They also have random promotions to try new items. When they do, they get super busy, even with a line out the door. Today they had a free 12oz watermelon xtreme promotion going on. It was only for customers who ordered in the store, so I placed my order for a different smoothie through the app and told my boyfriend to ask for the free promotion when he got there. Unfortunately, the line was out the door, so he just grabbed my order and left. I had to shop in the area later, so I stopped by and ordered it. When I did, there were two customers ahead of me, but they were still slammed from online orders. So even when I got to the front of the line, I had to wait to place my order. I totally understand this having worked in the service industry, but I'm sure it upsets people. My boyfriend who hasn't worked in the service industry said they need to hire more people because every time he goes in there is only one person working.
