I, like many, find myself driving further to eat at TiJuana Flats with Kirkman and Dr. Phillips closing. I ordered Chimichanga, beef, cheese, lettuce & tomato. What I got was Beef inside. Tomato and a cup of cheese on the side. The receipt was non-descriptive, so I couldnt tell if they made it wrong or entered the details wrong. Our last night in Orlando called for something quick, affordable, and easy before heading back to Chicago, so we stopped at Tijuana Flats. I was first introduced to this Florida-based chain while visiting Tampa, and it's still one of my go-to spots for fast, casual Mexican food.The portions are huge, prices are reasonable, and the food comes out fast. Tijuana flats - While I don't necessarily love chains , sometimes when you're in the touristy area you don't have much of a choice. And Tijuana flats has amazing taco Tuesday deals:) I want to give a shout-out to the person running the cashier and the restaurant when we came in. I believe their name was Patrick but they were absolutely outstanding. I'm talking greeting us and everyone AS SOON AS THEY WALKED IN THE DOOR. That level of customer service does not happen anymore. Patrick also thanked us as we left. This person definitely knew how to run the place and how to demonstrate great customer service . I ended up ordering the fish tacos which I thought were pretty good (though expensive as they were not on the happy hour) and my friend got a burrito. It cost around 27 dollars for the two meals which wasn't great but, around the I drive areas that's pretty much what you can expect these days. For the customer service alone I would go back, it was well kept, clean, and the person ( I don't want to gender stereotype) was top notch for fast food customer service. I'll definitely stop in on another Tuesday and utilize their better prices so as to get something cheaper! read more

Fresh "fast" food, friendly service, tasty little hot sauce bar (try Jason's Mom's sauce and all the Call me Sallys). Dos Tacos on Taco Tuesday is my go-to, but many dishes are yummy. We're fans of this place. We want it to succeed. All of the businesses in this area are new--most have only been here a year of so. Everything is nice and clean. The parent company is struggling through Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. So many restaurants are just barely making it, or doing poorly. It was Taco Tuesday, and my wife ordered that special while I got a bowl with a Negra Modelo on tap. The beer was good. I finally found a piece of chicken in my bowl, and my wife's tacos were so skimpy that they were almost all lettuce with a wee bit of cheese, but even that was a drive by...and like my meal, likely could have passed as ovo-lacto-vegetarian. WORST OF ALL THEY WERE COLD!!! We picked at them and left. Management is making the same mistake they made at the now-closed Dr Phillips location--letting a couple of teenagers run the joint. Wake up owners and managers--at this rate you will suffer the same fate as most of the other locations (all closed). read more

This is the new location by the White Castle and boy oh boy you can tell it's new. It's nice and clean right now, and the service was amazing. I will say all the food came out quick and it was hot and fresh. We had no issues when we went here. I will for sure be back to this location. read more

It's decent. This is one of those Mexican-inspired places that's decent without being particularly amazing. The food comes out fast and fresh, but the flavor is a bit lacking and the portion sizes are a little small. The staff seem to work hard here, so I don't think it's a staffing issue as much as it is a recipe and management issue. This is a new location on Palm Parkway. We went on a Thursday and there was only one worker. There was a family ahead of us who had a big order so we had to wait for more than 15 minutes. When our turn came up, I got the chimichanga and loaded nachos. My husband also got some chicken tacos. The food itself was an overload of salt and the nachos were just sloppy, not great distribution of the fixings that are supposed to go on top. Since this location is low staffed, there is a wait and honestly, the food just isn't worth the wait here. Yes the location is clean but the quality of food is poor compared to the other tijuana flats locations I've been to. I would not be back. read more

Tijuana Flats is my go to for quick service Mexican in the Orlando area and this newer location does a good job of maintaining that consistent experience that keeps bringing me back. Food is tasty although proteins don't have a ton of flavor without adding something to them. Love their seasoned chips to go with their good salsa. This location is a big of a departure in decor from others with a bright and colorful decor and bright lighting but it works and is good to help the chain evolve. They seem to have a severe staffing issue here just like everyplace else in the area, but hopefully that settles itself out eventually! read more

My family and I loved it because we got a burrito, chips, and a drink for $7.99 each, which was such a bargain and it had an amazing selection of meats. The workers were very kind and friendly and they clarified what burrito was which, and was very helpful. Just wanted to leave a review because the staff was so nice and attentive! The cashier (I believe her name was Keauna or something like that so sorry if it's wrong) but she was so nice over the phone and in person . The BOH also came out to verify and check my order for me which I thought was nice because it's normally the cashiers that do (it in my experience). The location was also SUPER clean which was very nice because a lot of times they are messy around these times of day . Honestly I was very disappointed! My husband and I eat out every day for lunch and have been to many different locations! This was the worst experience we have had !!!! I had ordered the chicken chimichanga and what should be fried was most definitely not but either put in a microwave or on a flat top grill for a very short time . It took us 30 minutes to get and there was only 1 other customer in there. And when speaking to the manager she just said that you for your input so I can address this for next time . Smdh so sad that while waiting for food to be made it sounded like they were having a party in the kitchen and then to be absolutely horrible was very disappointing!
