Some younger friendly college students were working there and made sure I got everything I needed to dine in at the cute counter by the front. Also I got my stuff only 7 minutes after I ordered! Nice and fast. The only reason I rated 4 stars and not 5 was the seats were small and uncomfortable, and the outdoor area wasn't much better. I'd still give this place a try but do take out

The Good Life smoothie bowl is my go to as it's bursting with flavors of different berries and topped with granola and fresh fruit, giving it the perfect diversity of textures to elevate every bite. Being allergic to whey, I often struggle to find products that won't disrupt my hypersensitivity. The employees are always very understanding and helpful when it comes to finding vegan alternatives. However, it took about 20 minutes to get our drinks. There weren't any customers at the time and we waited a very long time. Playa Bowls is in a great location amongst a busy street to stop by if you're looking for a snack. The space isn't really meant for sitting and dining in, but there are some options to sit down for the quick bite. It can also get a bit loud with all the blending (to be expected!) I was impressed you could add quite a bit if you wanted. There are a great bit of options to mix and match, but I decided to go with a classic strawberry, banana, and Nutella. The açaí tasted exactly like the açaí served at Costco. It was decent enough and my friend's was similar, but oof, the prices aren't worth it. If I'm in a pinch and want something different than a smoothie, I'll consider stopping by again. But I can't say I'd really make coming back here a priority. It's stuff I can make at home for an eighth of the price.
