I walked in and was immediately greeted by 2 cats. Personally I am allergic to cats but I was just browsing the store and not planning to be in there for long so I didn't really mind but that still seemed really weird to have cats in a store. Immediately after that a woman came up and told me I couldn't have my starbucks in the store (it maybe had like an inch of liquid left in it) and before I could even respond the woman took the starbucks from me and so I just left immediately. Bit of a strange experience inside this store. We wanted to check out the merchandise, we barely got inside the owner or somebody working there starting yelling after a customer and chased them outside the store. I didn;t get the incident if they didn't pay for an item or what? The merchandise is plentiful, but on the tacky side. Kinda crowded, hard to browse. Do not shop here! I visited this shop with my medical alert service dog and was promptly cornered by the shop owner and asked to leave. When I informed her I would not leave because it is illegal to deny a service animal she asked for my "papers." I again informed her there is no such thing as service dog papers. Again she continued to corner us and caused a scene in her shop and would not let us inside. Refusal of a service animal and their handler is a second degree misdemeanor in the state of Florida which can result in 90 days of jail time and a fine. read more

I was drawn in by their incredible window displays. I loved all of the displays in the store as well. The cat was the highlight! The entrance arch caught my eye, so we wandered in. In addition to women's clothing, jewelry & accessories, they have a fabulous array of beautiful greeting cards, books, and a wide variety of gift items. Stella was very helpful but not overbearing, and made our shopping experience even more delightful when she told us the shop has 3 cats. We found two, and assume the 3rd was taking a nap somewhere out of view. Great place to browse for unique gifts, whether for yourself or someone else. read more

First off, the hospitality is wonderful, even with the cats. So wonderful that they remembered me after so many years since I last came. I appreciate the care they took in helping me find the perfect outfit for my student's Sweet 16 party. Besides the elegance of the clothes and the atmosphere, God plays a big part in this place. I went in for the cat. Normally, the Easter pastels and frosted pinks of a Naples boutique don't call out to me. Call me "visually enabled" or "done with gift shopping" or "a guy," if you must - I can take it. I just wouldn't typically be drawn to this kind of a shop. Granted the Mom initiated a fly-by... But then there was the cat. Still unsure who determined blousy lime green lady-frocks are haute fashion (most of SWFL is awash in the mystery), but WitW has got racks of 'em, along with other "high end" labels, ripe for the Margaritaville royalty's picking. Then there's the cat. A note to the parents in the house: if you want to keep the kids entertained while you shop threads, swing by this joint. Keeping true to title, the fantastic figures from Kenneth Grahame's classic infest the interior for a magical literary experience akin to a Mother Goose petting zoo. Kinda cheesy, kinda funky, but an easy distraction from the "are we there yet?" hem tugs of wee Willy Wet'sGoWet'sGo. And maybe a 32-year-old man who's fascinated by horrifically kitsch mermaid ornaments the size of Charlie Brown's Christmas tree. I live here half the year and have shopped here for years and spent lots of money in this store on gifts. I stopped in today in a very dire need to use the restroom. I thought they might remember me being there 30 min ago and she said NO that I could go across the street to Starbucks. Just visited Naples for a 4-day stay and discovered again this wonderfully chic little boutique store on 5th Avenue. The owner, Beth, was in the store and made us feel totally welcome to her beautiful little gem of a store. Her two Persian cats were on had to greet the customers with their usual sweet attitude. Victoria took wonderful care of us and made perfect suggestions for our new outfits. Beth was a perfect hostess and we felt like staying all day to try on everything. To the rude and pretentious manager; You are running a small boutique in Naples, not the Oscar de la Renta in NYC. My wife and I walked into the store and in seconds we were greeted by the store manager...."Beautiful baby, but I have to ask you not to push the stroller through the store. You can just leave it right here where there is more space." Maybe she is battling Alzhiemer's dementia because there was a 6 month old sleeping baby in the stroller. I will not be waking up the baby to carry her around, and certainly not leaving the stroller and baby next to the entrance to the store. Not sure if she was worried about the stroller knocking over one of the racks holding the gaudy clothing items, or perhaps worried about blocking the pathways for the large crowd of 1 other customer in the store. And then, there is the freely roaming feline...who coincidentally looks as disgruntled as the manager acts. read more

I have been "browsing" at Wind in the Willows for year's have always been drawn to its whimsical windows and fun entrance. The clothing colors are so lovely. This week I went with my friend to look for an outfit for an upcoming wedding and a class reunion. I found the clerk Susan to be most helpful and courteous. The staff is ready to help, without being pushy. (they do NOT work on commission) I love my outfit and the experience was wonderful. The "greeter" at the door, immediately offered a welcome, and offered to help in anyway. The sales rack was pointed out to me as well. I can understand the need to limit strollers in the store, it is just to tight, and so many things that little ones would want to touch and feel. Stars for their excellent selection. No stars for their peculiar service. Unlike other reviews, my daughter and I experienced spacey, somewhat rude and dismissive service. We looked forward to their well advertised sale, which in itself was weird because is was 20% off price. In the retail world, 20% off is not a big deal. I was interested in a specific dress, and my size was not on the rack. When I asked sales lady to check the size of the dress in the window, her response was "she will never take that from the display". Too many other shops in the area to return. read more

This store has a very strict "no returns" policy. For that reason, I refuse to shop there. The store says this is to prevent fraud......as in people wearing garments and then trying to return them. Every other store on 5th avenue has figured out a way to prevent fraud and still be consumer friendly. read more

We just returned from a visit to Naples and found some of the most unusual and flattering designs in this wonderful store- The sales people were extremely helpful and both my sister in law and I found many things to add to our wardrobes. Because we were flying back to San Diego in a few days I opted to have them send the items and I am happy to say everything arrived as promised and in good order! I honestly wish we had a shop like this in my area as I would be a regular customer - I love the clothes I bought there, they are beautifully made and such original styles. I was in the store with my 3 month old who was very quietly in his stroller. A sales associate approached me asking if he was my baby. She then asked if I would take him out and leave the stroller outside claiming there was a sign outside stating this rule which there was not. Also stating it was narrow. So what, can I not come back with my grandmother who is in a wheelchair either? I felt extremely unwelcome and left the store with the 8 other people I was with. My fiance and I were in the store just last night. We found a beautiful Christmas dress for our granddaughter on sale! We were so excited as it was marked down to $4.99. Upon trying to pay for the item the lady snatched it up went in the back and upon returning the item suddenly was marked at $14.99. When we explained that was not what it said she told us we read it wrong and that if they sold things at those prices she wouldn't get a paycheck. AVOID! read more

First off the workers had no shoes on! They have 3 cats roaming around the store. My sister is terrified of cats and so we kindly asked the lady working there to put them away until we left because we were going to buy stuff. They avoided us the first 2 times then finally we asked one that actually understood what we were saying and she said "this is their home we can't move them" "people come in here to see the cats"... What do they do about people that are allergic? We left after picking out things we were going to purchase and the women didn't seem to care about loosing business at all! I don't say this to come against the cats (I'm personally an animal lover) I say it to come against the staff. It was very rude to not listen to the customers and not care to loose business. Spent $800 on a handful of tops. They don't even take the time to iron their overpriced merchandise. Very cute, but some of the material is just not that good of quality. Bought a linen crop jacket/shirt for $118.00. It's very loose fitting. This first time I wore it out 4 of the 7 buttons just fell off. I was mortified as I had nothing to hold it together and had no shirt underneath. This is the 3 item I bought from them over $100 where buttons just fell off. I also bought a blouse there and went to Kays and found it for $50 less. read more

I stopped on a recent trip to Bonita Springs. This boutique has unique and beautiful items. Victoria took an extended time to assist in styling an outfit for me to wear to my son's wedding. It looked beautiful. However, upon returning the next day to take a second look at another option I was pleasantly surprised at the attention and consideration that Victoria, Sue and the owner (I'm sorry I don't know her name) gave to me. I did end up with my original purchase - as that was the bride's favorite. But I wanted to thank these lovely ladies for working with me and making me feel beautiful! Best store in Naples! By chance walked into this fabulous store and was first hit by the most beautiful color combinations in clothing that I've seen in a very long time! Victoria did a wonderful job of caring for us as we collected more and more things to try on. We were definitely pampered in every way. I am not a huge fan of the store but I am in shock over the customer who thinks the world revolves around them and their grandchild. They complained after being told no strollers in the store. REALLY?!!! The store is SO tiny that there is hardly room to walk let alone for strollers. I don't care to trip over your stroller, it's a store not a nursery. And what if more than one person wanted to enter with a stroller? The store can't say that YOU can shop but the other people with strollers can't because for certain the store would be too cluttered. Sorry, but spending money in a store does not permit you to different treatment than anyone else. And having a sleeping child doesn't entitle you to inconvenience others. read more
