Worst experience ever! Ordered Birthday gift box 10 days ahead, with the delivery date specified. Did not get an order confirmation email until I emailed their customer service. The box was not delivered on the day specified. Instead it was delivered two days later, when it was too late for the Birthday greeting. During all that waiting time I was not able to track the order, and customer service was either unresponsive or not helpful if responded. Tried to cancel the order but got no response. Their web site is useless when it comes to order status info, refund request, or cancellation. You can only order and pay your money, and that's all you are allowed to do on their web site! Had to open a dispute with my credit card issuer. Never again I will be using this company! read more

I ordered a basket for Mother's Day which promised a delivery on the Friday before. Then the package seemed to get lost through Mother's Day weekend as no one could tell me where it was or how it was being stored as it had food items. I contacted FedEx as well as Gift Tree and neither party would accept responsibility stating that "delivery dates are estimations and not promise of delivery" and I was denied any reimbursement. When the basket arrived the week after Mother's Day, the items were hot and the chocolate products were all melted and the expensive champagne was warm (Vueve) . If your business model is selling edible items in a basket, then your delivery dates are vital as you could be mailing out food that is no longer edible. I will never be ordering from this company again. read more

Buyer beware. Ordered from a catalog and was charged the online price for an item. That is called Bait and Switch. When I called they said their catalog has a disclaimer saying "prices subject to change." Well this was a Christmas catalog and I was ordering for Christmas? Why would the price change? We send corporate gifts every year. Not from Gift Tree anymore. Dishonest tactics. read more

I was looking for a high end gift basket and I found Gift Tree. I splurged and spent $249.00 for the basket as the picture looked amazing. To my dismay the actual product was not even close to high end or like the picture. The only good news is, i had the gift shipped to my house. I was able to open it up and make it look better, but it is definitely NOT a basket worth $249.00. Next time I will stick with Harry and David and Wine Country Baskets. I will post pictures... read more

I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THE REVIEWS BEFORE I BUY FROM GiftTree. Had the same problem as other customers ordering in advance to make sure it will arrive on Christmas time. One basket arrived three days after Christmas, second 6 days later and third basket arrived 13 days after Christmas! On top of that people that received the third basket are close enough to us to send us pictures of the basket all messed up and with cheap products in it. We spent $430 for cheap snacks! The first two baskets were sent to important people to us for appreciation, we feel so uncomfortable! On Jan 2nd I called to complain about the lateness of the first two baskets and that the third basket wasn't received at all! Guy called James told me the same thing as other unhappy customers. The delivery was only for an "estimated date" and he refused to give back any refund. I asked for a refund on the third basket that wasn't received at all and he said they have to investigate with posts and he accused me of giving the wrong address. So unprofessional! He said he will send me an email. I never received an email or refund from them and later that day the basket was delivered to the right address, almost two weeks from the day I ordered it. I will never use GiftTree again!!! read more

Not what was received. So embarrassed for sending this to my mom. She was confused as to what she even got when she opened it up. Didn't even get the cute blue basket as pictured and got a "basket weave" brown covering for plastic pot. Not cool So after speaking with customer service and showing them the pictures they said it was due to corona virus they ran out of everything. They did refund my money. I sent another gift but with snacks. I made my mom take pictures and it was really nice and a good quality basket. I originally gave them a 1 start review but changed it to 3. I've also order from this company in the past and next day delivery wasn't next day as promised it was as 3 days later so I would say this is a "so-so" company. read more

Ordered a $200 gift basket 2 weeks in advance to be delivered to a business. Paid the extra fee to have it delivered on a specific day for the event. Basket did not arrive and came a day late. Requested a refund from Gift Tree only for the shipping cost and the extra fee charged to have it delivered on a specific date. Thought that was reasonable of me only asking for my shipping to be refunded and not the entire order. They denied my refund saying that the delivery was only for an "estimated date". Will not use this company again due to failure to perform as advertised. read more

Disappointed. ordered (1) sympathy basket was told that they couldn't find the address than that they left a message and six days later an email with a gift card in the amount of the purchase. Really, I called them back told them no thank you and to credit my card I don't want a gift card if they can't even do one order correctly. NOTE: I made sure I was put on hold till I got a confirmation of the credit going back on my card I just wanted to make sure it got done. I would advise you not to order from here if you want your delivery on time. or a confirmation with details. Not even we are sorry for the inconvenience nothing. BE WARE. read more

Wow...Shame on me, I usually yelp the company but I fell in love with the arrangement and ordered it....wow...posted the pictures, please judge for yourself.... but I was crushed with what they sent....It is appalling that a company would be so deceptive. What you see is NOT what you get. I posted a review on their site but I believe they will NOT post it because they review the reviews first... Nonetheless, I will contact them tomorrow and see what they do. I called tonight and they wanted me to email the pictures but got disconnected and when I called back they were closed. However, I will return to update this review when I have an update on their customer support to see how they stand behind the quality of their products. For now.....Run from this site. The absolute worst. If you have a need to be embarrassed when sending someone a gift, Please feel free to call GiftTree. 2 times they ruined birthday gifts that were ordered for relatives in 2 different states with 2 different issues. 2 months ago, I order a Wine & Gift basket for my mother-in-law. I spent an extra $40 for 2-day delivery. Delivery was not on-time even though I paid the extra for the expedited delivery. It was delivered a 6 days late; later delivery dates than if I didn't pay anything extra. Last week, I order a Wine & Gift basket. A bottle of wine was broken and leaked all over the rest of the contents of the package before it was even sent. What did The Gift Tree do about it, They put the wet and wine-smelling leaked box INSIDE OF A DRYBOX and then sent to whole gift of accessories soaked in wine to the recipient. MCDONALDS!!!!. Avoid this company to avoid being embarrassed in front of people who you are trying to impress or lavish with gifts. You will end up regretting using this company if you do not heed my warnings. Company is based out of Naples, so that would explain the MCDONALDS type service that this company provides. Going forward I will be using the following companies as this one has no pride in their service read more

This company is so dishonest that it blocked me from submitting a bad review on their product. What was received does not look like the picture. What presentation? If I wanted boxes of cookies/candies thrown in a basket, I would have done it myself and it would have been much cheaper and better looking. I'm really disappointed with what my sister received for the $$$ I paid. To add insult to my pain, they delivered the product late after my sister's birthday even though I ordered with plenty of time and selected the right birth date. COVID-19 should not be the excuse for the poor service. They could have delivered the basket earlier, not after the date (birth date) I selected. I reached out to their customer service but they didn't respond positively. This has been a horrible experience. read more

I ordered the Park Avenue gift basket as pictured on the Gift Tree Catalog and received a totally different gift basket with none of the bottles I paid for and very few of the chocolate, cookies and nuts that I paid for. Called customer service and after sending pictures and reaching out to manager, we were offered a $25 credit/refund for a $700 gift basket that we paid for. We declined the $25 refund as we saw it as an insult. We just wanted to return our basket and receive the right one which is what any company with real integrity would do. They waited 10+ days after I ordered and paid to let me know that they were not able to deliver to my brother's address. Very disappointing.

Very disappointing. For amount of things you get, i feel like I've been robbed. it's literally like 4 mini tiny bite size cookies in there. I bought it for family of 4, it's only enough for 1 person. Will not buy again for sure. There is more paper padding than the actual goods. i wish you would tell in your description the amounts of the basket's inserts. It's a joke.I definitely could find a better use of $100 spent here. read more

This company is complete trash! Spent an hour trying to place an order. The janky website wouldn't complete the order, so I called customer service. I used them at least 4 times a year for the last 2.5 yrs and for the last 2 deliveries I have been truly disappointed. I need a reliable company and I thought I have found one, but was proven wrong. My last purchase was for my mother in law's birthday and arrived late. When I called customer service, I was informed that it was to accommodate her per her request, however this was not true. After talking to my mother in law, I called to report that local florist shop that was used lied. Customer representative told me that they will investigate this and will call me back. This took place on October 19, 2018 and still have not received a call back from Giftree. I guess is time to find another company where my needs and concerns matter. read more

Used www.gifttree.com (Gift Services Inc.). I ordered a bday gift of a BonBon bouquet with a bottle of champagne. Placed the order on Monday for a bday delivery on Thursday. During the ordering process, the options were delivery on Wed or Thurs; I selected the Thurs delivery date. Upon completion, the receipt indicated delivery via UPS on Thursday. Wed night, I checked the order status and it read, "processing". I called customer service. As I waited on hold, I googled reviews and discovered the bad rep for this company (here, others, and Better Business Bureau). James the rep was very nice. The order had not yet been shipped. James changed the order for FedEx overnight and refunded the delivery charge. He said he will email the warehouse in a diff state to request the order be sent tomorrow (Thurs) for Friday delivery (the day after her birthday). Although it may have been acceptable, there was no guarantee it would be sent tomorrow/arrive Fri. Therefore, the gift may not arrive until the following week. Therefore, I cancelled the order. James sent me an email confirmation of the refund. IMO the ordering process is very misleading relating to delivery date. Too bad I didn't look for reviews before I placed the order. My suggestion, don't order from GiftTree.com. read more

Absolutely worst service I ever had to deal with. My mom has a birthday on Valentine's day. So ordered a $200 flower basket on 2/13 to be delivered next day. I was told the flowers will be delivered before 8pm on 2/14. The delivery never took place. I was never notifies of any problems with the order. I spent all evening of Valentines day on a phone listening to gifttree customer support message and trying to select between 2 options for call back which did not work regardless, calling doorman at my mother's apartment ad keeping my mother awake helplessly hoping they would still deliver. My message that was included with basket was everything to do with a birthday and valentine's day being on the same day and gifttree ruined it for me. Next day (Saturday) we had a family gathering but the momentum of the flowers delivery and the message was lost. 2 days later I got an email suggesting they can still deliver on Monday or Tuesday. They have some nerves. I made a research after this incident (which I should of done earlier) and realized that there is a list of top 10 flower deliveries businesses and they are not on the list. So before you order from Gifttree remember that your order timing and (now i understand from reading other's reviews) the quality of the product describe is not what you should expect. read more

The service and communication is horrible. What you see in the phot is far from what you revive. I ordered a basket for my sister's née home. Wrote s nice message too. The delivery was so late 2 weeks, the items in the basket was way less than what I ordered, the packing completely different than what she received and worst than there was no message. It was my first time and definitely will be my last time using them. I wish I had read the reviews about the company. I saw the item review was four and half star out of 108 reviews. What a deceiving review they had on their website read more

this company just totally caused my family members out of town to not receive my gift, that i ordered mind you in october. they want to give me excuses for why it was not delivered on the date i requested. you would think if you ordered that far in advance that it would go smooth. not in this case. if you want a gift basket, try another company, this company is not one to use. totally ruined my surprise and now i have no time to do anything else. horrible outcome. read more

Originally I was not so impressed with this site. I had received a basket as a gift that came with one opened item and switched one item with another that I could not eat. I also was not impressed with the presentation of my items, it was more items in a box than a basket arrangement. I called them to tell them about the opened item and my unhappiness with the new switched item. They said they would fix it and send out a replacement. I was expecting the two faulty products to just be replaced and mailed to me. What I did not expect was that they would send an entirely new gift basket! The 2nd basket they sent was so much nicer than the first. They sent me a more premium one, arranged nicely, with many more delicious items. I am really impressed with the service and that they did that. Thank You read more

Ridiculous! 100% Guarantee is a LIE. The bouquet delivered did not look as pictured. It was the "Lovely Lilies & Roses Bouquet". $150 plus's another $40 in shipping and taxes. It was skimpy on the flowers and mostly green filler. It did not arrive on the date as promised. When I called Gift Tree, the excuse was "what you see pictured are all the flowers pushed to front side with no flowers in the back, for the picture. In order to show total flowers used. When they make the arrangement they spread them around." They told me they attempted a delivery but no one was home. NOT TRUE! There was a house full of people. I was given the same excuse for a fruit basket that was also ordered. It seems to be the canned excuse given for orders not arriving on the day promised. This was for my family at mothers death. Awful. I sent a basket on a Wednesday to arrive for a funeral where people were flying in on that Friday. I paid almost $30 for the expedited shipping to ensure it would arrive by Friday. I needed a gift basket last minute. I know this is tough so I made sure I selected something they identified as same day. I choose a whole fruit gift basket with a bottle of Champagne. Easy right select some fruit, place in basket add Champagne done. Apparently not, they contacted me 3 hours later they no florist in the town could fill the order only flowers. The best part though was they had no problem processing my payment and even after they canceled the order I still had to call them back about my refund which will take 3-5 business days.
