Will update as needed but first impression is this was a mistake. All 18 bottles are frozen solid with slush and product on the outside of the bottles. Clearly bottles were not sealed meaning that air got in and product got out. Nothing on the website says that these cold pressed juices are frozen solid for their 3 day cleanse. I'll be leaving all 3 in the refrigerator overnight to thaw and update tomorrow read more

I absolutely love this establishment. Kudos to the beautiful young ladies that brought this concept to life. Not only serving juices, but healthy food options, and all natural soaps, lotions, and body scrubs. The entire place is beautifully decorated and it's ambience alone calms my soul. I just returned from a newly visited location in Midlothian, as my usual frequented location in Palos is temporarily closed. I have no problem going the extra distance to get my juice fix. The girls working are just so friendly, big smiles, and they make you feel as if you've been invited into their home. I love it here! I believe I had the pleasure to meet one of the owners mothers' which was an absolute pleasure and I was sure to express my gratitude to her daughters direct impact on the quality of my health. The food and juices here are absolutely prime nutritional excellence. I can remember several times in my life where I was not well- malnourished, run down, sick, or just being a mom and not putting myself first; I'm confident these juices were a lifesaver. They bring me back to life and give my body the much needed fuel and nutrition it's craving. I consider it my saving grace. Wow!! This place has definitely met my expectations when it came to juices/sweets. Small family business with honest/welcoming staff and owners. The menu selection/variety are very impressive with the aroma/presentation matching every taste bud with goodness!! I recommend if you are in the South suburbs. After my workout, I looked for something to help me replenish & fuel me for the next segment of my day. In my search for juice bars, Shic was the closest option to the gym. Thus my journey began. Upon arrival, I discovered parking is pretty much nonexistent. You cannot park in the two adjoining lots (one for the Post Office, the other for Firestone). You will have to try to snag one on the street & good luck to you if you end up having to cross Pulaski Rd as I did. Onward! The juice bar is a boutique that offers juices, smoothies, wellness shots & some food items. While waiting in the petite, posh lobby, I discovered oils, sage, sea moss gel in addition to the juice bar offerings. On this first trip, I discovered that there are not many variations for the wellness shots & most of the things I saught were not available (bitter melon, lemon, Apple cider) but no worries when in Rome... I tried the immunity shot & it was still pretty tasty, and I would order it again. I also ordered the charcoal water La Aqua Negra, the avocado cucumber toast sandwich, & the black bean soup. All of these items were delicious! I cannot wait to get back to try them again. The sandwich & the soup were fresh & well-seasoned, providing this unexpected but perfect punch of flavor. The only downside to this visit was although I was the only patron in the lobby, it took over 20 minutes to get my wellness shot, bottle of water, soup & sandwich. It appears that the best method of purchasing items at this location was placing an order for pick up in advance. I could not try any of the juices as I was advised it would be at least an hour wait; there were orders ahead of mines. The waiting & the inability to order items would have usually led me to rate less than five stars, but the sandwich & soup were worth the wait, and I now know just order before leaving the gym. read more

Visited Juiced by Shic for the first time today, as I have been to this establishment before but only for the nail salon. As soon as you walk in you are immersed in the ambiance of the fresh fruit and juice drinks. They offer a wide variety of fresh juices, smoothies, acia bowls and baked goods. They also offer detox program specials. I was actually surprised with all of the offerings. I was greeted right away upon entry and there is a small bar area for seating while you wait for your order. The smoothies come in two different size offering the 16 oz and 20 oz. After ordering the Mango Delight, the cashier explained to me about their rewards program with every ten you get a free drink (smoothie/juice) and handed me a receipt with a special text code to use to sign up for the program. I ordered the Mango Delight and I waited less than 15 minutes for my drink and I was on my way. There is limited street parking as the location is next door to the post office. However, that should not be a deterrent to visit as your wait for service is very short. I will say I almost thought I had the wrong drink because my Mango Delight was not as pictured (mango orange color) on their menu. The drink was green, I guess due to the kale. Nevertheless, the smoothie had a very smooth taste to it and was very fresh. When I am back in the area, I will definitely come back and try some of their juices and other offerings. read more

This is a newly opened Juice Bar in the South Suburbs of Chicago, FINALLY, we are well overdue.l in which i discovered e day scrolling through my instagram page. Juice by Shic is operated and owned by this lovely couple Syn and Tone. First let me say the location is next to a nail shop there not much signage out front except the two banners which you can see in my photos so the first day i was looking for this location I drove right by it. So i finally get to try this magical juice and boy wasn't i impressed my first juice was Mango delight a 20oz and oh unless you're hungry go for the smaller cup because the smoothies are very full feeling. They have a small refrigerator inside this juice bar with some already prepared juices and of course i was super excited to try them all but my wallet said otherwise I decided to purchase 2 16 oz prepared frozen juices, Get Carrot Away and a Re-Start. I was pleased with both although i drank them at a later date. Nevertheless they are running a promotion from July 14-21 if you make an in store purchase you can enter a raffle to win an All Inclusive Vacation yo Mexico. How exciting!!!! My smoothie was absolutely amazing. They open very early so I can get one for breakfast before work. Excellent customer care and they have a rewards program. Beautiful set up with more options than just juice and smoothies. They have healthy breakfast options and organic handmade soaps and oils etc. VERRRRYYYY nice place. I had a horrible experience here after thinking I found a substitute for Rashidat because the location was closer to the facility where I work. A group of nurses & respiratory therapists order from here almost daily and the Açaí bowl that I received was watery so I sent an email asking management to replace it, not the entire $83 order. Tone never looked into the sale & told me to take it up with the delivery company. Granted, a coworker placed the order, I only had her 1st name & I sent Tone the screenshot from the order directly from her phone, but that wasn't enough for Tone to simply offer a new Açaí bowl. I sent the email a day after the purchase, yet he sends me an email stating he looked for a receipt on the day I sent the email. This was not the 1st time we had orders that were t right, BUT IT WILL BE THE LAST! The unprofessionalism of the responses were insulting. Tone went so far to question my complaint. The mitigated gall and audacity to suggest that I would file a false claim. .....soooo nevertheless after Tone sent me 10 emails & never even looked at his systems to justify giving me a replacement NOT a refund! Just moved into Midlothian this a hidden little gem with tremendous potential. The menu has a variety of drinks with explanations on the health benefits of each drink. The juice bar is actually right front of a semi exclusive nail salon. It was a bit unorthodox. The awning promotes the nail salon but when u walk in it's cute little juice bar. I was a bit disappointed, the greeters did not offer much support, (suggestion: have someone ask people it's their first time when they come in & if they say yes give us a brief summary of all your shop has to offer, if they say no, welcome them back) when I asked the server, what would they recommend or what was their personal favorite, one employee was not familiar with some of the drinks‍(suggestion: have the juicers try all the juices so they can recommend something in particular or at least be able to describe the juices. Another thing I note was all the empty glass jars on the shelves‍. I was really curious to see all you had to offer & sadly was not at all informed.
