I went to Smoothie King in Evergreen Park on 1/28/25 (Tuesday) for the $5 20 oz recharge smoothie deal they gave on their mobile app. I got a 20 oz pure recharge mango strawberry smoothie. I think this may be my new fave at Smoothie King as it tastes refreshing without it tasting too sweet. I typically order on the mobile app, so by the time I get there, my order is ready. This is my 3rd or 4th time coming to this location and I've never had a problem. I arrived about 10-15 minutes which was the estimated time that was given to me. I only had to wait a few minutes and my order was ready and located at the to-go counter. Atmosphere: I loved the atmosphere. They always play music at just the right volume. You're always greeted when you walk in. Staff is friendly! Parking: There was a lot of parking available when I visited Smoothie King in Evergreen Park for to having a parking lot. However, I think parking availability may vary depending on how busy the area is because it's located in a plaza with other establishments. Overall Experience: Overall, I had a great experience at Smoothie King in the Evergreen Park location. I would highly recommend this place if you're craving something sweet but want to eat or I should say drink healthier or hitting the gym and not wanting to consume a whole meal but feel good. I highly recommend downloading their mobile app as they have freebies and decent deals from time to time. I have come to this smoothie king FAITHFULLY for years and I have never had a bad visit. My impression of the staff is that they work hard and value customer service (at least for these two gentlemen David & Alonte). The assistant manager David knows us by name- not just me, but customer base at this location. He remembers orders. He is CONSISTENTLY kind and respectful and deserves a raise or something! I've seen him deal with impatient customers, a full store and only him on the line, multitasking with training staff while doing backend work and still never has he had a coarse disposition. Alonte is also very respectful and polite. He works diligently as I've seen him juggling multiple tasks at once without fail all the time. My smoothie was amazing, but they need to work on their attitudes and customer service. No one acknowledged me when I entered, no hello, good morning, NADA. I ordered a vegan pineapple spinach. I had a coupon for $2.00 off, the cashier told me I cannot use my coupon, but I could get a free boost, ( the boost was $.99). sir, I do not know what that is nor do I want it. I want my $2.00 off. I told him fine whatever, I was getting my smoothie with or without that damn coupon. I swear, it took 12 minutes to make my smoothie. First time coming here. Came here on a lunch break. Out of all the great things in that strip area to choose from, I chose this place. Overall, average experience. Prices are really pricey, but the portion isn't bad but it's really enticing to get the bigger size. Menu is pretty big too so I'm not too upset about that. Smoothies take a while to blend. I live in the area so I desperately miss Jamba Juice that was in Evergreen as well and since there then it has not been a replacement so I was happy to see Smoothie King that is across the street from little company Hospital any adjacent lot There was no line no waiting so my smoothie was prepared after I came to the conclusion on what I would like I did go off the recommendation of the sales associate that work there and I went with a island impact 20oz And 6 bucks it's pretty pricey but smoothies are pricey on Fridays they have a promotion where you can get a 32 oz any flavor so I definitely will be back on Fridays they definitely need to work a little bit more on that customer service they're not that friendly here no Smiles everybody seems pretty tired and worn out but enjoy my smoothie read more

I ordered, paid, got no receipt, waited, waited, waited, got confused about why I was waiting so long, lost my appetite and interest in waiting any longer, and then walked out. Terrible service but performed by nice people. I don't live in the area and was looking at apartments when I saw the Smoothie King. I went in and ordered and tipped because they did acknowledge me waiting for a long period and it's supposedly black owned which is a plus for me. It was clear they were behind but it's just smoothies, and they're moving along, how long could it be? Over 20 minutes, and a lot closer to 30. That's how long. I stood patiently watching them give out orders until it was my turn. Then I watched an employee repeatedly fail to get my smoothie to blend. There wasn't enough liquid in it. So he added 3 pumps more. Too dry to blend. He adds ice, he switches blenders, he shakes it....at this point he's tried SIX different ways to get this too thick concoction to blend. It occurs to me then that he didn't have a formula or recipe for his additions. He was just trying to get it to blend and was trying different measurements. So now I have to wonder if this thing will even taste good. And doubt that it will. So then I'd have to complain and likely deal with a longer wait for a refund. And still be hungry. And then angry and upset. So I just left. Cant see any reason to go back. Terrible experience within no rhyme or reason for it. How do you get that behind making smoothies with pre Measured ingredients? If you have any anxiety or PTSD symptoms, stay far far away. This place will trigger you. read more

The best deal is on Fridays, when most smoothies on the menu are $5, and the lines are usually longer on those days. However, this location has been overcharging for taxes on their app. If you order in person in the store, a $5 Friday smoothie has 50 cents tax, which is 10%. If you order the same smoothie on their app, it has $.99 tax, which is 20%. While ordering on the app is convenient, the extra cash grab of extra 10% tax isn't worth it. read more

Just had my first smoothie from Smoothie King! They just opened today on95th across from Little Company of Mary Hospital. Met the owner Eeaz - not sure how to spell it pronounced eeee-Az. Nice guy, I hope he does well and they stick around. They have a couple sections on the menu with vegan labeled options. You can also make something vegan. The list of drinks is very extensive and there are lots of options and categories. You can add protein, fibers, energy boosts and more. The employees totally helped Eeaz with the register/computer, they knew what they were doing. I selected a Berry something from the vegan menu and it is great! I took a paper menu so I can figure out something different for next time. I hope they do well so they will stick around and please be kind while they work out the kinks! read more

Love coming here the smoothies are great. The only problem I had was I ordered a smoothie threw the app. I did put it for curbside pick up so I wouldn't have to walk into the store. Smoothies are delicious. The reason for my low review is because I ordered online to avoid waiting but I ended up waiting 30 minutes. I did go at a busy time that's why I figured it was taking a while, but people who were there after were getting their smoothies. I was confused.
