The food here was pretty good...the one time I was able to order. They have online ordering, but you have to register. After registering and giving them all my information, they haven't sent my password. It's been a few days, and I even tried to go back and have my password re-sent, even though it hasn't been sent the first time yet. Still nothing. When I was visiting the campus of Lehigh University, I made sure that I stopped at the goose. It was highly recommended by locals that I asked and other students who had visited LU. and I can see why. The food is really great and also very reasonably priced. They have things like a tuna melt which they call the Guna melt and things like that. They have a good amount of seating inside and some outdoor seating as well. It is a family business and the employees were extremely kind. Also the deli was authentic and very casual, they have posters and things that represent the community. This place is a real gem. The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious and very reasonable for the portion sizes. We had looked at reviews and the menu before we went. My hubby found the secret menu. They have a variety of sandwiches. I was in the mood for corned beef so I had the gueben which is a Rueben. The meat was freshly sliced and lean. There was quite a bit of meat on my sandwich. My husband said he was very hungry so he got a scheuben which is a triple decker sandwich. It is basically a Reuben with a turkey sandwich above it and a rosy beef sandwich under it. It was a real mouthful and very tasty. It was only $7.49. They sell bottles of many types of beverages and all types of chips. We got 2 fountain drinks which were only 75 cents. They have several tables for eat in. There is street parking which is metered. We were there at 3 o'clock for a late lunch so there were several available parking spaces. We will definitely return. Their hoagies looked good.
