Last year none were to be found in the Estero/Bonita Springs area so this year we made a longer drive to Naples. It was worth it. The World Market at Coconut Point Mall in Estero has been closed for several years so the Naples location was my best option, other than Fort Myers. Even though the stock was a bit picked over, I was able to find an attractive set. A hit with our family on Christmas Day. I also picked up a few small gifts and wrapping supplies. This World Market is smaller than my local one in the San Francisco Bay area. But it was well laid out and staff were helpful. I have counted on World Market for 50 years, going back to when it was known as Cost Plus. Happy to find this one!

There is no interest in fairly resolving issues raised by the customer. According to KB the customer is always requesting something that is contrary to their policy. KB simply provides the customer with the same tired excuses repeatedly. The next step is they don't answer their phone and if you can get them by blocking your phone number they tell you "don't call us we'll call you." Sometimes they simply hang up the phone in the middle of the conversation. Another issue is their requirement to pay 100% of the purchase price at the point of sale. Every retailer that I am aware of requires 50% down and 50% the day before the actual delivery. With KB the customer finances their inventory and therefore eliminates any financial risk for KB. This leaves the customer with no leverage in the event of a problem. In addition, they will not refund your money for any reason. Nice business model for them but a loser for their clients. I have read reviews by other KB customers in addition to the smug and condescending responses by the owners. The many poor reviews indicate similar issues including terrible customer service, no refunds, restocking fees etc. The responses from the owners follow common themes. For example, KB thinks that the customer is always wrong and there is always some "reason" why they cannot resolve the issue in favor of the customer. They always claim their staff never makes a mistake and are in fact unfairly criticized by the customer. This includes allegations that the customer is abusive to their staff. I would say it's my experience that its quite the opposite. The bottom line is prior to making the sale they are very nice and after you pay them in full they are very nasty Period. I'm now a Naples customer and have nothing but good things to say with my experience to this point. My new furniture will be here in a few days and I can't wait.

With the exception of some of the more garishly beachy vendors, the selection is overwhelmingly great. Every booth has at least 15 things that I love, 8 that I'd actually buy, 4 I can afford, and 1 I can't live without. That's how they get me. Vendors hold sales on their booths regularly (check for 50% off vendors!!!) and you can step out of there having spent under $50 for something really special. On the other hand, there are pieces in there that are outrageously overpriced. But that's par for the course for a shop like this. I find it part of the fun, setting your eyes on a piece that's.. oops...$4,000. Chesterdales is an adult I Spy Book. Perfect for people who love framed paintings, tchotchkes of any type, particularly dishware, coastal/ rattan furniture, mirrors... the list goes on. Staff is quite helpful but not overbearing. The store is well air conditioned but not overly (if you know SWFL, you know what I'm talking about. You don't need a sweater to shop in here.) If you have the chance and are willing to spend an hour sitting through the stock, do it!
