My dip was fine, except they did zero cleanup of my cuticles, etc. At my other place, that's included in the price. When I asked the manager, she said it was a $6 add on for cuticle care, or a $10-$15 add on for manicure. I've never heard of them being separated out and they didn't explain that on the descriptions I read prior to choosing. They also just kind of left me after completing the service. No one told me I was done or helped me get out of my chair and to the cashier. Manager saw me sitting and wondering what to do next and just walked away. It's just a shame that places have to upcharge for everything. I'll be going back to my place in Royse City that includes basic nail care in their dip service and who trains their staff to be helpful from beginning to end of service.

The ladies running the Downtown Salon Suites were nice! There are a lot of hair salons in the what used to be an office suite. Each vendor has their own little office to run out of. Kay's office/suite was down the hall in the back. She had a cancellation that day and was able to squeeze me in. She had a lot of colors to choose from, and you can do regular nail polish, gel, or dipped/powder nails. May also does fun designs, but I am a little boring so I opted out. My gel manicure turned out great ($40)! After about 30 minutes or so, my cuticles were cleaned up, and my hands felt amazing afterwards. My fiancé was able to hang out with me on the massage chair while she did my nails. You can call/text her before coming in to make sure she has availability.
