Shop is extremely well rounded and has most items you could want in a comics and toy shop. Had a good selection of new pull comic books, wall books located behind the counter, and dollar boxes, but was more limited with other comic back issues. They also had a reasonable selection of Manga. Retro toy selection here is very strong with a large selection of in box toys and loose figures. Many of the higher end retro toys are located on shelves near the ceiling, with the G.I. Joe selection during our visit being good. A few arcade machines were in the back. Staff were cool to chat with and the shop was busy the entire time I was there. This is a perfect example of what a standard comic and toy shop should be. Tosche Station is absolutely worth a visit. If you have time, also check out the second location in Centreville, which has an even larger selection of Retro Toys, and more comic books.

Hunter-M was clean, had a nice amount of amenities, and overall a nice experience! Main downside was that the aisles are a little close together, so it wasn't hard for our playing to be disrupted by other players shouting in their respective games (even with headphones on). But it being a public space, I think that kind of thing comes with the territory. Overall a good time. :)

An entire half of the restaurant was sectioned off for gaming and I saw a bunch of people sitting down and having fun. Their proximity to GMU makes this a great place to build local community. Many others in the area will buy card games from the manufacturer then sell at inflated prices to squeeze all value out of a set. Pair o Dice doesn't do this and it's quite admirable. For example, earlier today, I went to two closer stores and was told a box of Avatar MTG cards was over $210 ($174 on Amazon) then I went to Pair o' Dice and bought it at $180. I'll gladly support a local gaming shop that supports their customers and doesn't see us as sponges to squeeze. Good job, Pair o Dice. I will be back.

My wife found this awesome little hobby shop last night while hanging out with a couple of friends, and when she came home and told me about it, we ended up going back together the next day. I'm into all things nerdy, especially anime and GUNPLA, so I grabbed an SD model kit and a Thousand Sunny Bandai kit from One Piece. They've also got individual actual Pokémon, One Piece, Magic decks, and individual cards in binders for sale (at least for Pokémon, I'm unsure of the other cards games.) They had some Anime models, Manga, a bunch of stickers, different types of dice (for tabletop gaming), plushies, some older video game stuff, and I think there were Warhammer model kits. It's a small local shop, so prices are a little bit higher than what you'd see at big box stores. BUT you're supporting a local business, and that's always really worth it. There are some game rooms in the back where people can play tabletop stuff like board games or Dungeons & Dragons. They've got a bathroom (I didn't check it out), plus a little section with snacks and sodas to indulge if you get hungry while you're there playing. Big shoutout to the guy behind the counter. He was super cool to my wife and her friends last night, and even more so when we came back today. I watched him today helping other customers too.
