Stopped for lunch with a friend. It's been awhile. I don't care for the walk in and order part. If it's busy it puts you on the spot. I ordered the bison original burger and my buddy order chicken quesadilla tacos with chips. I also ordered a side of the thunder fries. I guess I did not pay attn to them as they were loaded with bleu cheese and I just couldn't do tht. My fault there. The bison burger was good. Cooked well and seasoned. The tacos were very large and quite tasty according to my friend. Prices were actually pretty reasonable. Was odd they asked when we ordered if we wanted a bartender. We passed but I guess tht way they don't have to bother folks. It was a good stop. read more

Great place to come for a quick lunch or dinner! I was in town for work, and this place was walking distance from my hotel (there are two Marriotts right behind it). The bartender was very nice and had great suggestions. I loved that the bar top had license plates from all of the United States as its decor! Im going to be honest, I was expecting a thicker size burger than what I got... but the fried onion burger being a smash burger style burger was still fantastic! It was very juicy and flavorful. The sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy as well. The best thing about this place though is the size of their large beers. I love a big beer with a burger! I would definitely come by again if I was in town. read more

The Garage - THE FRIED ONION BURGER - Burgers Near Me - Del City, Oklahoma

If you're ever in the Del City area and craving a good, hearty burger, The Garage Burger & Fries is a must-visit spot! From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming, which set the tone for a great dining experience. We ordered at the counter and were seated while our food was freshly prepared. The burgers? Absolutely delicious! Each one came on a buttery toasted bun with a thick, juicy beef patty cooked to perfection. Topped with melty cheese, crisp lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and creamy mayo--it was everything you'd want in a classic burger. The seasoned fries were fresh and flavorful--crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. My only wish? That the combo came with a few more fries (they were that good!). While the soda fountain was temporarily out of order, the team quickly made up for it by offering canned sodas, which was a nice touch of customer service. I also recently learned you can customize your burger with extras like a fried egg or even go all out with chili if you're feeling bold. Same goes for the fries--you can deck them out with chili, cheese, peppers, and more! Today was just a simple meal with the family, but we all left full and satisfied. For great burgers, friendly service, and a laid-back vibe, we give The Garage a solid 10 out of 10. Highly recommend! read more

Good place for a burger. Been coming here for years. The daytime Manager has always been so nice. We went about 8 pm tonight and it was pretty quiet. We Ordered our regular Theta Burgers and sweet potato fries. Both very good. Daughter ordered Parmesan fries but not to good this time. Had weird taste, more wet with grease or something. See didn't eat them. An older man did come check on us but we didn't think to tell him. We've had them before, so not sure if grease old or fries re cooked. Also sweet tea was not good. Glad they stay open until 10 for us late night eaters. read more

Can't really go wrong with getting a bit to eat at The Garage. It's one of many places that I go for lunch from time to time since it's not too far from where I work at. Great for big groups as well if you go here with either friends or coworkers. Service is great and you'll get your food within 10 minutes or ordering. A lot of unique decor in the restaurant for sure and it's a great place to watch what ever sports game you desire. read more

The Garage is always a consistent bet. Six of us dined here for a late lunch and it was super fast and delicious. I had the Theta turkey burger and would order it again. It is a great spot for larger groups at lunch. Our table was checked on by the manager a couple of times and plates were cleared when needed. I would return. read more

We were in town for a family event and our hotel was close by The Garage. Because of the convenient location, we decided to stop by for a drink and to grab some food. We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. Very casual and friendly. Its a bit of a hybrid of fast food and restaurant. You walk in and order your food at the counter and then it gets delivered to your table. Bartenders also serve the table if you're having any alcohol. There were several good choices on the menu board and the food arrived quickly. The staff and the bartenders were very friendly and made you feel welcome. We enjoyed it so much we came back the next night as well. read more

When you're visiting Oklahoma City (Del City) this place is a must! I'm from Oklahoma, but live in California and this is my first time eating here. I loved the vibe. We arrived around 10 pm and there was plenty of seats. The service was great and helpful with their huge menu. I believe you have the option to create your own burger with a fried egg and chilli if your stomach can handle it. Put this place on your to do list when you're in the area. read more

Burger nirvana! Let it be known.....The Garage knows how to do a smash burger. My onion smash burger came out with two perfectly seasoned patties, sweet grilled onions, and then I topped it off with some cooked jalapeños for good measure. My taste buds were basically high-fiving each other. For a side, I had the hand-cut truffle fries with sriracha aioli--which is an excellent combo. My fries decided to show up to the party a few degrees too cool. Not ice-cold, but if they had been a little fresher, this would be a 5 star review for certain. Service was outstanding, you order as you come in, then they give you a number to display at your table and they bring your food when it's ready. Still, overall fantastic!! Would I come back? Hell yeah! read more

This fork and knife dig was sooooo good. The dog was cooked perfectly, like fried or something. The chili was good. I asked for easy onion and I could have just had regular onion. The cheese was a nice addition, I would've liked more. The fries are so good. My family got some and they were cold, the lady came around and asked so they were sent back. She gave everyone new fries but definitely didn't ask if we needed anything else . I don't go to the garage often but I can put it on a to visit list. Great family place too, very welcoming vibes. read more

The corn tortillas chicken tacos were inedible. Ordered 12/29/25. Greasy and the tortilla wasn't tender at all. One bite and it was a mess. The tortillas specifically were not cooked/toasted as they should be. Only one thin tortilla. Most double them up because they know they can get brittle when dry. I'm sorry but do not order the tacos. The hamburgers are way better. Might want to skip the mushy "every time" fries. And they charge extra for EVERYTHING read more

We came from out of town and heard great things about The Garage. The hamburgers were a little burnt so we asked the manager Heather if this was normal and she quickly offered to remake them! She came back with free queso and chips then comped the meal. Absolutely great service and management staff here at The Garage! We will definitely be coming back when we're in town! Thank you Heather and The Garage staff! read more

Thisp lace is cool and casual vibe. It has that car theme diner vibe, hints the name. You order at the front and the entire restaurant is "the bar" so the bartender will come to you if you request their service. Overall the food was decent. I got a mushroom Swiss with a turkey patty and it was really good. The truffle garlic Parm fries however were not tasty. I liked the cut of the potato, so I am going to blame it on the flavor. Next time I would just get regular fries. read more

Good food all around anything you desire is good here salads, hamburgers, chicken, fries even sweet potato fries.

I have visited this location several times and I have never had a bad experience. The fries are always good, especially the sweet potato fries. The Mushroom Swiss burger and the sweet Oklahoma burger are elite. The drinks aren't bad either. This place is a very good spot for a burger and a quick beer. read more

I'm not sure if it's THIS Garage location or what! I am going to assume it is because I never have these types of experiences at the other locations. And I have been to every Garage burger in the OKC Metro! The service at this location just gradually gets more and more subpar! The food is even starting to match the attitudes. I have tried to continue to support this location because it's the closest to my house and because I seriously LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Garage Burger. But at this point, I have decided to bypass this location and head straight for the one downtown, or Britton even though it's an extra 25 mins from where I live. I really hope the GM or someone revamps their levels of service here because it's most definitely turning away their loyal customers. read more

Walked in - service at the front was great. Young lady gave some great recommendations. I had the Oklahoma with some fries. Burger was a different combo but was very good. The will cook it well done is the only downfall. But the cream cheese , jalapeño and sauce gave it a good taste Fries were ok. Similar to 5 guys. Not my favorite. But not bad. Ate at the restaurant. There is a different service for beer. Only had one as she didn't check on me much. Overall good experience! read more

The garage has great amazing food. Staff are friendly. The restaurant has a fun atmosphere.

The guy that took my order very respectful and nice.....the food I received was sooooo bad!! Cold fries and grease soaked tacos!! Female manager rude and wanted to go home as she was telling crew to start cleaning at 8:15. I was starved after a long and got subpar food quality. read more

I'm so glad we decided to try The Garage again. It was so good we went back the very next day! You order at the front counter and then take your order number and place it on your table and they will bring out your food once it's ready. My husband had the Double Bacon Cheeseburger with Sweet Potato Fries and I had the Avocado Chicken Salad. Everything was delicious! The atmosphere is fun and casual, there's a full bar that stayed busy both times we were there. They have large flat screens around the restaurant playing various sports and it's just a really fun vibe there. I can't wait to go back and try the Chicken Fajita Tacos next! If you haven't stopped by The Garage lately I would definitely recommend stopping by and giving them another try! read more

First time at this location. So glad we stopped for a Turkey burger and fries, it was amazing! The location is in a convenient mall strip off the highway. Parking was easy even with a packed lot. Entering the establishment I was greeted quickly. You actually order food before you sit down and a wait staff brings your food to table. Although the place was packed, we received food fast, it was hot and delicious. I had to make sure it was a Turkey burger! Mannnnn it tasted like high quality beef, but the waiter reassured me it was Turkey! The restaurant was clean and even tho the place was packed with televisions covering every free wall space, the sound wasn't deafening. We carried a conversation without yelling. They also serve alcoholic beverages, which we passed on tonight, but the prices seem reasonable. On weekends they are open til 12midnight- something to keep in mind. read more

Delicious burgers, custom-made, and the services is good. I would definitely go back here.

Moving cross country from California to North Carolina and we decided to eat by at this place in Oklahoma City. First off the people are so polite on here! Was worried that with all shananigans going on right now in our nation we would encounter some depressed people. Nope, not here! They are happy man! AMAZING FOOD and PRICES! In Cali you can only afford a Double Cheesy from McDonald's with these prices. Good ambiance, and yes Google they have HANDICAP ACCESS! read more

First of all, I'm from Chicago, soooooooo you gotta go a LONG way to impress me with food. I looked up rooftop bars and got outside dining. I came in and asked for a seat with an outlet and the guy pointed me to a wall with the outlet on the wall. Oookkkk... I sat for 10 minutes without ANYONE acknowledging my presence. After I beckoned for a young man to come to the table he explained to me how the restaurant "works". You order food and then sit down. The waiter then brings you the food. I asked about the bar, he said they give you a yellow "sign" that signals to the bartender that you want a drink. Oookkkk.... Bart were took my order, blah blah blah. The server asked me if I wanted anything else and I told him I had the loaded queso and I wanted more. Without even telling me that I would've had to pay for it, because....duh... I knew that, he simply stated that he couldn't just give me anymore loaded queso, just a cup of queso. What difference would that have made if I'm going to pay for it but to not even give the customer that option is insane. Needless to say, it sucked. I'm not even a little buzzed from the drink... read more

So, you should know by now I love a Hal Smith enterprise. I feel like he gets it. From atmosphere, location, dining menu and drinks. He just gets it. The food. Always consistent. Always good and price wise usual a good value. The drinks are good normally and if not they are quick to fix the issue. Today, I'm going to be that person. Service for food was great. Out in a timely manner and we got everything we ordered. Drinks. What a shit show. I paid cash on my first drink. Came out fine. My second drink I put on my card and closed the tab. Unfortunately, they charged me twice. I brought it to their attention. They said the wound correct it. They charged me again double. Insult to injury, they didn't even bring me the right drink I had just been charged three times the price of the drink. I had to ask for the manager. He tried to give me a coupon for free chips and salsa. Sir, you just charged my card $42.00 for a $10.00 drink. No thank you. Why was this allowed to happen twice? One time is a mistake. The second time seems like a scam. Seriously, this isn't how you run a business. Never once was anyone accountable. I don't want free chips and salsa. I want accountability. read more

Not too happy about the sanitary conditions.... no real concern for COVID precautions. Took 15 minutes for my to-go burger order today .... burger was awesome btw ---- I watched the folks while I waited. The wait staff didn't seem to care about any cleanliness or safety Never saw a single table wiped down while I was there and people came and went They just grab the condiments and threw them back into the tray where they were stacked. Saw girl carrying filthy mop and then grab food. Saw girl grab food and dirty 'Floor Wet' sign at same time - neither washed hands. Saw 3rd girl taking money credit cards getting slips signed grabbing phone and then delivering food with fingers on plates --- BE Very Aware... the wait staff - who take orders and deliver food to tables were unclean and it was disgusting. Should t we be able to pay without signing and using the same pen everyone else uses??? On a positive note tho----I could see all the cooking staff had gloves on - black gloves - and seemed more concerned with cleanliness I watched them closely......
