The fish was flaky and tasty. I slathered salt and vinegar over the lot. It was all spectacular. The owner was super friendly and even brought us a complimentary portion of cheese sticks and more chips when he learned I was returning after 50 years away. There's also probably too much batter in the fish. I'd love to say the service is good, but no, they're not winning awards for service with a smile or even welcoming and it's not as if I don't smile and say please, thank you, etc. So overall, really I can't justify more than 3 stars.
