I'm surprised there has not been another review on this one. I've been here a few times and always a solid sub or panini. The homemade potato salad was memorable too. I first tried it about a year ago and have been back a few times when I've worked close by. I definitely plan to again. read more

I'm a little disappointed with Yelp on this one. It rated very high and had all the ingredients I look for. Small independent and off the beaten track of main st. I may have had a bad moment but the Italian hero was all chopped lettuce and I believe just ham. No spice and drenched in oil. They weren't busy and the guy was not very friendly either. I feel bad giving the thumbs down on this place. read more

Small with no indoor seating however I had a cooked vegetable pannini that was great and quite enjoyed the pasta salad too, better than I expected. And they ARE open on Saturdays, at least the afternoons, despite what is listed here. At least, as of this writing. read more

I used them to cater a lunch my company, "DuctZ" did for the Bethlehem firefighters. The catering menu had a nice selection and it was easy to customize with different choices of trays and sizes read more

So let me start as to why I gave this place 3 stars because I really wanted to give it a 2. The stars are because the staff is very nice and the menu looks pretty good, so maybe it was just what I had. So I had an Italian Sub that comes with macaroni salad and pickles. I love macaroni salad, but I like to taste something other than macaroni and mayo, it had no flavor, maybe a little pepper and salt would have helped it out. Now the sandwich, way more bread then meat, more lettuce then bread. The meat was sliced to thick on the sandwich, I tasted no oil, no vinegar, and no mayo even though I asked for it. I was going to get a cup of seafood chowder, but the sample I had tasted a little to fishy I may go back to try something different but I'm in no rush. read more

What a great place for lunch. Reasonable prices and a reasonable lunch. What I love a about a good hoagie is that there's no place to hide. You either use quality ingredients or you serve Subway. read more

Delicious food. Locally owned shop by a guy just working to make his dream a reality. Friendly and quiet. Small but quaint with outside seating. Classic food choices and some uniquely delicious combinations of things you wouldn't have thought of. You can call ahead and they cater. Professional and friendly. It would be nice to see this place grow and be able to get into a bigger shop with more seating. I ate the chicken capi panini... The flavors were fantastic. read more

Voracious Deli - The reason behind the name - Delis Near Me - Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

I have nothing but good things to say. I was recently a vendor at Bethlehem's outside Christmas village and the nice folks from Voracious delivered is menus and offered free delivery. Food was to us within fifteen minutes and was delicious. Prices are reasonable. I mean, $8 for a roast beef panini delivered? I paid twice that for some awful pizza using door dash the week before. Even though my time as a vendor is over here, I'll definitely be coming back for the roast beef pizziaola! read more

Just found the Voracious Catering and Deli at 77 W. Broad St Unit 9C in Bethlehem, PA 18018, 610.866.2912. Went on the Wine and Soup crawl at the Bethlehem Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011. Chef and owner Charles Moretz, Jr was serving a really great organic and locally grown Butternut Squash soup with a hint of honey. It was absolutely wonderful, full flavored, not too heavy, and not too sweet as some often are. My favorite soup by far. Got there just after lunch and he was offering a Waffle and Chicken dish so I tried that as I haven't had it for a number of years. My experiences have been the "Southern" version where the chicken is fried and the waffle is served breakfast style with whipped butter and syrup. Chef Charles's version is the PA Dutch style, two plain waffles with stewed, pulled chicken served in a (light) gravy. A small order is actually enough for two moderately hungry people eating smart. Let me tell you, this is out of this world good! Please go there and try this so he will keep it on the menu! You won't be sorry, it really is that good. Deeply flavorful, perfectly cooked and expertly pulled stewed chicken. Light and flavorful waffles and the gravy is light and very tasty! Truly gourmet food for a pittance!! (Small order $3.50, Large $5.50!) He could very easily turn this chicken into a pulled BBQ chicken sandwich dish as well! (Maybe put it on the waffles?) read more

These folks catered our vow renewal ceremony at The Sun Inn in Bethlehem a few weekends ago and we could not have made a better choice. Everyone loved the food and the owner and his wife were a true pleasure to deal with. We had prime rib, pasta, hours d'oeuvre's, salad - pretty much the works, and they absolutely crushed it. Their staff was super nice and I've gotten all kinds of good feedback from our guests. Everything was delicious and everyone left happy. Highly recommended. read more
