It is a crafty approach actually. Twice the exposure on the review sites. [Even more confusing, there is a sign on the side of the building that says "Sunnyside Steakhouse"] The two names should give you a clue of cuisines served. If you guessed Mexican/American, you got it. On the menu this morning we found regular American breakfast food and huevos rancheros, Mexican potatoes and chorizo potatoes. You can mix the two cuisines to suit your preference. My wife and I both ordered The Pipeliner. A perfect name for a meal served up in "The pipeline capital of the world Cushing, OK." Two eggs, two bacon strips, potatoes of your choice, Toast or a biscuit. My wife chose the Mexican potatoes and I went with the spicy chorizo potatoes and a biscuit. Check the pictures. This was an excellent breakfast!! The restaurant/café is very nice. It has a steak house ambiance. Clean comfortable and superb service. This is your breakfast in Cushing OK! Hanging near the kitchen area is a large screen TV that has a loop of local businesses advertisements. Today's winner's slogan encourages customer to "drop their pants." My husband had the Cobb with grilled chicken and I had a chipotle bowl with shredded chicken. The Cobb salad was fresh and delicious. The Chipotle salad was good but, for me, it had too much rice and they must have been out of the black bean corn salsa because it didn't have any. However, the BBQ sauce and chipotle dressing gave the salad lots of flavor. For dessert we shared a pecan caramel brownie fresh from the oven and it was DELICIOUS! We also made a couple of orders for catering over the holidays...this is a one stop shop for all the yums!! We will be back!

There are somethings right off the bat that I would recommend. Post your hours on your business, I mean cool, you have them on Facebook/Google, but yeah, I think sometimes old school practices make for good business. Came in on a Wednesday around 4, no one was there except for the owner and her two daughters. We sat ourselves, which was appreciated with my mom in a wheel chairs, thankful they have a ramp entrance also. The menu is not really basic, but really does not have any direction, it just seems like it is a match up of this and that. It could use a little professional touch, but I'm here for the food, not to critique everything. The food was good. I had the breakfast sandwich and my mom had the Taco Salad. Didn't take long to get everything maybe 5-10 minutes most. It was fresh. Good taste through and through. I had expected the sweets to be arranged for viewing on or the menu, but instead you have to ask them what they have. So they had brownies, reese's covered brownies, and I was told in the back that they had pumpkin roll cookies and currently baking chocolate chip cookies. We got the brownies. Win. The main reason I am giving this place 4/5 is because I have not idea what two of the charges were. I mean I'm assuming the brownies, but bakery open and kitchen open on a receipt just looks weird. Did not expect the bill to be almost $40. At least at that price I would figure you would get a side with the entree. Side note, if you are paying in cash, check the cash back. Thankfully the manager caught that one of her daughters gave me the wrong amount back, because it wasn't displayed, when I asked for a receipt. Overall a quaint business, and I wish them the best, but just for the price, there are other places I feel that I could get more food for less.

Airy, clean and friendly. There's a TV near the front that plays videos from the couple's YouTube channel. They feature videos of clean living, camping and beyond. If this isn't the incarnation of Mayberry in the 21st Century... So heartwarming and wholesome! I ambled up to the counter and ordered a mocha, hoping the chocolate would mask the undoubtedly bitter espresso... Who expects to get a perfect pull of crema on their espresso in a small town?? Not I--past experience has me expecting very little from rural baristas. When Little T walked around the counter to hand deliver my coffee I was delighted and impressed. What a cute couple! I love supporting small local businesses for interactions like this. But when I walked outside and took a sip I damn near dropped my coffee! The delectable espresso was delightfully folded in with semisweet chocolate and encased in perfectly textured milk foam. Wow. Let me bookmark this cafe as a nexus of good taste! Kudos!

The ambiance was quaint, with a country style, homey, laid back. The picnic style table with vlear top threw me for a minute, as you can see through the cracks. Service is where the err was apparent. Initially, the waitress was on point, but after her first pass by, when she asked if everything was OK, I requested bbq sauce. She disappeared into the kitchen, then brought something out to a different table. She went to sit with a co-worker at another table. My husband got up and walked over to the table to ask for bbq sauce. We waited, but no action. The woman at the same table was yelling to someone in the back. There was a claim that the machinery wasn't working, as the guy behind us was skipped for awhile. The cook came out. My husband asked HIM for bbq sauce. Eventually, the waitress brought a cup, but at this point, it was pretty much moot. We dipped a few fries in as a show of good sport, but it was too little, too late. When I went to pay, the cook rang us up and gave us a discount. He apologized and explained the mechanical deficiencies . I gave the waitress the balance of the discount, so everyone was happy.
