I have only been to this location twice since it was opened like 2-3 years back. Both times, the shop was weirdly empty and all the employees would be in the back. Not sure if Smoothie King is really a niche shop that get customers sparsely, or if it's truly like that all the time. But the ambiance of the store is unsettling , for a lack of a better word. Especially when I dork even see the employees off the bat. They sporadically come out the back and take orders. The 2 smoothies I have gotten from here are not good. They just weren't good combination of fruit flavors, and sometimes the protein flavor. The drink in the image was my recent purchase, and it was a Metabolism Boost drink. The Strawberry Pineapple. I usually like flavors such as that, plus I like protein powders. However, this drink was the most disgusting thing I've tasted in a while. In March, 2023, my husband surprised me by ordering 2 Smoothies from this Smoothie King for delivery through UberEats. We had never had smoothies from this business before and I was pleasantly surprised how delicious the smoothie was. He enjoyed his also. Since I enjoyed mine so much, he decided to order the same 2 Smoothies again (one Strawberry and one in Vanilla) on 6/10/23 delivered through UberEats. When the female driver arrived, she only gave my husband one unpackaged Vanilla smoothie, mine was missing. He questioned the driver who told him that's all that was given to her. My husband was not happy and in turn let UberEats know about the missing item. My husband decided to give this establishment another chance, and on 7/13/23, he ordered the same two Smoothies (Vanilla and the other Strawberry) through UberEats delivery. When the male delivery driver came, once again only one unpackaged smoothie was delivered. Unbelievable! My husband at this point was livid because once again, this meant he had his smoothie and I had nothing. At this point, he decided to call the establishment. He spoke to a young lady there and explained the situation. The lady told him it's not their fault but the drivers fault for not grabbing both smoothies. Mind you, the driver on 6/10 was a female, the one on 7/13 was male - 2 totally different drivers but the same situation of a missing smoothie so that makes no sense. Shocked by her response, hubby asked to speak to a manager. She replied that she WAS the manager. My husband told her due to this issue happening again, the establishment not taking accountability and trying to make things right, he would not be patronizing this business again. Her reply was "Okay" and she hung up the phone. So basically, this employee who claimed to be the manager was fine with losing customers. My husband had to let UberEats know again of a missing smoothie. In no way is this situation right or fair. This business was patronized three times by my husband and basically they did not want to make the situation right or value him or I as customers for the mistake that was made. What else is unsettling is that when the driver drops off the smoothie, there is no sealed bag it's put in to secure it in making sure no one but the customer drinks out of it. That's a health concern. Many places that deliver drinks do that so that the customer feels safe in knowing that it hasn't been touched by someone else other than them. I do hope management sees this review and addresses it. No other customer should go through what we have twice. Businesses thrive on its customers but this establishment just didn't seem to care about us as customers. Rest assured, we as consumers care about who our money goes to and is deserving of. Always appreciative of a good smoothie that I do not have to make myself or clean up after. Hanging out with my husband running errands we decided to stop in. Very happy we did. I love the earthy smell of fresh fruits and green leaves. Always grateful knowing our smoothies are made fresh and served fast. read more

Rating has always been 5 in the past. Today would have been a 3, so I'm averaging it to a 4 I love the smoothies here! There are so many options. They also have random promotions to try new items. When they do, they get super busy, even with a line out the door. Today they had a free 12oz watermelon xtreme promotion going on. It was only for customers who ordered in the store, so I placed my order for a different smoothie through the app and told my boyfriend to ask for the free promotion when he got there. Unfortunately, the line was out the door, so he just grabbed my order and left. I had to shop in the area later, so I stopped by and ordered it. When I did, there were two customers ahead of me, but they were still slammed from online orders. So even when I got to the front of the line, I had to wait to place my order. I totally understand this having worked in the service industry, but I'm sure it upsets people. My boyfriend who hasn't worked in the service industry said they need to hire more people because every time he goes in there is only one person working. When I was here tonight there were thankfully two, but I can't imagine doing this job with only one. From a customer service standpoint, my one gripe is that the staff don't acknowledge customers. My recommendation would be for them to greet people and let them know they will be right with them, rather than just ignore them. I was there for 20 minutes today. read more

Today, i was craving an acai bowl! i've been to this location a couple times and it's never failed me so i trustingly go. unfortunately when i get there to order, they tell me "we're only making bowls if it's an online order" now im not really a confrontational person but i was so confused. why is it that they're only taking orders on bowls if it's placed online? they weren't busy. me & a single costumer other costumer walked in & there was only one employee aimlessly walking. i could've easily just downloaded the app and ordered online but i was left so confused and disappointed i didn't want to give them my money. read more

I went to this location on 4/24 and had a really bad allergic reaction. I have no known food allergies, and get the same smoothie all the at least 3 times a week. My tongue swelled, my airway closed, my heart rate skyrocketed to 174 BPM in a matter of a minute, and I had to call an ambulance. It had to be the smoothie because I hadn't had anything else to eat but the smoothie and water. As mentioned, I have no known food allergies so I'm under the belief that they potentially left cleaning solution in the blender or on some equipment. I reached out to corporate, and they offered me a free smoothie as a rectification so yeah. Good luck if you go here. Update... I reached out to the email address provided by the owner, which turned out to be an invalid. They could've just as easily looked up the incident which there is record of on an email thread, or sent me a direct message here... but this is just an attempt to simply appear concerned to anyone who reads this review. read more

Love the metabolism boost strawberry pineapple. It's delicious and helps give that boost you need through the day with out that crash.

I order on the app and 99.99 it is ready when I get there. Before my estimated ready time. They are always so friendly and always make my smoothies just right. One time they had no customers and it took a long time to get my order. With me everyone has a mistake here and there. I will not damage my pre-determined 5 star rating over one instance. The employees are not wearing their masks right and have people stacked onto each other in the small building

People were not 6 feet apart, and they got my order wrong and when i got it, it was unfrozen and like soggy kind of.

I went in on the Thursday before Memorial Day a few weeks ago and the staff there (it was one male and one female) were super kind and helpful not only to me but the others that followed behind me and were there before I was. They were working on several online orders as well as walk-ins so obviously the two seemed flustered but were never wavering in their smiles and their respect for their guests. They were also super understanding in my worry about having my 3 year old puppy waiting outside in my car before a long car ride (it wasn't too hot or too cold out and being a goldendoodle she had the extra fur to keep her warm for the unpredictable cold rainy weather and I knew she'd be fine for the few minutes I was inside the store). As a fellow food service industry employee I can understand how much a kind face and attitude is reciprocated by both a guest and an employee.
