    Buddha bowl

The service and staff are amazing! Food is fresh and delicious. Vegan and gluten free options. The Buddha bowl is excellent with delicious falafel. Atmosphere is very nice. Large windows in second dining area. I have had the falafel wrap at a food truck from Avocado Theory too!

We stopped by for lunch on a Saturday afternoon to meet our family as they have been here before and highly recommend. As expected, everything on the menu has avocado! this place is definitely casual as you walk in and place your order and then sit down and they bring it to you. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They don't serve soda but do have a couple tea options My only issue is the service when we went was super slow. It seemed as though they were understaffed for the amount of customers but our food took a long time. The appetizers came out with the food (fried avocado - would not order again but interesting to try) and then my nephews food was at least 15 minutes after everyone else (all he ordered was the pancakes) we had to go check on the food because it was taking so long. I will say the staff was friendly about it and also brought some fun coloring squares and stickers to the kids which was a fun bonus. Overall I enjoyed my food. The wrap was a little dry so next time I would add more sauce if I got it again.

My friends and I came here for lunch, and my feelings are a bit mixed. I live in the neighborhood, so we walked over from my place. I can't comment on their parking situation, but I believe they do have a small lot. The place is cozy, but it has a restaurant feel to it. The staff were warm and welcoming. We were greeted right away, and menus were available in a wall bin for us to grab and review before ordering at the counter. After placing your order, you can choose your seat, and your food will be brought to your table. One friend got the chicken wrap and avocado cheesecake and went to grab a table. Another ordered the chicken panini and avocado colada and was given a table number. I also ordered the chicken panini along with avocado egg rolls, but I wasn't given a table number. We didn't realize only one of us had a table number until she mentioned it, but thankfully, the cashier who took our orders brought the food directly to us. There was a small hiccup with my order--the family behind us got their food before mine. It wasn't a big issue since we were catching up, and the cashier was very apologetic when my meal finally arrived, which I appreciated. As for the food, my friends thought their sandwiches lacked flavor, and my panini didn't have any avocado. I realized something was missing, but didn't notice exactly what until I was almost done eating--partly because I was just enjoying spending time with my friends. My friends enjoyed their colada and cheesecake. We shared the egg rolls, which we also enjoyed; the ingredients were fresh. Although my sandwich didn't have avocados, it won't deter me from coming back and trying another menu item. I really like the creativity of incorporating avocados into appetizers, drinks, and desserts, and I'd love to try another menu item next time.

In June during my travels I had opportunity to try this quaint restaurant for lunch. I love avocados so when I realized that is the main ingredient for all their items on the menu I was interested. First of all, avocados are so good for you and the way it's prepared in the sandwich was superb. Also, that homemade avocado green dressing is so delicious you can drink it...put it on everything. My favorite was the avocado fries and the vegan falafel avocado wrap and well balanced with flavors. The chicken panini is also a good go-to on the menu for lunch. It's a big sandwich so I had leftovers. Also, the freshly made juices is a good perk for that healthy beverage. Next time I'm in town will definitely want to go try more menu items. Its' on a busy street but in quiet nice suburb. They also have a cute patio if you want to dine outdoors.

VERY VERY GOOD, Hardy and Healthy Fish was wild caught and delicious Chicken sandwich was bomb service is great Cool ambience

Honey garlic chicken.. More like Teriyaki..disappointed. it tasted like it was made yesterday.

Im pleased to report that I received a refund for my meal that did not meet my satisfaction...

Too bad. I really liked this place. I found a wire in my food and it cut my mouth. They said they would make it right. Never heard from them again. Hate to leave someone a bad review. Check your food before you eat. Almost gave some to my baby.

Absolutely love Avocado Theory! It's such a cute place to visit and the quality of food is amazing! It's so creative how far you can use avocado in food and a great fat for our diets. I loved the quality and different options for everyone. The food is generous portions as well. Service was really great!

Love avocados! I try putting them on everything! When they become a little too soft, I make guacamole or smash them on some really good toast. Imagine my surprise to walk into a restaurant where EVERYTHING is avocado themed. Want fries with that, try the avocado fries. Thinking of philly cheesesteaks, try the avocado philly. In the mood for breakfast, try the avocado pancakes. Just want dessert, craving a little something sweet, try the avocado cheesecake. Or maybe you just want a refreshing drink, try an avocado smoothie. The menus are so vibrant and colorful that the food almost jumps up and kisses you. Can't wait to go back for MORE avocado themed goodies. They even sell avocado merch.

Unfortunately I finally have to make a negative review. It seems ever since the new location has opened, every time I come to this location I leave unsatisfied. For example, my favorite thing and go-to item: the avocado fries. Multiple times they have come out cold/undercooked. And the sauce always seems to taste quite different each visit. Today it was spicy which was unexpected. I also ordered avocado toast plain; it had a lot of large brown spots and I also found 2 seeds hidden in the avocado. Thankfully I'm not allergic but that's seriously disappointing. Lastly, if a drink is that expensive, I feel it should come in a glass cup instead of a plastic bottle. Please make some improvements!! I love coming here and don't want that to change.

Picky eater here . I ran across Avocado Theory on my out of Naperville and made a u-turn to check it out. Well worth the effort. I was told they opened on May 5. I tried the avocado toast sampler, the pancakes, and the strawberry refresher. The staff were extremely welcoming before I even walked in the door and the food was beyond delicious. They answered my questions regarding how the food was made and what it was made with. I truly appreciate the quality of service and food and will be back soon! Shoutout to Ashley, one of the co-owners for taking the time to speak to me.

Cute little counter-service restaurant on the main drag. Families and friends were dining out on a Friday. I thought the kids menu was very well designed with a juice, a fruit, main (eg. grilled cheese) and little salad. 10/10 for that. The adults in our group got the fettuccine (10/10) and ramen (not bad, gingery miso style broth; a bit pricey for what it is, but you do get an extremely large bowl). The mushroom soup was not so good. Overall it was a fun experience and worthy of a return trip. The staff were very engaged and friendly. Parking along the main street was easy to find.

They make banana bread here and sell it by the loaf - well I had to get some. Took that puppy home and put it in the freezer. After a week or so we took it out - and it was excellent! First sandwich was a custom sub sandwich of turkey, Genoa salami, and rosemary ham with cheese, tomatoes, vinegar/oil, and Italian spices. How a sandwich could taste funny is beyond me, but it did. The meat tasted old and was flavorless. It was pre-cut, not freshly cut meat, so who knows how long it had been sitting out in the counter. The bread was stale, could have broke windows with it. They barely put any meat on it (not that I would have wanted more), the sandwich was all bread. No Italian herbs on sandwich. And the icing on the cake, instead of putting a nice, fresh vinegar and oil/sub oil on the sandwich, I was given a two ounce little package of some generic vinegar and oil that was pre-fabricated by some wholesale company, which also tasted really off. The second regrettable purchase was an Italian sausage sandwich. That too was horrendous. The sausage itself had a funny, off taste, not a nice blend of seasonings. And not that I would have wanted more, but the Italian sausage was old and shriveled, so it was like a child-size portion. I asked for some red sauce on the side, let's just say Ragu would have been better, and that's not saying much. To add further insult to injury, the bun was stale. Also got some Nutella butter cookies that they farm in from D'Amatos that is in the city. I have been in D'Amatos and I love their cookies. With that said, these D'Amato cookies were stale/also tasted off. The tip-off should have been the fact that they must have had fifty or more packaged D'Amatos cookies on their shelf. They are bumping $10.00 for around maybe 12 cookies, so they obviously don't sell all that quickly, turn stale, and there you have it. Also weird vibe in there. The employees (including the Rubino son who is always in the deli area) are not friendly at all. I might be a little bit more forgiving if the employees/owner were nice but they are just really indifferent and very unfriendly (especially the owner). Very unfortunate. Sandwiches from Subway would have been better.
