Nice spot for a good brunch on the healthy side. The omelet came with avocado toast. It is counter service where you order and pay and your food is brought to you.
Exceptional Service and a Vibrant Atmosphere The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the Grade A service; the staff is attentive and truly enhances the visit. As for the menu, the Avocado Fries are a must-order, though they are best enjoyed immediately to appreciate that perfect crunch.
We stopped by for lunch on a Saturday afternoon to meet our family as they have been here before and highly recommend. As expected, everything on the menu has avocado! this place is definitely casual as you walk in and place your order and then sit down and they bring it to you. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They don't serve soda but do have a couple tea options My only issue is the service when we went was super slow. It seemed as though they were understaffed for the amount of customers but our food took a long time. The appetizers came out with the food (fried avocado - would not order again but interesting to try) and then my nephews food was at least 15 minutes after everyone else (all he ordered was the pancakes) we had to go check on the food because it was taking so long. I will say the staff was friendly about it and also brought some fun coloring squares and stickers to the kids which was a fun bonus. Overall I enjoyed my food. The wrap was a little dry so next time I would add more sauce if I got it again.

We were greeted right away, and menus were available in a wall bin for us to grab and review before ordering at the counter. After placing your order, you can choose your seat, and your food will be brought to your table. One friend got the chicken wrap and avocado cheesecake and went to grab a table. Another ordered the chicken panini and avocado colada and was given a table number. I also ordered the chicken panini along with avocado egg rolls, but I wasn't given a table number. We didn't realize only one of us had a table number until she mentioned it, but thankfully, the cashier who took our orders brought the food directly to us. There was a small hiccup with my order--the family behind us got their food before mine. It wasn't a big issue since we were catching up, and the cashier was very apologetic when my meal finally arrived, which I appreciated. As for the food, my friends thought their sandwiches lacked flavor, and my panini didn't have any avocado. I realized something was missing, but didn't notice exactly what until I was almost done eating--partly because I was just enjoying spending time with my friends. My friends enjoyed their colada and cheesecake. We shared the egg rolls, which we also enjoyed; the ingredients were fresh. Although my sandwich didn't have avocados, it won't deter me from coming back and trying another menu item. I really like the creativity of incorporating avocados into appetizers, drinks, and desserts, and I'd love to try another menu item next time.
In June during my travels I had opportunity to try this quaint restaurant for lunch. I love avocados so when I realized that is the main ingredient for all their items on the menu I was interested. First of all, avocados are so good for you and the way it's prepared in the sandwich was superb. Also, that homemade avocado green dressing is so delicious you can drink it...put it on everything. My favorite was the avocado fries and the vegan falafel avocado wrap and well balanced with flavors. The chicken panini is also a good go-to on the menu for lunch. It's a big sandwich so I had leftovers. Also, the freshly made juices is a good perk for that healthy beverage. Next time I'm in town will definitely want to go try more menu items. Its' on a busy street but in quiet nice suburb. They also have a cute patio if you want to dine outdoors.
The food is incredibly tasty. My son is a pancake connoisseur and he approves of them. Daughter tasted all kinds of avocado based food and she said: "That was the best whatever it was I've ever had" Unfortunately can't do it as often as we want to because things are a bit pricier but they are worth it.
I ordered the bacon egg croissant, by what the picture looks like on the website it makes it look very fresh, but no my avocado came rotten. I took one bite and it tasted off, so I opened the croissant up, and all the avocado they put on it was old and blackish/brownish. I am pregnant so i was genuinely craving this meal thinking I was going to love it but I couldn't even eat the meal after that, the avocado was super bad and rotten, which is crazy because they are known for their fresh avocados. On top of that, I called in right when I placed the order to ask for extra avocados and the guy over the phone sounded rude and had an attitude. You would think that they would use fresh avocados and throw the bad ones out but no. They also probably thought I wouldn't see it since it was under everything in the croissant, but the minute I bite into it I could just taste the spoiled avocado coming from it. I also ordered from them a while ago and I ordered a kids grilled cheese, it was okay, the strawberries weren't very fresh and it also didn't come with the apple juice I was supposed to get with it. Overall the quality and service was not what I would have expected and hopefully they do something about it because it is not right.
Absolutely love Avocado Theory! It's such a cute place to visit and the quality of food is amazing! It's so creative how far you can use avocado in food and a great fat for our diets. I loved the quality and different options for everyone. The food is generous portions as well. Service was really great!
Love avocados! I try putting them on everything! When they become a little too soft, I make guacamole or smash them on some really good toast. Imagine my surprise to walk into a restaurant where EVERYTHING is avocado themed. Want fries with that, try the avocado fries. Thinking of philly cheesesteaks, try the avocado philly. In the mood for breakfast, try the avocado pancakes. Just want dessert, craving a little something sweet, try the avocado cheesecake. Or maybe you just want a refreshing drink, try an avocado smoothie. The menus are so vibrant and colorful that the food almost jumps up and kisses you. Can't wait to go back for MORE avocado themed goodies. They even sell avocado merch.

This avocado toast was so good I almost forgot to take a picture to post lol. The egg and bacon were cooked to order (and accurately medium egg btw). The service is great but also they're healthy (no sugary drinks) infused waters as well as sustainably conscious with their Tapari plates handmade from plants in Nepal! For a nice light breakfast that's still filling and flavorful where every seat is a window view I highly recommend Avocado Theory!!! read more
Omg the food here is amazing! Reasonable prices and lots of food for the price. Healthy and so delicious! Best of both worlds. Servers were so nice as well. Bigger space for larger groups to come. The patio portion of the seating area was nice too. Will definitely come back here again. read more

The service and staff are amazing! Food is fresh and delicious. Vegan and gluten free options. The Buddha bowl is excellent with delicious falafel. Atmosphere is very nice. Large windows in second dining area. I have had the falafel wrap at a food truck from Avocado Theory too! read more

Absolutely love Avocado Theory! It's such a cute place to visit and the quality of food is amazing! It's so creative how far you can use avocado in food and a great fat for our diets. Too bad. I really liked this place. I found a wire in my food and it cut my mouth. They said they would make it right. Never heard from them again. Hate to leave someone a bad review. Check your food before you eat. Almost gave some to my baby. read more

Cute little counter-service restaurant on the main drag. Families and friends were dining out on a Friday. I thought the kids menu was very well designed with a juice, a fruit, main (eg. grilled cheese) and little salad. 10/10 for that. The adults in our group got the fettuccine (10/10) and ramen (not bad, gingery miso style broth; a bit pricey for what it is, but you do get an extremely large bowl).The mushroom soup was not so good. Overall it was a fun experience and worthy of a return trip. The staff were very engaged and friendly. Parking along the main street was easy to find. read more

Unfortunately I finally have to make a negative review. It seems ever since the new location has opened, every time I come to this location I leave unsatisfied. For example, my favorite thing and go-to item: the avocado fries. Multiple times they have come out cold/undercooked. And the sauce always seems to taste quite different each visit. Today it was spicy which was unexpected. I also ordered avocado toast plain; it had a lot of large brown spots and I also found 2 seeds hidden in the avocado. Thankfully I'm not allergic but that's seriously disappointing. Lastly, if a drink is that expensive, I feel it should come in a glass cup instead of a plastic bottle. Please make some improvements!! I love coming here and don't want that to change. read more

Picky eater here . I ran across Avocado Theory on my out of Naperville and made a u-turn to check it out. Well worth the effort. I was told they opened on May 5. I tried the avocado toast sampler, the pancakes, and the strawberry refresher. The staff were extremely welcoming before I even walked in the door and the food was beyond delicious. They answered my questions regarding how the food was made and what it was made with. I truly appreciate the quality of service and food and will be back soon! A restaurant featuring one of my favorite foods? Sign me up! Billed as America's 1st Avocado Based Restaurant, everything on their menu features avocados, and I am here for it! I went with the Avocado House Sampler ($9.99, 2 avo fries, 2 avo deviled eggs, 2 avo eggrolls halves and 2 avo onion rings. Served with aioli and sweet and sour sauce.) My husband was smart enough to ask if everything included was vegetarian, and the deviled eggs do defaultly come with bacon, but they were able to exclude that. While it was probably more fried foods than I should be eating at this stage of my life lol, everything was delicious! My husband had the Avocado French Toast ($13.99). He enjoyed his meal, but I found it to be overpriced for the serving size. We rounded out our meal with the Avocado Cheesecake ($4.99 for a generous portion) and Lemon Avocado Pound Cake ($2.99). Yum! Honestly, writing this review makes me want to go back right now! Everything was really delicious and creative. Some of the menu items seem to be priced a bit high, but overall, not bad. read more

Truly a 5-star business in my eyes! Located in Tinley Park, this avocado-everything eatery has some incredible dishes and quite the extensive menu. If you're a non-loving avocado person, you WILL find a dish here that you'll like - I promise you that. In some of them the avocado is so hidden you can't even taste it. I absolutely loved the food here; their avocado rice bowls, mango salsa avocado toast, avocado mushroom soup, chicken avocado panini, and their cheesecake & brownies (which yes, are made both with avocado) are utterly delicious. The owner, Krunal, is such a passionate leader who started out selling his guacamole at farmers markets near the location that is now Avocado Theory. Coming from India, he's never had avocados until he came here to the US. Fast forward a few years and obstacles later, Avocado Theory was born! They're also working on a food truck that's launching very soon. Overall, Avocado Theory really took me by surprise. I knew it was going to be tasty, but I didn't know it was going to be THAT delicious! You'll 100% find me here again. I can't wait to try other dishes on the menu. If you want to explore all the wonderful ways you can enjoy an Avocado then Avocado Theory is for you. They have an expansive menu from breakfast to lunch to dinner. I fell in love with the avocado wrap, the cheesy avocado Mac and cheese and the avocado cheesecake. Yes, yummy, delicious goodness goes hand in hand with this restaurant menu. What a unique and amazing take on the avocado. I will be back again to sample more of their menu. They also offer free delivery to certain areas which include Mokena so I see an avocado rice bowl delivery in my near future. read more

I work 5 mins away from Avocado Theory so my coworkers tried them out last time and they deliver within a 10 mile radius. My coworkers already told me that food was delicious so coming in knowing they already love it I had high expectations and they did not disappoint. They have parking in the back which was very convenient. This was my first time there and I tried the mango avocado smoothie, avocado mango salsa toast, avocado chicken cauliflower rice, avocado Mac and cheese and my favorite was the avocado fries and avocado cheesecake. Who knew you can make so many things out of avocado?! Everything was delicious! If you ever have a chance to meet the owner, ask him about his story on Avocado Theory. It is very inspirational and I will definitely spread the words to my clients so they can try it out for themselves and for all the avocado lovers out there! read more

Service, atmosphere, prices...all amazing. The food...even better. All four dishes were amazing. My girlfriend and I are in from out of town and we chose this place from the reviews on Yelp. This is a new location. Its a kiosk format in the lobby of the Orland Park Health & Fitness Center. I was really excited to try this new location because it is 5 minutes from home. And I absolutely love their main restaurant in Tinley Park. I know the location and concept is new. And it needs to be tweaked. However I was disappointed. I expected the place to be staffed and my food to be made fresh. But neither was the case. The food was in containers in the refrigerator and no employees. The food was not labeled properly so you had no idea what was in the container. Everything was premade like you would get at Jewel. But the prices were the same as the main restaurant where the food is made fresh. Now that I have vented I can say that the two sandwiches we purchased were very good! I had the Chicken Wrap and my wife the Turkey sandwich or panini. Mine had little to no avocado on it. And my wife's had none. We also had the brownie which was delicious. We will not be back as this new venture is a fail. But we will continue to visit the main location in Tinley Park as that is awesome! read more

I came here for an event, and got to try a bunch of dishes! The food was delicious- my favorite was the avocado cheesecake- I loved it so much I bought a slice (1/4 of a pie) to take home! I also really enjoyed the tikka, Mac n cheese, toasts, and the rice/cauliflower rice bowls! Oh! And let me not forget the smoothies! Avocado works so well in all of these dishes. I loved learning so many more ways to include avocado in my diet than just the traditional- guac or avo toast. Shout out to the owner- who started by making guacamole for Super Bowl customers at Mariano's, to starting a guacamole stand at farmers markets, to owning this brick and mortar, upcoming food truck, and soon to be franchised! There is ample parking in a lot next to the building. The inside has a walk up counter to order, then tables to seat yourself in two different rooms.
