Still my go to for sandwiches in the area. The service is excellent and the food is always fantastic. And if you get on their email list, they are always sending out specials where you can get $5 off your next meal. Great place to go in Whiting, Indiana!! read more

Found this spot on trusty Yelp after a day of moving! My husband thinks that's so cool I find great spots! He wanted White Castle! No Sir! No can do! We drove to downtown Whiting, IN to Griller's and boy they didn't disappoint!!! The service was fantastic! Very welcoming staff as soon as we walked in! Thank you! We ordered pasta, Alfredo and Penne. They come with soup or salad. I got the salad and it was awesome! Hubby got the soup of the day and it was DELICIOUS! Creamy tortilla soup! Perfection! The restaurant is a nice space and it was awesome to see a group of young ladies who played softball or baseball come in with their families and eat! We appreciate supporting local businesses! Looking forward to returning to try a burger! read more

This place is consistently good and something I recommend to anyone in the area. Ordered for about 20 people once from here and everyone gave a good review. read more

Great service! Great food! Versatile menu! Amazing soups!! Wish they stayed open later

Stopped here randomly when passing through nearby. Great sandwiches and I love anywhere that has homemade chips! Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely worth stopping in at if you're nearby. read more

Never really order here. Order put in over phone. Waited 35 minutes going in and out to watch my dog in 90 degree heat. Came in sweating over and over. They made a mistake. I get it. Could've used a water for me and my pet while waiting. Just refunded and left. Im good not coming back again. read more

I'll make it simple the pastas the steak wrap and steak salad and the burgers and the fries from this place are all really good and not expensive the pasta could come in a larger portion but hey, from the looks the negative reviews are just Karen's and haters place gets a 4.5 star from me better than sunrise down the street but more of a lunch than a breakfast place read more

Have had takeout orders before but sat in and dined in today. I had the veggie skillet, and my husband had the melting pot skillet, both with wheat toast and orange juice. Both came out quickly were fresh and delicious. Food has always been good in the past as well. Service is always friendly and helpful. Would recommend. Thank you for the coupons to use on future orders. Only wish they were open on Sunday's mornings for breakfast/brunch, but everyone deserves time off, too. read more

The food is always delicious here. Great portion size for their food items. Always tastes fresh, and made to order.

I used to love this place. I got a burger, and I don't know what kind of meat they use, but it was absolutely terrible. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a good burger. read more

LOVE Grillers! Their Rudy Club with the homemade chips is my go to. Delivery is always quick and so is pick up. Great bang for your buck, definitely one of my top spots in the area. read more

We were visiting the area and needed to grab a bite before heading to an event in the area. Located in a neat downtown area, we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was very busy during our visit; with plenty of people eating there and numerous orders being picked up. We are there and found it to be clean and comfortable. They offer a huge menu with pastas, wraps, wings and more. Not looking for a real heavy meal, we ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap (with tots) and a Grilled chicken pita fajita with home cooked chips. I enjoyed the flavorful and saucy wrap. My dining partner enjoyed her chicken on a pita. I snuck a couple chips but thought they were pretty unremarkable. Overall, the food was good and the price was reasonable. That is a pretty great combo any day of the week! read more

Came into Grillers after visiting the Mascot Hall of Fame to grab some grub. My husband got the BBQ bacon cheddar burger since he insists in burgers everywhere, but I can't judge as I went for the club sandwich which is usual for me. I am interested in going to try more from their expansive menu because their pasta looks delicious. I devoured my sandwich and I will admit I loved the addition of avocado, which is not usual for a classic club sandwich. Their fries were pretty good as well, but I have had better. My husband loved his burger as much as I liked my sandwich and he also admitted he would like to come back to try more of their menu. read more

Last week me and my family stopped by a favorite of ours Grillers, after me and my son got haircuts at wonderful The Mustache Lounge. We ate in the dining room and I will say man Grillers knows how to make a good bacon cheeseburger! For me any cheeseburger with jalapeños will always have my heart and soul and the sweet potato fries I got were perfectly salty and sweet, a great side to a good ole cheeseburger. My wife loves the veggie wrap it's her go to and my son got the BBQ chicken sandwich (they ate it too quick so I couldn't get a picture) We will be back soon Grillers!! Thanks for the wonderful meal, my family enjoyed it! Rodney Out! (: read more

Grillers - Jalapeño Cheese Burger & Sweet Potato Fries - New American Near Me - Whiting, Indiana

Well.... Creamy basil pesto pasta dish is super yummy! Almost enough to share with someone. Chicken and veggies (soup of the day), LOTS of veggies, no chicken, super salty. Italian beef sandwich, I cannot say enough good things! Tender, flavorful, moist, fresh bread, giardiniera is delightful. Fries are good. I ordered Caesar salad with choice NY strip. Salad, fresh and good. Dressing is a little tangy but really good. Steak.....NO, NO, NO. Cooked at least 2 hours ago. I politely asked the owner to make me a fresh one, that mine was crispy and rock hard. Her response "For real?". Yes for real please. She promptly followed me to my table to take the old steak. I suggested she try chewing it. New steak, fresh and good. Uh, yea. Do with this what you wil. read more

Grillers hits the spot every single time. Fresh veggies, delicious pasta sauces, great burgers, perfect fries... I don't think I could live without their poblano cream penne pasta. I recently tried the fudge cake for the first time and it blew my mind. WHAT CAN'T THEY DO?!? read more

The food was not bad at all, however they need to learn to listen to what's the customer says they want on the food, as our orders were messed up with different seasonings and toppings that we asked not to put on there. My only word of advice would be make sure to check your order before you leave. Although not a bad option if you don't have much to choose from. read more

I try to be kind to Whiting, IN. If you drive from Chicago over the Skyway bridge, you understand why the Place-With-No-Starbucks deserves your charity. Grillers is hanging on by a thread. Internet service is gone. TVs don't work. They are open for breakfast, but have no breakfast menu. One table rocks, a leg out of joint... Locals clearly enjoy the place: Why? Quick Quantities of food needed to survive their hardscrabble existences in factories and mills. My $8.00 3 egg omelette arrived with enough undercooked, diced potatoes to feed a family in Ireland for a week! It came with toast in case one needed More Carbs, and a side of three strips of see-through bacon (cheapest grade possible, and sill be bacon). Hot coffee kept flowing. Great music, earned extra star! read more

Quality of food and prep has declined a since opening. Food is made fast and friendly staff. More fresh options would be great.

My three friends and I stopped by here for lunch on our weekend roadtrip to Nashville. 1. Asada wrap, 9 http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/d2r1BH0jICWtbmQwhzyqsw?userid=2fN8mN7uUjOw-QqtcgYqXQ Delicious, one of the best wraps I've ever had. The steak was cooked nicely, and the complements (avocado, bacon, deliciousness) were perfect. It also comes with a side of fries, tater tots, or salad. My friend's pasta seemed mediocre (she said it was too cheesy), so I would definitely recommend the steak wrap. Street parking available. read more

Foods good, service is not. Called to make sure the pasta I ordered wasn't spicy, was told no, it was, no refund which was ok given, which ok because it's a poblano pepper pasta. Then proceeded to order the sundried tomato pasta with shrimp, because I'm pescatarian and got chicken. When I called was told "well you were charged for the chicken". Basic customer service skills you apologize for the inconvenience and or mistake and make a new order. We had to go back a 3rd time just to eat. read more

Food is consistently delicious. Onion rings, tater tots, Baja soup, lemon herb shrimp with fettuccine and the jalapeño cheeseburger are some of my favorite items here. I normally do takeout but they do have seating. Workers are friendly and service is always fast. Never had a problem with food or any orders read more

Their website says breakfast until 10:30 but they won't make it past 10. Lost my business and made me sad

We were on our way to Ann Arbor from downtown Chicago and decided to stop in here for some quick lunch. The place is small and was packed when we showed up at 1245. You place your order and pay at the front before finding a table to sit at. My dad and I both ordered the blackened Cajun chicken wrap with tater tots. My mom ordered the carne asada wrap with French fries. We all loved our food. The meats were juicy and flavorful. The vegetables in both wraps were fresh and crisp. The avocado in the carne asada wrap was especially good. The tater tots were really good with a crunchy outer shell. The French fries were not that good. They are your basic French fries, frozen not fresh. Overall this place was extremely good and had reasonable prices. If I am ever in Whiting or the surrounding area again I would definitely stop here. read more

Grillers - A little over halfway through the blackened Cajun chicken wrap. So delicious - New American Near Me - Whiting, Indiana

We've had burgers from here and the tuna sandwich. My husband and I loved both selections. We've been here several times and always order those two things. The service is fast, friendly and relaxed. We're never rushed when making decisions, and there ARE decisions to be made. The tuna is well done, so don't expect a sear. We haven't dined in, we've always gone to order inside, the restaurant is clean, open and casual. read more

They have the best wraps and fries around. Period. Everyone at work loves the burgers as wel as their tater tots.
