Chuy's to take the edge off of a stressful work week. I can't say enough about this place!. One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever been to. From the chips and salsa to the appetizers and the main course the food was amazing. Everything had great flavor! The service from the time we walked in until we left the waitress was absolutely fantastic. The food came out cold, tasted terrible, and on top of that it wasn't even what I ordered. We waited forever just to get the wrong meal, and then had to wait even longer to fix it. This place is busy and we know why. The food and a lot of it. Walked in around 6pm. Party of two. Waited about 20 minutes and we were seated. Scott our waiter was hustling to keep things moving, but we never felt rushed. That's a good thing. Food came out hot and fast. The salsa and the white stuff was off the charts. The food was fresh and hot. Oh and the price for two without alcohol $45. Just where are you going to get a great meal for that price and can't eat it all. Yes we recommend this place. My daughter and I arrived in Orlando last Thursday evening and made Chuy's on W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy in Kissimmee our first meal stop after checking in to our hotel. We'd seen it featured in many of Adam the Woo's vlogs and had to experience it ourselves. We're native Californians so we have had lots of Mexican cuisine. Upon arriving, the outside of the restaurant was well lit, clean, and inviting. We were welcomed by gracious hosts who seated us promptly. The decor was interesting and eye catching everywhere we looked and set the tone for our dining experience. We were greeted by our server Scott, who was attentive, hospitable, and made us feel like we were the only customers in this busy restaurant. I can confidently say that he provided the best service I have ever experienced. Scott brought out a huge basket of tortilla chips and generous servings of salsa and queso dip which were delicious. My daughter and I each ordered the King's Memorial Combo which included a beef enchilada with Tex-Mex sauce, a chicken enchilada with tomatillo sauce, and a cheese enchilada with ranchero sauce. It also came with a beef taco and tostada chips with creamy queso, and beans and rice. The portions were very generous and I knew when it was delivered to our table that I was going to be bringing some leftovers with me. The food was savory and delicious, and the price was outrageously inexpensive for the amount of food. My wife and I stopped in to Chuy's for the first time. We had lunch. We are on vacation down here for a few weeks. Wow Chuy's was so good. We got the CHUYCHANGA and shared it. It was big enough for the both of us to share and we both were full afterwards. Loved all the ingredients they used and it was very tasty! Definitely recommend this dish! The chips and salsa were very good as well. The salsa had a great taste and the ranch cheese dip was amazing that came with the chip and salsa. Our waitress Holly was very friendly and did a great job. Our food came out very hot. The restaurant was decorated very nice with Mexican themed. The interior is decorated with colorful decor and fun pictures. We tried the combo fajitas for 2. The portion was very large. The chicken had a blackened flavor to it which we enjoyed. The steak was a bit chewy which made it more difficult to enjoy in a tortilla. The onions and peppers and rice and beans were standard. The standouts were the queso and jalapeño dip. Every time we've been to this location we've had incredible service and the food has never disappointed. The decor is reminiscent of some of our favorite restaurants in New Mexico with the added bonus of the bar with all the pet pictures on the walls. Chuy's is a local Mexican restaurant, with different locations around the Orlando area. This one in particular is the closest to our home, only about 15 minutes from Winter Garden, located on 192 near Disney and Kissimmee. We have been here numerous times with my in laws as well as my wife and I. Their vibe is very colorful, lots of things to look at; pictures, hubcap ceilings, and funny teeshirts which they actually sell. Booths and tables are available, as well as tables outside and bar seating. This location is pretty popular for tourists staying nearby as well as locals dining in. The wait can get pretty long if you are going later in the evening. We try to go early especially when the family is here. The positive about having to wait, is the bar area. They make great margaritas and go perfect with the food. You can also order drinks at your table. My wife loves the Mango margaritas, and I prefer more of the classic, but I have tried a few different kinds. They are all actually really good. Your meals start with their chips, which are thin, salty and always served hot. They also have a very chunky style salsa. We also really like the creamy jalapeno sauce; you have to ask for it sometimes. But it so delicious and we love it with the chips. This sauce does have a kick though, which I enjoy. I usually order the same thing, the Cobb salad. It is huge, very fresh and actually really tasty. I also tend to like the fajitas, sometimes my wife and I will share the fajitas for two. She usually gets the cheese enchiladas with tex mex sauce and no beans, double rice. She also likes to add cheese to the rice and add the creamy jalapeno sauce to it. The other dishes we have tried are the burritos (giant), the tortilla soup and the fried avocado, which used to be a special. I haven't seen it in a while, but it was delicious. The fajitas are really tasty and something we ordered a lot to-go during the pandemic as a way to help the restaurants and because we didn't want to cook. They come with the classic toppings and fresh flour tortillas. All of their tortillas are made fresh in house. Overall, we love this type of food and for a "chain" this one is pretty good. It is probably our favorite chain Mexican restaurant around us. Everything seems fresh, the servers are usually always nice (the hostesses not so much) but great service from the servers. Told we would get a table in 30 minutes and it took 1 hour and 25 minutes. We have 4 young children and waited from 6:35pm to 8pm for a table. We waited and watched party after party seated before us. They do not accept reservations. If they were honest with the wait time, we would have gone somewhere else. The hostess kept ignoring our complaints. There is one bartender who was excellent. Our server was incredible and working so hard! I have never been to a restaurant with a worse hostess. As we were headed out, our family member overheard her tell the male host that she made us wait longer because we kept voicing our concerns at the hour mark!!Terrible experience in Orlando during an awesome trip. Delicious, affordable, and always has great service. The ambiance in Chuy's is very "Austin-weird" with retro vibes but in the best way possible. The food is phenomenal (order a side of jalapeno ranch), just be prepared to pass out from the carb spike after eating the generous amount of food they give out.
