I would definitely recommend Scott and his company to anyone that has these gopher or other rodent or pests in your yard. After trying to get rid of these rodents in our backyard for a couple of days, we were fed up and decided to call around. Scott was one of the few that actually return to our message. He scheduled for a meeting the very next day and came to our house to explain his processes as well as different options we had. He charge $225 for three visits over a period of one month. He set up some 7 traps in the backyard and within 2 hours, one of the traps was triggered! We gave him permission to visit our backyard while we were at work and he kept a good communication with us throughout the process. He asked for permission to show us pictures of the Gopher that was caught and I appreciated that gesture to his customer. Couple of days later , we noticed one of the traps was triggered and gave him another call. He came by again the very next day to address the traps. We're glad to to report that we haven't seen any activity in the backyard and happy to be rid of these pests. Although the backyard landscaping is ruined, we're glad that Scott was quick to respond, very professional and great at communicating with us the process and updates. read more

When we moved to Trilogy Vinyards, we had no experience with gophers .... our gardener advised us to remove the lawn and install gopher wire.... he wanted to redo the entire lawn which would cost a few thousand dollars. When we contacted the GOPHER GUY he came over and did an inspection and told us what we were confronted with .... he installed some traps; which were very successful and we have not seen a gopher or any evidence of any gopher or mole activity since...........And the cost was extremely affordable. He was informative, congenial and extremely knowledgeable.... HIS SERVICE WAS EXTREMELY COST EFFECTIVE .... we highly recommend GOPHER GUY GOPHER GUY read more

I highly recommend Scott the Gopher Guy! Very professional, pleasant to work with an effective.

The gopher guys were reliable and did the trick getting rid of our gophers that were destroying our grass. They did not ask for any upfront money until the gophers were gone. It's not a cheap proposition, however we did get results. read more

I was having a terrible problem with gophers in my backyard. I contracted Scott to try and help me. He set his traps that were a joke. One gopher came right up next to the trap. He came back and used his oxygen tank, He only used it in 2 spots. Gophers were still active. He came back and took his traps out. Within a week there were more holes and damage from the gophers. I called Scott and he said his contract was fulfilled because he came 3 times. The 3rd time he came was only to get his traps. I feel I was ripped off and had to go a different direction with my pest control company. Don't waste your money! read more

Very effective and communicative. He was timely, thorough, knew what he was doing and handled the job with ease.

Great service and no more gophers !! Communication was clear and timely and service was great!

I have used Scott twice, the first time Scott was successful at catching a gopher. I had another animal show up a year + later and I called Scott again. This time Scott was not able to catch the animal in his traps, on his second return to check his traps he suggested he use Co2 to try to suffocate the animal. While we have no confirmation he killed any animals, I was still plagued with damage in my yard. I called Scott five months later to discuss the situation, I'm lazy and that was my fault. There was no warranty, which I understand the terms. Because the animal was on both my neighbors property and my property Scott wanted my neighbor to share the costs. My neighbor was fine with Scott working on his property but not willing to pay for services, his yard is a mess. The price Scott quoted me was WAY too high for me. Especially considering what I considered was "a miss" on Scott's previous attempt at killing the animal, Scott respectfully disagreed with "no proof an animal wasn't killed". I called another firm, got a dramatically lower quote and they caught an animal within a week. I normally don't post feedback but the pricing between the two firms was so dramatic I had to share, and they were successful (with proof) and professional. Scott is very communicative via text and he was successful at catching the first animal I hired him for, hence the three star rating I've given. Know the terms of your agreement, expect the possibility that no animal will be caught, and always shop around! read more

My mom had a problem with her plants. They were disappearing! We tried everything. Nothing was working. Then I saw a posting on our local Nextdoor app saying The Gopher Guy had helped them with gopher and mole problems. Well I called, he came out and poof. Problem solved. This review should have been written a year ago. I highly recommend calling the Gopher Guy. I first noticed my plants/flowers slowly disappearing out front until I noticed this gopher eating them right in front of me. I called the gopher guy and he came right over the same day and then followed up a few days later. Within a few visits the gopher problem was solved! Unfortunately a year and a half later the little guy came back. I called Scott and received the same exceptional service as I had before. The gopher guy is great! Highly recommend! read more

This is the guy to call to rid your rodents for good. Prompt, courteous and gets the job done.

I called them and they came out right away, same day. I had moles not gophers but they put out traps and were able to catch a bunch of them within two weeks. They checked in with me regularly and kept me up to date. Hopefully I don't have to use a service like this again but if I do, I'd definitely use them again. read more

We used Scott again a year or so after we used him the last time as we got another gopher infestation. Once again, he was prompt, communicated well, and effective. This time we needed to exercise his 30-day guarantee, which he honored, as we learned there were two gophers in our yard. He removed one in the first service and the other on a subsequent visit and we haven't had an issue since. We highly recommend the Gopher Guy. read more

We had him come to our home before the lockdown since we had a pest in the garden the was distorting it. Scott, was very nice and explained to me his process before he got to the property. He was very nice and took precautions because of the current situation when he got to the property and explained his plan to catch the pest. He set traps on the property and it caught the gopher that same day! I was delighted and the pests have not come back! I would definitely recommend his services and would definitely call him again if the pests return. Thank you Scott for all your help and saving my garden! read more

The best hands down. I booked the Gopher guy to take care of a gopher problem in my yard (think caddyshack) and he came out the next day and had a catch within two more days. Can't stress enough how great his customer service was! read more

Scott was very responsive to our gopher problem, which was complicated because the gopher was digging in our neighbors' yards as well. It took all three visits to get rid of it, but it's been over a week with no signs of Mr. Gopher or his buddies anymore. We are hoping he's gone for good, but if not, I wouldn't hesitate to call Scott back for another treatment. As for cost, I found it reasonable, especially if you compare it to the cost of redoing the landscape one of those little buggers can chew up practically overnight. Overall, we are very satisfied. read more

The Gopher Guy was a pleasure to work with. He was responsive to my inquiry and set up an appointment within a couple of days. He utilized a CO2 canister and injected gas in the gopher tunnels. I was a bit skeptical of the process, but it solved my problem. While the gopher was quite active until the CO2 treatment, I haven't seen a trace since the application and it's been about 3 weeks. The Gopher Guy provides 2 follow up appointments following his initial visit. While he also placed four traps, they weren't necessary as the gas did the trick. He is reasonably priced, honest, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend The Gopher Guy!! read more

What a great service. Critter was caught within 45 minutes of setting the trap! Highly recommend

Scott was a pleasure to work with. He is easy to talk to, answered my queries very quickly and scheduled us ASAP. He showed up on time and communicated clearly. I never expected to hire a gopher guy, but here we are. Those pesky critters were tearing up my lawn and I had enough. Scott thoroughly explained how the service worked. I sent him some photos of the damage, he gave me a quote, and he was here within the week to do his magic. It's been about 10 days and I haven't seen signs of any gophers or miles. The treatment was pet friendly (I have two dogs) and Scott followed up with me after a few days to see how things were going. A pleasure to work with, I highly recommend The Gopher Guy! read more
