This isn't a small mistake. It's an order where almost everything was wrong. And this is nothing new. Over the years we have: * Had to drive all the way back because items were missing from our order. * Received soft drinks that turned out to be nothing but carbonated water because the syrup had run out. * Waited 30 to 40 minutes in the drive thru, which completely defeats the purpose of fast food. * Dined inside only to find sticky tables and empty utensil dispensers. None of these things by themselves would make me swear off a restaurant. But when they happen over and over again, they paint a picture of a location that simply does not care about quality, accuracy, or the customer experience. It's disappointing because Portillo's has built a reputation for great food. Unfortunately, the Homewood location consistently fails to live up to that reputation.
