I revisited Avocado Theory today, looking for vegan options and found their avocado vegan panini…read moreand the avocado brownie, which is also a vegan delicacy. I dug in and enjoyed every morsel. It was well prepared, fresh, and delicious. I also indulged in a couple bottles of their smoothies, blueberry with avocado, banana, bananas, cane sugar, and a strawberry banana with the same cane sugar also vegan friendly. I originally learned of this place when I worked in Tinley Park a couple years ago and drove all the way from Chicago today to go there to treat myself. As usual, I was greeted with kindness by Chris, who was working the register at the time. The ambience is surreal, it provides a quiet place to enjoy your food, read, work or if you need to just reflect on life. This is one of my favorites and although they're not close to Chicago, it's worth the drive! I was a little disappointed that they no longer have my avocado rolls. I really enjoyed those but everything is still good. I wish I could get more vegan options on the menu but overall, Avocado Theory is a 12 out of 10.

I was dropping off a package at UPS when I noticed this tea place. I had wanted to try a creme…read morebrulee drink with milk tea, but they only had it with coffee. I love coffee too, especially Vietnamese coffee because it's strong and highly caffeinated, and the guy warned me that he's had a few people get the shakes after drinking it. So, I said bring it on and ordered a large. Creme brulee coffee: This is an iced drink. The small comes with 2 shots of Vietnamese coffee whereas the large comes with 3. He said the 2 Vietnamese coffee shots are equivalent to 18 regular espresso shots. Well, I can definitely say it's strong in flavor, but it's yummy! Since I tend to drink slowly, I should have asked for little or no ice, but that's okay. It's just something to keep in mind for next time. And given how strong it is, I think the large is enough for me to drink over 3-4 sessions. So, when I get home, I'm going to pull out the ice, and keep it in the fridge. Overall, I'm happy with my drink, and I will be back to try the milk tea with cheese foam. I love a good cheese foam and it's hard to find at the tea places around Tinley/Orland. Most have a foam topping, but not a cheese foam.

What a great place!…read more This was our first time at Eggheadz. Two of us met a third person here at 9:30 am on a Thursday. They only seat you when your party is complete, so we waited about 5 minutes until our third person arrived. They have a row of chairs - so that was nice. The hostess staff was quite pleasant as was all the waitstaff. Kat was our server and she did a great job. My wife and I split the Gypsy Skillet. It was real tasty and it was huge. We could barely finish it. Our friend's breakfast was also huge. She took half of it home including half her pancakes. We all agreed that Egg Headz Cafe is our new go to when we get together in the area. Thanks Kat and all at Egg Headz for great meals and great service. We will be back.

One of the days I worked remotely and had a table for a few hours. I noted how clean and neat the café was and the good condition of the furniture and carpeting. I've seen some really rundown Panera breads. The service was fine and some of the servers were more friendly than others, but I could not possibly complain about anything. The closest thing to a complaint is that I stopped in one evening around 8 PM, an hour before close, and asked for a cup of decaf. They didn't have any, but the server was super pleasant and said she'd be happy to bruise them for me. No problem. Also, something I've never seen after working remotely at many Panera's, someone walked around offering samples that they're baked goods. When I picked up the lunch order from my office today, they included a sample of a baked good in my bag. Really nice touch, no complaints here. I don't really love food at Panera, maybe just the soup. Prices have gone up and that the corporate decision but I think this is one of the nicer cafés that I've been to.
